And Saturn is conjunct Venus and square to Mars. He probably didn't have a good relationship to women or romance. But might have been a bit charismatic with the Scorpio rising and Jupiter conjunct Sun and square Moon. :S

I know a guy that is a Scorpio rising, with almost the same degree in Scorpio, and he is a sexual sadist too.

This chart has uranus conjunct south node.. Maybe he was a bit of a weirdo in a past life too?

Here are two Natal Charts with the time, 9:00 am, where he has ASC Leo. I think that he was ASC Scorpio, with Pluto in 12th. Beside that he had Mars in Aries, pretty aggressive man.

Everyone hates women. Look at history.

Now, sexual sadism is a bit different from misogyny, and they're not necessarily related. Sade was locked up for a good number of years because he wrote erotica and a lot of it centered around bdsm. BDSM is not inherently bad. There isno evidence that Sade actually DID any of the things he wrote about, he was mostly concerned with free speech and being as offensive as possible to the status quo.

On the deSade chart -
Venus square Mars + Saturn square Mars + Sun conjunct the midpoints of both of these squares show that the essence of his character is in those themes, and those themes include frustrated sexuality, vindictiveness and aggression.

On the daughter, she has a Sun square Mars (aggressive) and a powerful Mars Saturn conjunction which is in grand aspect to the Moon and Venus. Venus Mars aspects aren't always rosy and can indicate desire and violence mixed-up together. Moon quincunx Saturn/Mars shows hardness at times.

I have venus conjunct mars and I am not sadistic. On the contrary its really difficult for me to see someone in pain because I feel the pain too and I don't like feeling pain (psyche in scorpio, 12th house in scorpio, moon in pisces).

I read yesterday that the fact that I have chiron square venus and venus conjunct mars means that this is my first lifetime as a women . I could see how this can be true, doing housewife things feels like I have never done it before and approaching conflict in a venusian manner does not come naturally to me (south-node in Sagittarius in the 1st house). *I have always read that venus and mars conjunct makes you more androgynous internally. Meaning person is in touch with both her female and male sides. your female and male sides are balanced and not at conflict with eachother or at least you are here so they become balanced. Also venus conjuct mars makes you attractive to opposite sex, gives you certain magnetism and sex appeal.

my guy has a huge 8th house Stellium with Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Pluto plus Karma, and he is a sadist in a twisted way. he wouldn't actually hurt a fly, he even insists humans should invent fake meat so that no animals have to die, not really because he cares about animal-welfare or environment but because he's a "wussy" about it.

his ex was a real hardcore masochist, and he does enjoy that sort of stuff. i think he is very 8th house. plus his Mars and Neptune are in Scorpio.

I'm inclined to think the chart posted at the top for de Sade is not his correct tob with Sun placed in the 8th. But I agree with others on the harshness there with v.strong Mars in Aries sq the emotionally inhibited Venus conjunct Saturn in Cancer. Hard to say more without correct tob.

Mars sq Pluto is another factor.

Outer planets in the 8th. But it could go either way, re:Plutonian craziness. Let's just say they're a magnet for it and they know how to dish it out as well. These people have to be v.careful of their surroundings and also v.aware of the influence they hold over others. Double-edged sword. I've seen it turn v.ugly re:violence.
