Is there a better place for people to discuss transits? I can't believe no one is interested in this Pluto transit!

I'm about to have the conjunction, i think the square would be less bad.

Thanks for responding, Anglerfish, I almost missed your post! I hope the conjunction treats you better than you're anticipating. Do you have an idea of what might be about or are you still in the dark?
And thanks a million for responding! I thought my post was echoing in empty space!!!

you're probably just going to have a lot of your ideas challenged. it's not necessarily bad if you can just go with the flow and allow yourself to have an open mind.

Well, that wouldn't be possible since it's a looooooooong transit as you know what with Pluto going rx a few times over 3X and I am even afraid to look at the ephemeris and check if I'm over the hill yet...
But I'm an Aqua rising and so I bet that's more than "ideas challenged". If it is as simple as that, it's not a problem at all for me; I make my living by challenging ideas! LOL

Uranus/Pluto has two forces that want to implement change, Uranus to break new ground, going for something different just for the sake of it being new, and Pluto to tear out what is not working, connected to the houses they rule and where they are placed, signs, etc.

I'm not going through that one for at least 15 yrs.

But you may have to say to hell with sanity and just go with it re: whatever needs restructuring in those areas. Neither Uranus or Pluto are rational. I guess it's a good time to bust out of a rut and reclaim your own identity, if you've been slaving away and selling yourself short somewhere it's a good time to step out on your own and say this is me and what I want and to hell with what you think I'm made of.

I should add that the square is an internal build up of tension and you could end up forcing your personal cause a bit harder than you need to, maybe pulling the rug out from underneath when all you needed to do was rearrange furniture that was sitting on it, or take away and add some new pieces. But the thing with hard Uranus aspect is that you usually want to go whole hog and anything less feels like you're being untrue to yourself which if you have a strong Uranus you know that that is one of the worst, most unbearable feelings in the world.

Thanks, Lonake.
Well, Pluto has been transiting for a while in my 11th and will sq N Uranus in the 8th.
My Uranus is well-behaved most of the time. I guess others can't get me but I don't really care (most of the times). The problem is that Pluto has already destroyed my life as I have known it the last 20yrs (no exaggeration; lost job, career, home, belongings, life, income, independence, friendship, love, joy... you name it it's gone). My current Nept sq's have added to the aforementioned demolition. I have no idea what else is left and I pray it is about time to build again. I really don't think I can take any more pain. Simple as that. So I'm asking if there is a teeny tiny possibility somewhere that this Pl Ur sq is not all that bad for a change.

What house is Pluto in natally and what house does it rule, and also what aspects does it make in the natal?
You have to look at what Uranus means in your chart, by looking at the aforementioned factors, and also what Pluto means for you, same factors. That will define this transit for you.

But I'm really curious about Pluto because of what happened tho I don't think it was acting alone, it prob had 'help' from other progressions and solar arcs you were under.

(Btw I have posted my chart on the Know Two Are Alike and elsewhere boards in case you're curious)

N Pluto is in 8th house Virgo.
N Uranus in 8th house Libra.
N Pluto rules my 10th house cusp in Scorpio.
N Pluto sextile MC/Sun/Neptune in my 10th house stellium.
N Pluto trine my Moon in Taurus.
N Pluto in Virgo opposes my NN in Pisces.

Yes, Pluto I believe had help from Mars and Saturn. When T Pluto sq'ed N Pluto, T Mars and T Nept were opposite N Pluto. What happened involved violence (I was assaulted by a Pisces ex), a very extreme event given my life (I'm adventurous but was never involved in such episodes, had to deal with police, courts, etc.).
Had to add that I got a promotion too during that time (of T Pl sq N Pl) and had to move across the atlantic (not for the first time).
My Venus in Scorpio is in the 9th.

PS: Major aspects of N Uranus

Merc sextile Uranus
Mars trine Uranus
Uranus trine ASC

N Uranus rules my 1st house and my chart.

You were born at 12 noon exactly? I use Placidus not equal houses, don't know if that would switch the cusps for you.

Yes, my DOB is documented.
I also use placidus (only did it in equal houses for Ami who asked).
My "analysis" above is based on my chart in placidus.

Well your natal Pluto doesn't make any hard aspects, t.Pluto has been trine n.Saturn. It could be another change connected to career if it rules MC.

"T Mars and T Nept were opposite N Pluto."
---Maybe t.Mars but not t.Neptune.
Something in your chart is not adding up for me. Maybe it's due to the house cusps.

T Pluto will soon square N Uranus. If this is about career, it could be good news as I'm done with bad news (I think!)...

The T Pluto sq N Pluto transit occurred a long time ago (4yrs+ ago) now. T Nept back then was still in my (big) 1st house in Aqua.

I don't know. As I said, I don't do equal houses, I only posted it this way because I was asked to do so. Normally I do placidus and I look at it in placidus. Sorry for the confusion. ;-p

Pluto square Uranus seems to coincide with some crazy weather. Japan had that disaster earlier this year, and east Asia had crazy rain and flash floods this summer. Unprecedented. I've never experienced anything like it before.

I don't have much to contribute regarding the effects of this transit on a personal level, as previous posters seem to have it very thoroughly covered.
