I think your sun tells more of whether you enjoy being reserved or outgoing and I believe your rising sign shows how others view you. For example, you may prefer to not be the most talkative or center of attention but if you have a leo rising(the way people see you) than most likely people will view you as extroverted.IP: Logged |

could be. i'm a taurus sun. i'm more introverted. except i have leo moon in 10th so i don't seem like one. plus if you have an outgoing ascendant it may be difficult to tell whether you are introverted or extroverted. i think introverts are energized by alone time. extroverts are energized by people.what about number of feminine versus masculine planets? feminine=yin=introverted masculine=yang=extroverted IP: Logged |

The Sun sign is the first part of the personality that most people see, for example as a Leo sun, I'm friendly, yet only to those who I like, there is some exclusivity to being a Leo Sun, so I'm definitely a introvert. And the rising sign is only apparent to people who really know you, like as a Leo Sun I might be a attention seeker, but with Sagittarius rising in the mix I'm more causal and down to earth once you get to know me... i'v heard the time of the day (whether day or night) helps determine extrovert/introvert...so i think a combo of both plus moon and asc help determine whether you prefer being around people or by yourselfme, i was born at night (with sun down, 6:08 in winter, so sun was def down), scorpio sun, leo moon, gem asc i like to be around people during the day, but i MUST have my alone time at the end of the day AT HOME! has to be at home, i cant relax until i'm home ------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

i think that depending on your rising and moon determines whether your more extroverted or introverted. im a libra and from what i read libra can be rather social. ive noticed that october libras are a bit more social than the september libras which are more private. maybe from virgo influences? but im extremely introverted. my moon is in virgo and my risings in taurus and my ruling planet venus is in scoprio conjunct pluto. so i think that becuase most of my planets are in yin signs that it makes my libra natuer a lot more introverted. ive taken those myer briggs personality test and my introverted level was like 78 percent or something. and when ive taken the big 5 personality test i think i got like 23 percent extroverted sorta funny IP: Logged |

Well I don't think it's the Sun and Asc that influence being vs. appearing intro-/extraverted. It could definitely be all of the planets involved and even their positions in the houses.I have Scorpio Sun. You'd think that it being an introverted sign, I AM introverted (or, even, all Scorpios are which in my experience doesn't seem the case either. Unlike myself, every single Scorpio that I meet seems to emit a lot of confidence), but it couldn't be farther from the truth if it tried. I'm very extraverted but appear very shy and hesitant. And I have a Sagittarius Asc. So negatve Sun and positive Asc, and I still appear more hesitant than I really am. You'd think it should be the other way around. But I have 5 planets in positive signs, 6 of them in positive houses, so the positive still outweighs the negative in my chart, albeit not with much. So from that perspective I can understand that people might think that I'm shy, while I'm actually quite social. I like to think I'm both: shy at first but once the first word is said, I don't stop talking  ------------------

Pluto in 12th could do it. Tell me your exact Pluto aspects--house ,sign and degree.
These would affect it too I think Pluto in the 12th turns your primal drives inward as opposed to outward ------------------

I feel like I'm an ambivert when I usally take these quizes I useally almost tie between intro and extravert. So I truely feel that I am an a Ambivert(that means somewhere in between.)I even just tried taking a quiz and it was p!ssing me off...It was asking me stuff like when you meet someone new do you talk or listin...and I'm thinking BOTH...why isn't there a both button!!! Or a depends on what kind of mood I'm in button!? ------------------

I feel the same way, actually. When I took that MBTI personality test thingy I was like 49% Extrovert and 51% Introvert. It really does depend on what kind of mood I'm in. IP: Logged |
