Hey Everyone, I just wrote this up on my blog, it's just the basics on what to look for if you're hoping to write professionally. http://apolloandthelycan.blogspot.com/2011/08/writing-indicators-useful-asteroids.html IP: Logged |

Venus can never be more than 76 degrees from the Moon and so there can only be moderately difficult aspects formed such as the semi square. Personally, I find the semi-sextile an awkward one to integrate but this could be because of other heavier chart factors that dominate. A typo? IP: Logged |

That`s an interesting list. Thanks for that.Personally, I need to write to stay sane and I really enjoy the process. That doesn`t mean though I want to get published. As a matter of fact I haven`t been writing a whole story for many years, and I miss the process so much. Not much in Gemini or Virgo. SN is in Gemini (and asteroid KARMA) and DESC.
Mercury conjuncts Sun in Sag in 1st house exact. (they co-ruler the 9th house, and Mercury also rules 7th house) So that means: ruler of 9th house (Mercury) conjuncts Sun (ruler of 9th house) in Sag in 1st house. ruler of 9th house (Sun) conjuncts Mercury (ruler of 9th and 7th house). Seems there is a tight link up between 9th, 7th and 1st house through Sun and Mercury, and of course the signplacement in SAgittarius resonates with the 9th house. ruler of 3rd house, Uranus, in Scorpio in 11th house (unaspected - wild card) intercepted ruler of 3rd house, Neptune, in Sagittarius in 1st house: EXACTLY conjunct NN, conjunct ASC (2) conjunct Mars, ruler of 4th house in 12th house, (5) sextile Pluto (0), ruler of 11th and 12th house on the Libra-MC
Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house (in mutual reception with Neptune in Sag in 1st): so, Neptune as ruler of 3rd house is in Sag in 1st house; and Jupiter as ruler of 1st house is in Pisces in 3rd house and Jupiter squares Neptune by 1 degree (yes, "fantasy" is my genre) for the asteroids: °MUSA conjunct KASSANDRA conjunct DNA (all on 20 Libra) conjunct SAPPHO on 22 Libra in 10th house °POLYHYMNIA On 6 Sag conjunct ASC on 7 Sag, conjunct Mars on 5 Sag, conjunct Neptune/NN on 10 Sag °ERATO on 15 Sag in 1st opposite Karma on 16 Gemini, sextile Moon on 17 Aquarius ° KALLIOPE on 2 Cap in 1st, part of a gigantic stellium on 1-3 Cap of asteroids, VESTA, STONEHENGE, KNIGHT, TRISTAN, BODA, EVA, SINBAD ° EUTERPE on 18 Cap in 2nd house oposite Saturn on 17 Cancer in 8th house °TALENT conjunct URANIA On 22 Aquarius in 2nd house exact, conjunct mean BML and PSYCHE On 24 Aquarius as well; trine MUSA/DNA/SAPPHO in Libra in 10th (probably that is where my inclination for astrology appears) °MELPOMENE conjunct Jupiter in Pisces in 3rd house exact, squaring Neptune/NN on the ASC exactly EDIT: OH I just see, ARACHNE is on 8 Sagittarius, same degree as Atlantis and conjunct ASC on 7 Sag, Polyhymnia on 6 Sag, Neptune/NN on 10 Sag and a bunch of other asteroids (Wisdom, Angel, Lust for example).
I think I whould read the article on Arachne, if she happens to be on my ASC. Isn`t that the Greek word for spiders? Oh and ARACHNE is exactly sextile PALLAS on 9 Aquarius, which in turn is exactly trine PLUTO on my Libra-MC.

Just for the heck of it, can you look at mine? I've been told it's a good chart for writing, but frankly, I've had no real luck with it. IP: Logged |

I love my 3rd house Pisces-Jupiter. I wouldn`t exchange him! Though it means that my posts tend to become lengthy. lol IP: Logged |

CK, I'm wondering if the ruler of your 9th (Saturn) is indicating that success in publishing may be delayed or come "later"?IP: Logged |

Oooohh! Good point! Yes, I've always been a "late bloomer" type. Yeah, maybe I have a few more years yet to hit it. Just hope it happens before I die! LOL! It'd be a drag to be one of those types who get "discovered" after they're gone. IP: Logged |

Not really. I am fantasy writer but I like to use philosophical words. Also I like to write about religion but not in the concrete way. IP: Logged |

I just wondered because your sun + merc in the 9th, you have scorp asc and quite a few aspects to pluto, do you feel there's a fair amount of complexity or depth in your work? Can I just ask about your merc sq asc? I have that too .. same signs, do you tend to hold the leo back ? IP: Logged |

Yes. My trilogy is VERY commplex. I don't like ordinary series. I want it to be original, complex, interesting. I think I didnt understand the second question. Holding back Leo? How? I don't like to write in a dramatic way if that were u thinking. If you have more Q, shoot.

I meant do you tend to not come across like a leo in a social setting? We're supposed to be drama queens and like attention but I've found with a scorp ascendant ...I don't like too much attention. I can be very controlled in my responses to others - especially in person. IP: Logged |

Ha,Rosalind I knew u'd post here Oh,I am a Mutable Menace, according to Pullen delineation of dominant signs and planets-Gem,Vir,Sag,Merc being the most dominant, along Moon and Saturn. Merc in H12,sextiled by MC Venus; Writing to me is like the most coveted lover, secret love, that one bit completely mine. Like combination of adventure and those mystic travels, very catharsic. Only wish I had Pluto/Merc aspect. In general,H3,9,12,Merc/Saturn,or Moon,Neptune. Merc parallel Asc/MC. Dysfuntionalmystic,I love how u put difference between Gem and Vir Mer,journalist and novelist

Oh, no. At all. I love attention so I don't hold back my Leo.

Sand - the ones that stand out for me in your chart are the merc in te 6th which gives us skills we can use in our "work" and also jupiter in the 3rd has a larger than average need to communicate, merc trine nep gives a good imagination. Moon on the mc can give an ability to connect with (and be liked by) the public).Venus - I keep having issues with myself over using generalisations but sometimes it's easier. One part of me knows I have to commit to saying something but then another part screams at me for putting things into boxes...it's a constant battle. IP: Logged |

God I wish I was more like that, I've got my sun (leo) 6 degrees from my mc too....I'm great on a one to one but shove me under the spotlight and I'm hunting for the nearest rock to crawl under. IP: Logged |

Well I never say never but I'm 38 and in some ways getting worse, I suppose the mid life crisis could bring something forward. Don't get me wrong I'm not shy and I don't lack confidence but I'm happier sat in a corner watching everyone else. If I didn't have such an obsessive need to communicate then I'd be a happy hermit. Cardinal Signs are leaders.Maybe Cancer makes me that way.
