Hi

My natal moon is at 7 cap 27" and natal neptune at 7 cap 25' so would also be interested in responses to the pluto transit.
Have you experienced anything yet?

t.Pluto conj n.Neptune could squash idealism you have attached to the house where Neptune resides in your chart. Could be in for rude awakenings but will make you more of a grown up and less naive and vague regarding matters of that house which is a good thing in the long run. I would say expect activity in the house where Neptune sits, during the conj it's not likely that things will be quiet on that front. I would also say expect the unexpected. Pluto can bring big changes. Something that seems great and just what you needed may drop you down to earth with a thud left to pick up the pieces. Also, it depends on how much you've let Neptune run your life in that area. If it has been given lots of leeway then it will be a more painful transit imo.

Neptune is in my 5th house, in cap (kinda near the end of 5th)

How would u interpret pluto affecting neptune in regards to 5th house qualities? Like how does neptune interact primarily in the 5th firstly, and then how would pluto transform this placement in my natal through its transit??

Thanks

I went through this transit exactly a year ago. I lost my job and have been unemployed ever since. I have Neptune in my first house, and it's exactly opposite my Sun. I never had a strong sense of who I am and was just kind of floating through life thinking that I'll find myself when I need to. Pluto said, "Yeah, that's not working so well for you. Allow me to remove the ground from beneath you." So, I'm still unemployed, but I've gained such a strong sense of who I am and what I want and what I need. I also had Saturn conjunct my MC during all of this squaring the t.Pluto/n.Neptune conjunction, so double Saturn-Pluto lesson time!

Hi Northernlad

Sorry to hear about ur struggles; hopefully Pluto will be aiding you in the long run and for the better. I think i c one of ur previous posts sayin u wanted to move abroad to teach or something?? English was it? How is that going (If i've got the right end of the stick)

Well its weird you are struggling with being unemployed. I am currently too; just graduated a few months ago; feel like im struggling with my direction! How do you think Pluto is affecting my Neptune SPECIFICALLY in the 5th (lol that looks well aggressive.. it weren meant to be, just was tryin to give the word emphasis)

P.s. im not a nosy parker lol but u cant help but sometimes pick things up n remember em on this forum, spesh when it relates to you.

I'm in the application stage with teaching in Korea. I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

For Pluto transiting your 5th, I would say it's going to want to overhaul 5th house things; creativity, fun, romance, children, etc. Maybe Pluto is saying you need to have more fun? Depending on how close to the 6th it is, it could also affect 6th house things, like overhauling your routines, health, everyday tasks. I think it also strongly depends on any aspects Neptune is making and how Neptune generally plays out in your chart. From what I understand, Neptune can be great for creativity and being in touch with other realms, but it can also cloud your vision and make reality hard to discern.

Actually, I found your chart in Personal Readings... My beginner-astrology guess would be it's going to have something to do with the Sun/Neptune conjunction. For me, with Sun opposite Neptune, I feel like Pluto was sorting Neptune out for me so I could express my sun more easily. I think with the conjunction, because these energies are fused together, you might tend to feel like you're in the clouds a lot? Perhaps Pluto is going to throw a wrench into things in order to show you the right path to go down in order to fully utilize your 5th house? Plus, being so close to the cusp of the 6th, I think you're going to feel it in that house too. I'm not so comfy giving concrete examples because I'm still very green with all of this, but that's what my gut is pointing me to.

Pluto basically destroys things so they can be reborn, so going off of what Lonake said, you need to look at Neptune in your chart (and I'd focus on the Sun/Neptune conjunction specifically) and figure out what it's doing. If it's not acting in a positive way for your life, Pluto is going to want to tear it all down and transform it in a way to help you in the long run.

I will have this next year. My Neptune is in the 5th too. It's conjunct Sun and Uranus and trine AC. I hope it will be a good transit.

Ahhh I miss northernlad & Lonake.

Cappy,

Usually Pluto/Neptune or Neptune/Pluto transits are pretty intense, with some good and bad stuff. Some people experience a real breakdown in most areas of life, usually mentally though (the confusion and breaking down of previous beliefs and patterns of thinking or behavior). The house they're in is definitely affected, so in your case, I'd imagine you'd go through some intense crushes / relationships and/or your creativity could be more (or less) pronounced than usual.
Your identity (Sun) would be on the line and after the transit you're assured to be "different" than before (more mature and with bigger experience).

It's gonna be a fun ride.

For me it's the 6th house. Power struggles on the job. I was having power struggles with employees (I was the assistant manager) and my boss was treating me like crap. You basically have to accept the change or pluto will just make it worse. I found a new job and tried to hold on to the other one part time (because I knew this was coming) and wound up losing it anyways. I've also had changing ideals about some different things but it's hard to put them in words exactly.

I will experience it soon to be exact, soon it will be within a degree of my natal Neptune. Neptune sits in my 4th, but rules my 7th. I wonder what will happen, though! Because i also have Jupiter (7th co-ruler) squaring my Sun exactly, and oppose my Saturn exactly (5th house ruler)...

Lol, that's very unlikely. Pluto hasn't reached my Neptune yet but I'm pretty sure even an exact conjunction can't break the walls of my ice castle

Perhaps my stupid crushes will be over for good. Neptune rules my Dsc.

Bumping this thread.

I have Pluto conj Neptune exact in my 1st house- anyone have this transit before or have it now?

The only thing I have noticed is I cannot sleep. At all. But the first few hits were definitely wake up calls in regard to my behavior and thoughts.

I wanted to post this example, my best friend currently has Pluto exact on her Neptune.

Last night while drunk she was physically attacked in public and has a black eye, chipped tooth etc. she is a beautiful girl, but has struggled with excessive partying so this is a huge wake up call for her. She doesn’t remember the attack and was left unconscious.
