i don't know how many will be able to relate..

i've been studying this for a while and I have pluto in my sixth house.. you could maybe imagine only how much i will sit there and search til i find whatever is under the sky to satisfy my curiosity for whatever is hidden (especially when it comes to me figuring this stuff out).

i think i'm reaching catharsis too soon (if that's even at all possible) because i'll meet someone and then i'll study their chart.. even if it's just something casual, i'll study the chart, the aspects, the placements.. it feeds the curiosity until i feel the release and then, as soon as i do, the relationship is gone.

it happened with someone i was interested in getting to know.. turns out, i studied their chart, found everything related to them and even purchased a book they published and once i finished the book, not a moment too soon, the day after, i got a message from them saying that they'd like to break the bond.

if part of the reason people get together is to experience these things through each other, is it possible that i'm doing it at lightning speed ; lot faster than usual human relations?

uranus; it's in my eighth.

i don't check synastry with partners so much. mostly i just concentrate on what i can improve about myself. it's connected anyway somehow.. i think. but yeah i guess that's sorta what you're doing with your chart right now.

I often look at people's charts and stuff as well. I don't do it with everybody I meet, but I like finding out more about them and seeing just how unique everyone is. Helps me learn more about them and stuff like that. My Pluto is in second which also an earth-y house.

Too bad about the person leavin' you... :C

I can feel people's aspects with me without looking often--male and female.
The chart just shows it in black and white lol

Anything I do astrology related, I ultimately do it for research purposes. If i look at someone's synastry with me, I am ultimately looking for what makes our chemistry so awesome, so I can keep an eye out for it for hen I have that aspect with somebody else. Eventually I figure I will run into someone that i feel strongly for and when those little devils on ur shoulder show up telling you to move on and not fight so that we will run into each other again or possibly face rejection by posting on their facebook wall, if I look at our synastry and see all of these awesome aspects that i have "collected" over the years of studying my synastry with others, then i will have that push that i need, that confidence and reassurance i need to know that a stronger connection is worth fighting for. Astrology mostly helps me validate the feelings and connections i feel for people.

I think if anything you probably feel bad not about astrology but about the fact that these people seem to not want to be your friend because I know anyone would be hurt by that . Please forgive those sons of a gun who are such a-holes who would be willing to do that to someone who obviously wants to be their true friend, and take the synastry and natal charts you have studied as adding to your arsenal of astrology knowledge that you can use to help both yourself and others in the future.

I just check the natal charts sometimes to make sure they don't have cheating tendencies and huge anger issues haha.

i'm going wayyy beyond synastry here.. i'll glimpse at it but i study their chart about as much as i'll study mine!

then i'll spend baout a day or tow, maybe three, where i don't leave to do much of anything and read read read all of the notes i have and everything on the internet.. then once i do go into synastry, i look at midpoints.. and i look at what planets of mine fall where and if that weren't enough, then there's astrotheme..

so if i don't have anyone's chart to study, there will be once i get online and go to astrotheme and find similarities between them and their stories and the placements i see other people have.

this has happened more than once which is why i'm wondering if whatever business i may have had to deal with, i'm doing it faster than i ever could've imagined and literally, the relation is sorted out, but, quickly!!!!!

pluto in my sixth almost conjunct cusp of 7th
it trines north node in eleventh
trines chiron in 2nd/3rd
mercury is in sixth
mercury squares chiron
mercury squares neptune
mercury opposes mars
mercury trines jupiter and pallas/mc

quote:
Those with Pluto in the 6th house can have an obsession with routine and ritual. The 6th house rules over our day-to-day routine of life. The 6th house also describes how we get along with our co-workers and the people we are serving and who serve us. People with this placement of Pluto may possibly have power-struggles in the place of work, and sometimes the individual gives the impression of being threatening, intimidating and hostile to other people.

Instead those at work bully or threaten this person, and betrayal, treachery, jealousy, bitchiness and intrigue is not uncommon. This position of Pluto does not react well to criticism at work and they can also be ruthless with others on the job. Alternatively, they may be over-zealous in their work practices, powerful and efficient in routine and executing the job the right-way. Pluto can transform work conditions, lifestyle and routine, and the individual has tremendous organizational capability, excelling at precision work.

These people can be a dynamo at work and have laser-like focus on what needs to be done within a schedule. Pluto in the 6th house desires and ensures that the job gets done right and they are passionate in the workplace, no one is more loyal, committed and dedicated to service. Furthermore, there is also a need to make sweeping changes in the office, factory or workshop.

In some cases the work is Plutonian by nature: Psychology, healing, detective, investigation, research, mortician and so forth. In addition, there is also the tendency towards obsession with work and some individuals function like workaholics. Pluto here may be over-consumed with the minor details and tend to over-analyse problems to death.

The work-life may go through cycles of change and they may stay in a job for years, until fate pushes them in a completely new direction. Sometimes there can be losses at work, or conditions beyond their control. Losing a job can have a serious psychological impact. Pluto here is invested, driven and compulsive in their work. Wherever Pluto is placed is where the individual may have to face a life and death struggle, and so crisis at work, health troubles or pet matters may be areas of concern.

Persons with Pluto in the 6th house can explore the functions of the mind and body in all-encompassing depth, complexity and penetration.

I see I'm not the only one with Pluto in the 6th.
I tend to get obsessed with details, sometimes.
But mostly with my health/diet.
And routine, routine.. sigh.
The Virgo Moon doesn't help.

I also have that compulsion of checking charts of the people I meet, whenever I can. Drives me mad sometimes, but that's the risk you take when studying astrology I guess.

my sun is in virgo and i have mercury in the sixth! pluto in there makes a sextile to the sun.. do you do it perhaps to the point where u finnnnnally understand? because i do not feel a sense of comfort until i get to the bottom of something and i'm getting better and better at it to the point where the fluff that a lot of people enjoy, is just being straight sliced through by me.

Mercury in the 6th House

You use these mental capabilities very well, with focus and economy. You have a knack for perceiving what's wrong with a person or situation and are able to devise or suggest methods to improve matters. Health is one area in particular where your mental powers can be successfully brought to bear but it's also possible that you're prone to overwork and nervous tension yourself. A definite health regimen and work routine would help to remedy these inclinations. Essentially you are a good worker and appreciate the true value of work.

Yes my Mercury is also in the 6th.
I have a stellium in the 6th actually.

And with all that Scorpio combined with the Virgo energy, I definitely want to get to the core of things.
People tell me I am perceptive.

The only thing is that I have a Gemini Ascendant, so I get bored very quickly and feel the urge to move on.
But not until I get to the core

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm SO glad that you understand!!!!!!!!!!! that's exactly how it is with me but pluto also opposes my ascedant... i'm comfortable only once i've gotten through the muck and know where everything actually stands not where it appears to be!!!!!!!! kind of like an itch? u ever have an itch that itches but when u scratch it you find out it's not there and it's reflecting from somewhere else?

i'll find it!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Pluto actually widely opposes my Ascendant, too. And it conjuncts my Mars.

Yeahhh I totally get where you're coming from!

We are such freaks

I also have Pluto in 6th (Scorpio) and Uranus in 8th (Capricorn)

I can sometimes be obbsessive when wanting to learn new things about astrology. Sometimes I spend can half my day learning more.

I useally don't check synastry with like everyone...once in a while I will get exited when I make a connection with someone, and I will want to know why we have such a good conection.

I realize one of my favorite synastry aspects are when mars and venus conjunct.

Yep.
I have pluto in the sixth too, and merc, only my merc is conj nept.Mars and uranus are there too.

I've burned out on so many topics b/c I zipped through them.
Astrology isn't one OF them, at this point, because I've never jumped fully in,
but there have been many, many others.

This never stops, btw, I think you are alot younger than me, well, I am assuming,
but, I STILL do it.
(I have an 8th h sun, and merc in scorp, so you see, I have no choice but to get to the bottom of things, or go insane.)

For example, I was thinking of putting dreadlocks in my hair
and before I made my decision,
I read the history of..
How they (dreadlocks) are perceived in modern culture and the workplace
The horror stories..
How to methods..

And watched, probably 100 or so clips related to dreadlocks online.
I mean, some say it's obsession, some say it's informed, IDK.
But, then once I feel like I know all I need to know,
I can lay it down.
Doesn't mean I won't come back and rediscover it again
(as you may in astro)
just means, my brain has had enough for now, and it's moving on. lol

As far as basing or forming an opinion on astro.. hmm
I don't think that's wise. That's just MY opinion, but if you do that, won't you avoid or cut out alot of experiences that you were meant to have for soul growth??

Yes, I agree with Sand. It's amazing how accurate and invaluable that moonit.com site is. It only looks at the strongest aspects in synastry and already predicts accurately what a relationship as all about just on that, even how and if the relationship is likely to end, for christ's sake...that is so good!

i've never gone the route of looking up dreads, but YES!!!! i'm so glad it's not just me!! i don't cross off experiences because of astro, i notice that once i get to the bottom of it or get that 'thumbs up or down', the connection is released.. as if whatever we were going to learn or discover or experience, i went ahead and moved through it myself for the both of us.. i have pluto in scorpio. taurus rising.

uranus is moving through my twelfth, or about to once it passes the 5th degree of aries (interestingly enough, i've never experienced uranus there and it's not been in aries for quite some time and when it first entered the sign, it was in conjunction with Jupiter! (the giver of good luck!) well, uranus was discovered in 1781(?) and i don't think it's been in aries since it's been discovered because it was found in the constellation of gemini) with uranus in my twelfth, i've been sitting by myself, in my room and all of a sudden, all of these insights just hit me! and i mean they don't stop!!!!!!! they just snowball and snowball and before i know it, i feel like i've gotten sooooooo much out of the way by just rolling with it that it really feels as if it let me free (do excuse the puns with the themes of uranus) but that's what it feels like, as if some of the shackles just get shaken off like a magician.

i thankfully embrace it and i cherish it, it's just something i've never experienced before so i guess i'm trying to understand it? yes, that'd probably be what it is that i'm saying with this post; i'm getting 'get out of jail' free cards handed to me both left and right without even finding myself in the sh!tty situations, which is GREAT!!!!!!!!!

i was wondering to myself if there was any good karma in any of this and i wonder now if maybe this is the good just starting to take off!!! it's certainly something that has taken me off guard and requires adjustment!

i'll thankfully leave it at that!

Wow transiting Uranus is also in my 12th.
But I don't get any insights, not yet at least.

That sounds interesting though.
