From Robert Hand's book "Horoscope symbols" , the Jupiter Pluto midpoint signifies

"The drive to improve. The drive to grow more in one's personal life, hence the drive for success and achievement. Also, the danger of conflicts with people in power or those who might be threatened by one's achievement".

So... with Uranus there ... you will display a certain originality/genius/unorthodoxy/innovation/inventivness in the way you achieve success in your personal life. Maybe success will come out the blue, or your path there will be erratic. By the same token, unexpected threats may appear from those with whom you come into conflict.

Jupiter/Pluto according to Don McGroom (Midpoints) is : Strength of conviction and optimism for dramatic, sweeping change, expansive transformational change for growth, recognising , embracing, or promoting necessary, inevitable change, potential for major recognition or financial rewards. Uranus focal - individuality, innovation, eccentricity or rebelliousness associated with the expression of this.

From "Parker's astrology " Uranus=Jupiter/Pluto : "Will take full advantage of every situation. A go-getter. A liking for power over others"

Which one do you think describes you best? With 2nd house it should be related to what you value, the way you earn a living. South Node - An inherited trait from a past life????

yay! awesome TB! THANKS! it's actually the only thing i have that conjunct a midpoint.

quote:
Maybe success will come out the blue

sometimes i think i'll just luck into things like forest gump lol. not that i'm stupid hehe!

quote:
your path there will be erratic.

so far a lil bit. definitely hasn't been the usual way of doing things.

quote:

hmm.. well i can predict conflict between outward enemies in fact i think i do that automatically now before acting. it's the friends/ family i will never see coming. but i've learned that lesson already with family.

i'm eccentric and rebellious fo sho! it's the change i'm not so keen on. i'm pretty lax with society but yeah maybe i should try and do some good and try and change stuff that are totally wrong.

^strangely before my first uranus hard transit i was like this but that seemed to knock the wind outta me. it's just the go getter part that is missing now but i think it will come back soon.

uranus there isn't a nice position so i've read. can i think of mine as good now because it is all that? (unaspected, singleton, jup-pluto midpoint)

It doesn't sound too bad to me, if you don't mind a bit of a wild ride at times! (Guaranteed you won't be bored )

"the go getter part that is missing now but i think it will come back soon." ... yeah, I think you are probably right - My own experience of Uranus contacts is that the energy definitely has an on/off quality. When it is firing it is electric, then it goes dead on you ... then it recycles again. The annoying thing is you can't predict when. It just happens.
