I mean...

You'd have to decide what makes a trine, the sign or the number of degrees. A trine is 120 degrees, but a trine is harmonious because it is based on the fact that the signs are harmonious.

Exactly, so would you agree that the degrees stay at 360 no matter how many zodiac signs? Pretty much what I'm asking is do the aspects always stay the same no matter what?

I would say that a full zodiac circle would have to be 360 degrees because that's the number of degrees in a circle.

Throwing in a 13th sign also throws off the female/male, mode and element balance off as well. There are 6 male and 6 female signs, 4 cardinal, fixed and mutable signs, 3 air, water, fire and earth signs.

To answer your question: Idk. It's hypothetical anyway because we obviously don't use 13 signs.

i always thought that astrology was based off of the suns ecliptic path around earth (or earths around the sun) and the seasons... so fixed star constellations dont really even play a role in astrology... soo the 13th constellation means nothing.

It's not that I believe in the 13th zodiac, I'm just trying to get a better understanding of how the degrees in a chart are divided.
