What are the differences you note between these two groups of couples? It seems to me that square couples share the limelight more often. It's like they push each other to live more on the edge. What do u notice?I've always felt that my square signs Aries and Libra pushed me out of my comfort zone--to better myself, to go for what I want, and it definitely makes us both share the limelight often in a very exciting way. Lol yeah trine is Virgo Taurus and Cap all earth signs.I understand  . Maybe ot was your specific synastry with them, one was stronger than the others' regardless of sun sign. But synastry being equal, i have felt more of that "energetic and invigorating" feeling with the square signs. Grupovenus.com says: Your sun signs are square. Your relationship is dynamic and energizing. You challenge each other to grow and develop, but unfortunately the process tends to be abrasive and frustrating. Sq: I haven't met any Taurus men,as love interest; Scorpios r always intriguing,but,sometime I am just too much of a sunshine to bask in; I do tend to meet lower type ofScorpios,so maybe not pleasant,but yes,invigorating.
Trines: There was magic with Sag Sun; Aries too,but very lighhearted fun,breezy,coming back for more,but not in addicted kind of way.
Merc Square is what works for me,in friendships,but big no to Sun squares.
I do firmly believe that squares bring sth lasting and substantial.IP: Logged |

square suns are great and they are very lasting friendships for me.
square moons bring lots of excitement to romance via friction, but can't complain if they just don't 'get' you or you them.Seeing aqua/scorp relationships and marriages always startle me for a minute b/c the ones I've even seen in person go horribly horribly wrong.
Just genralizing of course, but
personally I think that paticular coupling has a much better chance working out if the man is the aqua and the woman is the scorp.

I only really connect with people whose suns are square, sextile or opposite my sun .... But never trine! I suspect the reason is because I do not have any trines in my own chart between my major planets, so trines are a non-event for me. (I do have squares/opps/sextiles so I "understand" that kind of energy better). Just a theory.IP: Logged |

My best friend has a Scorp stellium, I'm an Aqua. We definitely get hyped when we're around each other, but I always figured it was because several of her planets fall into my 5th and vice versa.IP: Logged |

Seeing as half my chart is in Sagittarius I suppose I'll have to look at the squares to that sign.I do find that Virgos have that invigorating effect on me and for some reason I seem to spur Pisces into action. But truth be told, and my Gemini moon is probably in on it somehow, it's the Geminis who can really invigorate me. When I look at my Sun sign, it'll always be conjunct Saturn. Can you imagine any squares to that being invigorating? I'll rephrase that, can you imagine Saturn invigorated? LOL! I do get on great with Leos and Aquarians, but I wouldn't call them invigorating. Although it has to be said that any Air sign does give me energy somehow. ------------------

Some of the Sun signs are incorrect… Russell Brand is a Gemini not Aqua, Billy Bob is a Leo not Libra, Seal is born right on the cusp so he could be either Pisces or Aqua, and Selena Gomez also born right on the cusp so she could be a Leo or Cancer.

Funny, I was just thinking about this. I'm an Aquarius and the two Sun Signs I'm most attracted to in the opposite sex are Taurus and Scorpio. If you look at the list of past hook-ups, those are the two dominating signs. I like fixed signs. I appreciate it, and see it as a strong sense-of-self generally... IP: Logged |

That's because Taurus and Scorpios are probably the sexiest of the zodiac. But honestly guys. You HAVE TO look at the reast of your chart. If you're a feminine sun but your entire chart is filled with masculine sings it could be that that's the reason why you're attracted to them and vice versa.
Personally I love trine signs. Most of my chart is in trine to my sun. So other earth or water signs will have their sun signs in trine, conjunct or sextile with most of my chart.
I like some masculine signs like Aquarius and Libra but I feel most comfortable with my own kind.
Do they push me to be something "better"? No, nobody does. I always push myself and I'm pretty good at it.  IP: Logged |

Omg. That's true I didn't realize that. I dunno how I had remembered that Billy Bob and Russell were the wrong signs. Woww. Well, I think it could be very likely that seal is a pisces. But selena is definitely a cancer, don't you think? Moody, insecure, sweet, awkward posture, small eyes big forehead and moon-shaped face.In any case I guess the seal and klum combo could replace the katy perry and brand loss for the team ...of square couples. Lol. But thank you, i totally didnt see that. This is just a fun little experiment. Curious to see what people had to say about their square signs bringing them out of their shell. Could it be a generational thing? I see my mothers generation being very much like that. Alot of sun-square friendship. While my generation doesn't seem to have that this often. (When I'm speaking about a generation I mean those who share the same Saturn/Uranus/Neptune/Pluto combination)
