I'm curious to see if there's a pattern when it comes to saturn aspects in synastry and how long relationships last. List your Saturn aspects with the person you've had the longest relationship with [whether its still going or not]. Feel free to include Saturn aspects w/ (Chiron, NN, Vesta, & Juno) I heard these were very common in marriages.

Ahh people say that a lot about saturn relationships :[ There not fully happy w/ each other but they deal with it. Sorry to hear that, hope you find/found someone better.
Is there any aspect in particular that you think caused you two to be a unhappy couple?

From what i read neptune deals with lieing & cheating if aspected badly, but uranus definitely causes some break ups.
My parents are finally divorced and they have Venus conjunct Uranus. They "broke up" a few times even while they were married.

Your synastry has a lot in common with the guy i'm with now.
my Saturn squares his Venus
his Saturn conjuncts my Venus (4 degs)
his Saturn sextiles my Chiron
my Uranus squares his Saturn
his Saturn in my 7H

Lies yes... Cheating no...

His lies from before we even met caught up to him...

Uranus because he was all of a sudden taken away.

His Saturn conjunct my Mars/N.Node
His Saturn square my Moon.
My Saturn opposite his Mars.

My first (age 17 - 21) and longest and it lasted about 3 years. We weren't very happy together (too heavy!) but I do think he's the only one who truly loved me .. and now 19 years later we're still friends

Compared to him, I wasn't ready for a real commitment.

Not a romantic relationship, but a very long lasting friendship (roundabout 20 years until now; it`s hard to say when the friendship really began):

her Saturn (in my 8th house):
-----------------------------
opposite my Moon (5)
quinkunx my Jupiter (1)
trine my Neptune (2)
sextile my Pluto (3)
trine my NN (2)
trine my ASC (5)

my Saturn in her 1st house
----------------------------

sextile her Sun (1)
square her Moon (1)
widely conjunct her ASC (6)
widely conjunct her Vesta (5)

my parents (happily married for 37 years up to now)
--------------------------------------------

my Dad`s Saturn in my Mum`s 4th house:

conjunct her Venus (0)
conjunct her Mars (5)

my Mum`s Saturn in my Dad`s 1st house:

trine his Sun (3)
conjunct his Mars (0)
trine his Jupiter (3)
conjunct his SN (0)
very widely conjunct his Juno (4-5)

About my parents (happily married for many many many years - dad died);

His Saturn trine her Mars/Mercury conjunction.
Her Saturn opposite his Moon/Venus conjunction.

(his Moon/Venus conjunction square to her Mars/Mercury conjunction)

Oow wait I add;

Her own Saturn square her Mars/Mercury..
His own Saturn inconjunct his Moon/Venus..

(I guess that's important also)

I´ve been checking some celebrity relationships; though we do not know anything about their happiness or love, some of them were quite lengthy.

I noticed several aspects between Saturn/Jupiter, SAturn/Node (and of course the expected ones to Sun, Moon, Venus or ASC)

Tom Hanks / Rita Wilson
------------------------
his Saturn sextile her Venus (2)
his Saturn sextile her Jupiter (3)
his Saturn square her pluto (3)
his Saturn conjunct her NN (2)
his Saturn sextile her MC (4)

her Saturn square hsi Jupiter (1)
her SAturn trine his Uranus (0)
her Saturn square his Pluto (4)

Paul Newman / Joanne Woodward
-----------------------------

his Saturn square her MErcury (0)
his Saturn trine her Venus (0)
his Saturn square her Mars (2)
his Saturn trine her Pluto (3)
his Saturn sextile her ASC (1)

her Saturn conjunct his Mercury (3)
her Saturn conjunct his Venus (4)
her Saturn conjunct his Jupiter (0)
her Saturn opposite his Pluto (2)
her Saturn conjunct his ASC (3)
her Saturn sextile his MC (1)

their synastry was pretty insane.

Laurence Olivier / Vivien Leigh
-------------------------------
his Saturn trine her Mars (3)
his Saturn trine her Neptune (2)
his Saturn conjunct her NN (2)

her Saturn square his Moon (2)
her Saturn conjunct his ASC (1)

Johnny Cash - June Carter
--------------------------

his Saturn trine her Jupiter (2)

her Saturn sextile his Mars (4)
her Saturn square his NN (0)
her Saturn square his ASC (4)
her Saturn conjunct his MC (0)

Diego Rivera / Frida Kahlo
----------------------------

his Saturn conjunct her Jupiter (1)
his Saturn conjunct her NN (2)
his Saturn sextile her MC (2)

her Saturn sextile his Neptune (1)

Robert Browning / Elizabeth Barrett-Browning
--------------------------------------------

his Saturn square her MOon (3)
his Saturn sextile her Mercury (0)
his Saturn sextile her Mars (2)
his Saturn conjunct her Jupiter (3)
his Saturn sextile her Pluto (3)
his Saturn conjunct her NN (3)

her Saturn trine his Venus (3)

Interestingly Saturn/Mars seems to be rather frequent as well.

10 years. Engaged for 5. Never married.... The relationship started disintegrating at around the time of my Saturn transit. But we adopted a pet when we were together, so the dog is the reason for us to continue to interact.

His Saturn trines my Sun by 0 degrees. My Saturn opposes his Sun by 2 degree orb.

In the beginning, I was very clingy and insecure with him. And he felt that I was a burden and suffocating him. But as time went on, he became increasingly attached, even though I wasn't his type. It was a very comfortable, complacent, and codependent relationship.

It's always those Sun-Saturn or Moon-Saturn aspects that keep the relationship strong it seems :]

His Saturn semi-squares my Sun (2 degs applying) & inconjuncts my Moon (2 degs). My Saturn semi-sextiles his Vesta exact. Idk how much minor aspects count :/

I'm not sold on the semi-sextile for an aspect that has much power, but the inconjunct does ime.

Wow those are some tense Saturn placements, it must feel like a heavy burden when your around eachother. But still, if you can tolerate your clashes maybe the bond you share by saturn isn't so bad?

How about the semi-square, do you think that counts at all with that orb?
