THOSE SITES ARE WRONG.I was Googling a bunch of Mayan-related stuff and ended up on another forum where they were discussing Mayan astrology specifically...and apparently all those links, give the WRONG calculations.

Which explains why originally it didn't feel right or like an accurate fit.

Yeah, for some people that might be the case but I thinking that for most people, almost everything is going to change, and that's what ended up happening with mine, too. Pretty much the ONLY things that stayed the same were being a White Crystal Wizard and the Yellow Seed thing. I'm actually annoyed because I first started studying this off and on at least a year ago and thought I knew for sure what I was - it's like finding out you were born in a completely different month and have been claiming a completely different western zodiac sign all this time - I'm actually slightly annoyed (and p!$$ed off) by that. belligerentpygmy i found out about that kind of astrology a few years back and i printed out my info and stuff. its really interresting and cool. i thought the descriptions were pretty neat.

I did the same thing, looked into it and compiled all my info...then found out a day or two ago that all of it was wrong. If the stuff you posted above was from any of the other sites posted in this thread, you might want to run your birth data through the Photon site just to make sure it's accurate. hmm what part is wrong?
yeah i checked with that photon site and the law of time site and they were both right, as well as that other website i found a few years back. the same tone, color and that little symbol. but on that other website it gave me 4 or 5 other symbols as well? id have to find that printout and post the website. yeah it mentioned a lot of similar discriptions like my western as well. about mirroring myself to others and being a peacemaker. my ruling planet is venus but its conjunct pluto in scorpio so pluto is suppose to be a strong planet in my chart casue its angular with venus as well in the 7th. i got another mayan reading done by a friend i know and she was saying how since i was born after sunset that i might be a cusp so she gave me a discription about reed and jaguar and when they correlated those signs with the western reed was like libra and ruled by venus and jaguar is like scoprio ruled by pluto and i thought that was really interesting becuase yeah im a libra ha with a shadow of scorpio/pluto.

Pretty much my entire Mayan astrology profile was totally different from everything all those other sites told me over the years; the only part that stayed the same was my Wavespell and the "Yellow Seed" thing. My 'animal' changed, my Galactic Tone number...everything is different now. To me the Dzec/the Scorpion sounds way more like the western astrology sign Scorpio which obviously makes sense because of the whole Scorpion thing being a theme of both signs, and even the personality characteristics seem exactly like Western Astrology's definition of the Scorpio. Exactly what the Jaguar's western astrology equivalent is, I have no clue. My western chart is predominately Libra and Scorpio though, and I have nothing in the 'reed' sign so I don't think reed is necessarily the mayan equivalent of Libra, and that mirroring thing sounds more like a Neptunian quality than a Libran one, so if you don't have a heavily aspected or prominent Neptune in some way or anything in Pisces, you might want to go back and run your data through the Photon site again, especially if you were an early morning birth. I remember reading too someplace that people born in the very early morning hours should put the day before their birthdates into those sites in order to get an accurate reading because the Mayans considered the next day to begin only after the sun rose or something like that...
