Well THAT was a fun week! Three earthquakes and a hurricane named Irene! Quite a bit of action eh?

Last week, our three Hammers of Thor and the focused Finger of God combined with Mercury’s station to keep us moving and shaking, plotting and planning, evacuating and evaluating. We have part two coming this week. Although I must say figuring out how the heavens are going to TOP last week is mighty interesting!

Last week was also a good example of Mercury stationing. Most of the crazy excitement about Irene happened before Mercury stopped on Friday. Once he turned direct Friday, Irene’s extravaganza of excitement seemed to take a bit of a dip. Sure the subways and public transportation in NYC was stopped for the first time in history (Mercury stopped!) but as Irene decreased in strength, the story softened. And, as Mayor Bloomberg pointed out, “YOu make the decisions with the facts you have at the time.” And in the early part of the week, the facts were more scary than not scary.

So onto this week. We continue with the second Hammer of Thor from last week ~Uranus square Pluto with Mercury DIRECT working as the handle through Wed August 31. The Mercury Hammer of Thor inspires us to take action or be stressed if we don’t do what we are supposed to do. Mercury in Leo wants you to pursue what ever is in your heart and give yourself a yes to go for it. This Hammer is a companion to the Hammer of last week BEFORE Mercury stationed to go direct where we had the Earthquakes, Libya fall, Steve Jobs resign and the stock market fluctuations. Expect similar events this week through Wednesday. But this week’s events will be pick yourself up and move forward towards whatever it is that you love.

Jupiter stations to go retrograde on Tuesday. He’ll be moving backwards until December 26. He asks us to reverse our relationship decisions, or at least revisit them. We’ll travel back in the sign of Taurus and unscramble things begun since May 11 when Jupiter entered Taurus. We have an opportunity to redo things where we’ve expanded in our Taurus, Pisces and Sagittarian houses. We might have expanded in areas we didn’t actually mean to expand. Or perhaps we found after we expanded that we’d started down an incorrect path. Here is your chance to fix it.

We are starting a new 12 year cycle with Jupiter connecting back energetically to 2000, 1988, 1976, and 1964. Think of the areas that expanded in your life during those years. They will expand in earnest starting in December after the preliminary flirtation you’ve had since May. So we DO want to get it right before we build it for good and true! Taurus wants to put down roots, build things, have stuff and grow solid, reliable and dependable relationships. Jupiter is asking you to reconsider the relationships in your life to see if they match what you want from your life. That is your project between now and Christmas when Jupiter goes direct again.

We also have YET ANOTHER Hammer of Thor forming with Saturn and Mars as the business end of the hammer with Chiron at the handle from Tuesday through Friday. That is a particularly ouchy, sensitive and wounded Hammer involving Chiron. Think blistered hand from gardening or blistered foot in your sneaker trying to throw a hammer ~ it hurts you as much as it hurts whatever is at the business end of the Hammer.

The Hammer of Thor this week is created or sourced from a deep wound that you have inside of you. Your job is to know that wound is actually a source of enormous strength for you, even as it hurts so bad. Stand in the pain. Hold the hammer, even if it hurts. Pick the Hammer up, with the pain, even as you KNOW you have to do it.

Mercury in Leo has a number of aspects this week as he starts to move direct. He’s in a sign where he is SO clear! Listen to his clear voice. And, if you feel GUILT, check to see if you are trying to make Mercury or yourself do something you know deep in your heart that you don’t really want to do. Don’t fold or give into guilt. Stand clear in your choices. Stand clear in your heart’s desire.

Again choices made this week and last week will have a lasting result and impact in our lives. There is nothing wrong, amidst all the chaos, with sitting, quietly, and listening to your inner voice.

That is what your inner voice is FOR! Listen to it quietly. What is it saying to you?
