Hello! I'm having difficulties finding out what time I was born. My mom says it was at 12PM, and my dad says it was at 8AM, and that changes, among other things, my rising sign. My sun sign is Taurus, and my rising sign can either be Gemini (8AM) or Leo (12PM). I'm writing so that someone can please help me figure out through the characteristics I notice about me which one is my rising sign. Things that cannot be questioned are that I'm really anxious, in the sense that I can't sit still and concentrate to study for more than 5 minutes, which is really bad, and I'm also very concerned about what people think of me, in appearance and in personality (I never leave home without makeup and if a friend is not smiling or a bit changed I always think I did something to him, which more than often turns out to be a delusion).
I'm an extremely curious person, which I know is a main feature of people who have Gemini in their charts, and that could maybe tell I'm Gemini rising, but I'm not sure because in either time(8 or 12), I have Venus and Mercury in Gemini, which maybe would be enough.
PLEASE HELP ME!!

I can describe myself physically if that helps. I'm tall, have a small upper body, big hips and medium-sized thighs, thin calves, my face, nose, mouth and chin are small, I have big blue eyes, my hair is dark brown, thick and long. I'm overall thin, but tend to put on weight in my hip and butt area (but maybe that's because I'm brazilian haha).

Pointy chin? U sound so Gemini to me.
What about muscles? Do u easily build muscle mass,without much effort? Narrow shoulders?
Where would ur Sun be,considering Gem Asc?

Where are your other planets? Moon, Mercury, etc... Could be some of them are in Gemini, which gives you typical characteristics so it doesn't necessarily have to be the rising

Mercury in Gemini
Venus in Gemini
Mars in Aquarius
Jupiter in Taurus
Saturn in Capricorn
Uranus in Capricorn
Neptune in Capricorn
Pluto in Scorpio

How do I post a picture?

I have very narrow shoulders, and I think I could be considered a Gemini asc from my appearance, but my big hips and butt seem to prove it wrong.

I'm going to guess Gemini...

One of my friends is Gemini Rising, and she's always worried about her hips, even though she doesn't need to be. I wouldn't worry too much about not fitting the physical stereotype of an ascendent, b/c there are so many other things at work there.

From your post, I get a sense that you are more Gemini Rising than Leo Rising. I think if you were Leo Rising, you probably wouldn't have asked in the first place. Leo Rising people are confident, and since you seem to be very curious, I feel pretty sure that you're Gemini Rising. Plus, with Gemini Rising, it seems that a few of your planets would be in the 1st and 12th houses. The 12 house would give you the interest in something as "hidden" from society as astrology, and the 1st house Merc and Venus would make appearance and communication important to you/apparent, and since you mentioned that you don't leave the house without looking good, and you bother to ask the question, it all seems to fit (in my opinion).

I know many pear-shaped Gem Asc,Virgos too-Merc Ruler in both cases;
Gem Asc have great skin,long limbs; Overall appearance give impression of perky,healthy individual,those with lighter skin often have rosey cheeks,very subtle.
When Mercury(seen as neutral planet) is working on feminine side,it makes their natives very fine,classical in shape-with accent on hips.

It helped a lot, noblefish11. What you said makes perfect sense to me, I'm pretty sure now I'm a gemini rising.
Venus DiSirius, I just read something about having sun in the twelfth house and I was absolutely astonished when I read that it was related to your father figure. I have some deep issues with my father, mainly because he has alcohol problems and that caused me to suffer a lot emotionally.

You sound Gemini asc to me too, but if you could post a pic, it would be great. Just go to tinypic.com, upload it, then copy and paste the url for boards here. The sun in 12th bodes well with alcoholic father figure but if you're Leo asc (they're vain and they don't leave home without make-up ), my guess is that the other features could be from the Venus and Mercury in Gemini - they would be in the 10th with Leo asc, right? Do you get a lot of compliments for your hair?
