Does anyone have this aspect or any insights to share about it?

I'm coming to realize how important planets conjuncting angles are in a natal chart. They really are quite formative / salient / impossible to ignore!!!

Pluto conjunct anything is pretty powerful enough, as is. The only person I can find with this aspect is Mia Farrow... and well, she, you know, Woody Allen... *tongue tied*

Pretty foreboding! SO. What else is there?!

Similar attracts similar; u may find urself attracted to scorpio-type personalities, but u also embody pretty much the same (de)structive energy, very appeling as possible partner; attracted to people who give everything in love, and u'd be capable of same. Obssesive, violent, stalkerish people; Depending on ur life experience could be that u prejudge people, automatically see them as certain type(bad boys in this case, brooding, troubled, powerful personalities),or u only find these qualities attractive so project them onto new partners. It may seem to u that all ur encounters r fated.

ive got pluto conjunct my descendent!

my plutos in scorpio conjunct venus, so my descendent already has the scorpionic traits just emphasized by pluto. ive come to realize that pluto conjunct my descendent is a pretty powerful placement in my life as well. according to clairvision its my strongest planet becuase of its close conjunction to the descendent.

buuut what ive noticed is that.. its not so much what i seek out in people from a lot of interpretations that i read, its deffinately more about what i project out. and in return the type of people i attract from that. i have a lot of poeple tell me im "magical" or very "mysterious" and all that and i do have a strong attraction to certain people and they to me soo it deffinately feels fated or karmic just becuase of that strong pull or attraction.

i think that having pluto conjunct the descendent can come across as intense, manipulative, and controlling at times with very strong desires emotionally and physically, plus very powerful emotions towards people, especially lovers. when it comes to my relationships.. theres no doubt im all of the above as much as id like to sugar coat it. ive also read that.. its brings a strong charisma with a really strong influential hold over people. aaannnd that it makes a person not one to give up easily. which is sooo true! i never take "no" or an answer or ever give up once ive made up my mind on something, but that could be my taurus rising too haha.

i can feel myself wanting to control my relationships in subtle ways but i dont ever go through with it becuase theres the other side of me that knows i cant and i shouldnt. jealousy is deffinately a major issue and insecurities that extend not only in personal relationships but everyday encounters with people.

This is so fascinating. Is there anybody else with experience regarding this aspect? Anybody who has relocated to this aspect?

I also looked up Mia Farrow's chart, and it says Pluto is in her 4th house. This makes sense given her family life, however the whole Sinatra-Previn-Allen-Roth thing... phew! Amazing how many beautiful women can love terrible yet powerful men. Yowza.

Looking at Mia Farrow's chart, it appears Pluto is conjunct her IC. I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding though, so I'll post about my Pluto conjunct DSC. I have Pluto conjunct Descendant too, like BeholdAstarte. And though my Venus is also in Scorpio, my natal Pluto is in Libra 6th House.

Pluto is one of my more favorably aspected planets:

Pluto is my only Air planet, so is a Singleton
Sextile Sun
Sextile Mars
Semi-Sextile Uranus
Sextile Neptune
Conjunct NN

My experience is similar to how BeholdAstarte describes it. The energy definitely plays a part in what I project (being opposed ASC) and I also find it plays a big part in the non-romantic side of the 7th house. I relate well with others based how deeply we are willing to expose our self to each other (the Libra energy doesn't actually require the act of exposure, just the confidence that unflinching trust exists). This energy is a bit difficult to describe for me, because all the outer planet aspects make it feel a bit otherworldly. I get a lot of insights which are conceptual, psychological, or emotional in nature and are therefore hard to describe. I will often understand the inner workings of something complex, but cant explain the understanding, because I lack the vocabulary or capability to translate the feeling into words. It is as if I can look at something and just kinda feel out how it works. I have always been horrid at math and therefor was unable to advance in scientific education, but I am friends with a couple brilliant guys who understand the ins and outs of quantum theory quite well. These guys have considered me fairly low on the intellectual totem pole, because I am a goofy Sagittarius and subscribe to concepts like astrology. One day I had a bit of a laugh because I was driving in the car with one of my friends and he was telling me about some new discovery in quantum physics. He expressed some frustration however at not understanding how the theory worked, so I asked him to explain what he knew. After he did, I filled in the blanks in normal human terms. He was completely floored that I was not only able to follow the theory, but was able to find the spot he wasn't understanding and explain it.

Another sort of weird thing I attribute to Pluto conjunct DSC, is the ability to follow people's energy. When a person tells me a story, I can feel the energy they give off. Similar to how a blind person is able to smell or hear subtleties in their environment however, I can pick subtle patterns or "flavors" in the energy a person gives off and find all sorts of weird unrelated crap. Someone can tell me a story about a co-worker I have never met, and I can separate the co-worker's energy from the story to analyze on its own. From there I can weed through the pattern and see they act that way because they have a constant pain behind their eye, and it comes from squinting, and the squinting comes from hearing a frustrating sound, and the sound is a baby crying. Then (when I am talking to a close friend) I'll mention the idea that she is stressed from taking care of her kid, and my friend will say something like, "That would make sense, she brought her 8 year old son into work last week and he was bouncing off the walls".

Again, it's a hard energy to explain, but I get a lot of fun out of it. =D

Pluto in the 7th House
By amiann | Published: January 27, 2012 |
The 7th house is the house of relationships. It is opposite the 1st house, which is the self. The chart is balanced, as one must balance the self with “the other”. The 7th house is the house of committed relationships, as in marriage. The 5th house is the house of fast romance, or what we call flings. The 7th house deals with the one and only, for life, devotion. It is the house of the husband/wife devoted relationship with all that entails such as devotion and unending loyalty. As such, Pluto messes things up, you could say. Astrologers tell you it is for your own good, and it is, but it still hurts with a terrible pain and angst, as Pluto breaks down our old structures. When Pluto is in the 7th house, one’s marriages or committed partnerships may be tumultuous. They may not break, but they will come close. Pluto threatens to take what we hold dear. It, only, gives it back, if we release it, paradoxically. Pluto in the 7th will teach you lessons of letting go and free falling, but it will be in the realm of relationships. Can one retain one’s committed relationships, if one has Pluto, here? Yes, of course, but the path will be strewn with debris, but it is one’s own ego. One only thinks it is an assault from the outside.

The 7th House–What Did You Throw Away?
By amiann | Published: January 25, 2012

Look at your 7th house. Find every asteroid and planet within. Study them. Have you cast them off?By cast them, I mean, have you cut them off , from yourself?

The Angles in the Cart Reveal the Direction in Which Your Life Should Move—The DSC—Part Two
By amiann | Published: December 8, 2011 |

The Descendant is the angle directly across from the ASC. It is exactly the same degree in the opposite sign. The DSC is fascinating because it is a kind of a mirror. This mirror does not show us our actual face but that to which we aspire. It is wonderful that there is such a thing. It is almost like a Harry Potter magic mirror. The DSC, also, shows what we want in a partner. The search for a partner is the search for the completion of ourselves. As such, we would we wise to study the sign on the DSC. It will yield much. We can, probably, look at our relationships and see that we have, always, been attracted to people who possessed traits of this sign.It may not be the sun. It may be the moon or another dominant planet. When there are planets conjunct the DSC, we need to embrace the energies of these planets, as well. We will look for these planetary energies in partners. One could say that the 7th house, of which the DSC is the ruler, will hold planets or asteroids which we need to embrace. For example, if Venus is in the 7th house, we may look for someone to give us love, rather than love ourselves. If the moon is in the 7th house, we may look to a partner to be emotional when we may have shut down our emotions. If one has Nessus in the 7th house, one may meet an abuser. If one has Pluto, one may meet a very powerful partner who is in touch with his primal emotions when we are not. The key to the 7th house is to try to embrace every planetary body which resides within, as well as the energy of the sign on the DSC

Pluto in 6th House - cadent
Workaholic. may be a great stickler for routine and discipline, maybe hard on themselves
Health hate to admit to illnesses.
Can make a career over being ill hypochondria.
Obsessed over health. If Pluto is afflicted may suggest bowel problems (Pluto characteristic constipating action in the literal sense)
If lack of fulfillment through work, could overeat or comfort eat

Pluto in 7th House - angular
Deep need for partnerships. May attract strong willed and ¬domineering and/or powerful people in close relationships. Either want to be the controller or want to be dominated by the partner. Can be extreme highs and lows IF badly aspected. If chart ruler also in the 7th house, will want to involve the partner in every facet and decision in your life (If in twelfth house, never discuss or disclose anything to him). Have a strong sense of justice and intense reactions to wrong doings ( Libra naturally rules this house). As business partnerships are concerned, will ¬ be excellent at dealing with the business & money side of the company

I've currently been having an unusual experience with a Leo sun/Aries Asc./Gemini moon/Leo Venus and Virgo Mars and his Pluto conjunct his Descendant. Does he need to control? YES. I actually let him control me mostly in our time together but not all. Why? Hmm I'm a Virgo sun/Cap Asc/Taurus Moon with both Mars and Venus in Leo and I have mars in my 7th house and Leo ruling my 8th (where I have a stellium. lol) I just find that I am in awe of his masculine energy and since I love alpha males, it's really hard for me not to admire his desire to lead. Mind you I don't let him lead me in everything but still, it makes both of us happy for the most part. Unfortunately, we just had a bit of a stop in our daily routine because his moodiness and rudeness at times was getting to be a bit much on me since I tend to blame everything on myself... But yes, I go weak in the knees around this man when he's being the fearless leader. God help me!

I can somewhat relate to this.Especially the part where you described "strong influential hold over people." Ihave my moon / ascedant conjunction and pluto / descdant conjunction, forming an opposition.

I've studied psychology during my college time. I was very interested in understanding myself and other people. I can read people's mind and their motive quite easily compared to an average Joe.

I am not manipulative, but I usually get what I want.

My moon / pluto aspect is one of the prominet plants in my natal chart. BTW, I only have uranus in Scorpio, and my uranus doesn't even have any major aspect with other planets. Yet, i usually attracted Scorpios. I was always the dominant figure in any type of relationship wih a scorpio.
