I hope everyone is doing well! I was just curious about house rulers in the natal chart and how to go about interpreting them/interpreting aspects between planets with their rulerships factored in?

I feel like house rulership is something I just found out about, and I would love to know more/hear about any examples of how you see house rulership applying in your life?

e.g I give you an example from my chart,
I have cancer cusp 11th house and Moon is in 9th house

most of my friends (80-90%) are from abroad or belong to entirely different culture than I do, some even speak a different language but they are my best buddies.

2: ruler of 7th in 5th sometimes indicates a love marriage or a strong element of romance in marriage

4: ruler of 4th in 9th sometimes means a house abroad or international property.means you will have a home away from your roots.

Here is a member Coffee who believes that this house based approach is even stronger when whole-signs house system is followed. you can work with your house rulers in other houses and find amazing information.

Some of my house rulership makes sense. (Rules of 1st in the 3rd- intense desire for knowledge, especially related to self) that's probably why I became interested in astrology.

Ruler of my third is in the twelfth, which explains why I enjoy
studying science, medicine, astrology, etc.

The second house in my chart becomes even more important through the house rulerships (Placidus system):

The rulers of my 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th and 8th are ALL in the second house!!

I am trying to grasp the meaning of all this... (I have posted a few times that I don't "get" my 2nd house, as I am not into money or worldy possessions at all...)

Would be a desire to communicate.

Would be loving to communicate on deep mystical things

All I kno is I'm very aware of my subconscious and I try to let it run it's course so I can learn more about me. I was exposed to the 8th house pretty damn early.

My 2nd house ruler is also in the first, I am very particular about my body and it is closely tied to my esteem. That why I try to stay in shape.

My 4th house ruler is in the second, and I can honestly say home has been a place where I at least seek security. Sometimes I get it sometimes I dont but I seek and expect it.
