I was reading over some old notes and came across the concept of the “Lilith Corridor” which was quite interesting as it considers the entire zone between the True and Mean Lilith to represent the “Lilith experience” in the chart. This zone opens with the True BML position which is thought to represent the most erratic and unpredictable part of the “Lilith experience” and then closes with the Mean BML where its magic ferments into something a lot more stable.

Furthermore, it was suggested that people with narrow Lilith Corridors (0-10 degrees) have a much more concentrated, intense Lilith experience than those who have wide corridors (which can be a good thing as strong Lilith people don’t always cope well with the energy). Coupled with this, an angular Lilith Corridor will make it even stronger, and any planet that falls in the Lilith Corridor will have a Lilith flavour. Planets that transit the zone will also be affected for the whole time they are in the zone.

The Lilith experience symbolizes the hidden, the unconscious, the part that people do not easily acknowledge about themselves, that which is taboo, the “shadow”, the latent occult potential in individuals (both negative and positive), psychic abilities, the deep astral levels that initiates can contact and explore consciously, rejection or rebellion against the established order ,mysticism, conflictual elements buried in the psyche and projected onto others, discovery of profound values and bringing what is hidden to the surface, initiatory soul-to-soul relationships, the deep centre where personal and impersonal experiences merge.

When expressed maturely, BML opens us to purge negative desires and leads us to the deeper truth of our hearts and the passion of our souls by learning to let go and surrender to the part of ourselves which is primal and wild and revealing of profound inner truths. When manifesting in a less mature way, BML is not owned, but the negative parts of ourselves are projected as intolerant black or white thinking, rage, jealousy, self-righteous behaviour arising from unacknowledged inner conflict, violence justified through promoting “causes”, irrational behaviour, emotional instability, intolerance for other people’s views, aggressive opinions, feral feminine behaviour, revenge, cruelty, hatred, rage, lashing out due to inferiority complexes and feelings of rejection, verbal abuse, “taking people down”, toxic emotions, bitterness, taking pride in being harsh, dark psychic/occult practices.

Of course, later in history the myth was twisted and perverted and they made Lilith into someone who kills babies and terrorizes men in their sleep...I think that was their attempt at demonizing the concept of a strong woman because they wanted to discourage the female population from becoming inspired by Lilith and starting to speak up for themselves in their own lives and see themselves as equal to men.

That's what Lilith has given me. It's made me really strong-minded and not afraid to stand up for myself and be true to myself and go against the crowd.

When it comes to interacting with other people, it hasn't manifested as me projecting, but more as being projected onto alot, particularly by other women. I've lost count of how many times I've been ambushed and verbally attacked by women who are total strangers to me and that I'd never spoken to before that point.There's something about having strong Lilith energy that can sometimes make people immediately assume the absolute worst about you even if they don't even know you; or, they project their own unacknowledged dark side onto you.

I don't think Lilith is necessarily negative, but I do think it is quite dark in the sense that it (astrologically) represents the shadow side as it is the void or empty focus of the moon. It is interesting that you experience it (the negative effects anyway) as being projected on to you.

Does Lilith asteroid also fall in to your Lilith corridor as that may account for your strong need for independence and ability to stand up for yourself in the face of opposition on a social level? I don't even think she's anyone's shadow side or negative in any way and that the modern perception of her as such is purely the result of men in the past intentionally perverting the story and character-assassinating her for their own purposes - that basically, they were afraid women would hear the story, get inspired, stop taking **** off of men, and get 'uppity'.

No, you completely misunderstood what I was saying looool. What I'm saying is that people with a strong Lilith just attact that energy to them, period - no matter what. In every instance where I'm attacked like that by women, I literally did nothing or said anything to trigger that response in them in the first place, because I actually didn't even know any of them existed to begin with.

How can you ruffle the feathers of and p1ss off someone that you never met, never spoke to and didn't even know? But that's just strong Lilith energy for you - it turns you into that little kid on the playground who never bothers anybody but keeps getting ganged up on by the rest of the kids. At first it used to freak me out but now I know what causes it (I actually have a few factors for that kind of thing in my chart - complete with Mars-Pluto, which can make people target you and try to make you their victim), and now I know that to some extent I should just expect this type of thing from people and I've learned coping skills and how to defend myself when necessary, accordingly.

Anglerfish - my Lilith Corridor is pretty small too, but believe it or not I've heard of some way smaller.

Its the same meaning for men and women. (The asteroid is more about the Lilith/feminist social issues, the BML is more about the inner void, the primal part of yourself that feels alienated/isolated).
If the corridor is wide, from what I can understand - it means that you are likely to be able to access your primal/hidden/shadow/profound/taboo qualities using a more balanced and moderate approach than someone who has a narrow corridor ( gotta admit I am one of the "narrow" people too! eek.). However, with a wider corridor, there is more likelihood of a planet falling in the zone which will be influenced by that Lilith energy.

Mine is at the beginning of Scorpio and on the Descendant - so I experience the energy through my relationships, but mostly on an inner level.

of way. If he does not, he will be stopped. The process will take
place many times in his life, and each change will be drastic and

Mine is also in the 12th, 6-7deg from my pluto, and square my merc(aqu) and orcus( Leo). Orcus is like a second pluto.

I love the way so many astrologers stereotype Scorpio in the most negative way possible. I've read horror stories of people going in to get their chart read, and then being told that they were a murderer and all kinds of other really sick things in their last life, just because they have a lot of Scorpio activity in their chart...

When I read and hear stuff like that coming from astrologers, I just wind up thinking they went into the wrong field because they have no idea what the hell they're talking about.

As far as the actual Lilith in Scorpio situation goes though, I've read worse - stuff about us being sexual succubi (which is hilarious because I'm actually a virgin), so on and so forth. It's just a lot of nonsense and ignorance.

At any rate, there's been a lot of really great threads on Lilith over at the Astrodienst forums, some of them specifically about the Lilith Corridor. Contrary to what you might think, a small corridor is actually a GOOD thing and a gift to some extent, is what I came away from those conversations with, although the exact specifics I can't remember, which is why I'm running a search there now.

BTW, I don't tnink a narrow BML is evil! Like all astrological elements, it is an energy - neutral in itself, but can be experienced positively or negatively. I like my Lilith too (now anyway - although I struggled when I was younger). However, my experience of BML is much less focused on the world at large than yours, mine being on DC not MC, so it plays out attracting some very intense and "different" relationships which I would not change for the world.

Remember, the MC along with the descendant is, to some extent, how other perceive YOU. So others perceive me in a Lilithian way and then act...out...loool...accordingly.
