Where should one look at, in one's chart, for health-issues? The 6th house concerns health but I have no planets in my 6th house. Where else should I look for health-issues?

Sign on the cusp of the sixth, find the ruler and see what it's doing in your chart.

Capricorn being on the 6th points to possible issues with bones, teeth, knees.
The body parts associated with the sign Saturn is in would be the first place to look if your 6th is empty. It doesn't have hard aspects so not likely to cause as much trouble, but that is painting it with a broad brush. Saturn's house would be an area that needs to run smoothly for you if you want to feel like you're on the up and up health-wise. If it's in the 5th look to possible heart issues, 11th circulation, etc.

Also, I seem to remember that chronic illness is 12th. Do you have any planets there?

I was musing earlier today how mutable sun signs seem to be more... frail in terms of health, for lack of a better word. I know that it's an over-generalization and BP, please refrain from commenting on my question, thank you.
What do you think?

hmmm. well from what ive read and learned its the 1st house that has to do with health, and its the 6th house that has to do with illnesses and how you take care of yourself. so they go hand in hand. id look at your rising sign and any planets in the first house as well if you have any.. also the moon and see what your dominant planet is and what it rules health wise.

6th is health, illness and disease, 1st could point to general constitution, so could the Sun. 12th is good for addiction, anything that would require care alongside therapy, padded room-type stuff since it rules institutions (prisons too)..basically anywhere you'd go where they'd have to search you for contraband before admittance and also for extended hospitalization for instance convalescents, old folks homes, clinics, and then just hospitals in general.

I don't have any planets in my 12th house but Cancer falls on the cusp. Funnily enough that you mentioned chronic illnesses. I have diabetes type-1. Where would I look for that in my chart, if I could see where diabetes creeps up in my chart?

what if you have no planets in the 6th? The sign is those two squigly lines, which is aquarius right? What is aquarius rule or what does that mean?

I did my research, as I was sure that I read about the 12th being connected to chronic illnesses, and it kind of makes sense if one considers what chronic illness means - frequent trips to hospitals and/or isolation in one's home. I read it in an old astrology book written by someone in my country, but it was also mentioned in Morinus, so I guess ancient astrologers believed in this.

I agree with Lonake about ruler of the 1st and the sun (I think they are one and the same in your chart), and since we're discussing house rulers, I think you'll find valuable info here: http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/rulersofhousesinhouses.html

I don't quite understand these house rulers scenario ( even the link doesn't help much). When I look at my chart and the 1st house, I see Venus and Mars ( both Virgo) located in it ( conjuncted ). My Sun sign is Libra.

This is getting too complicated just post your chart lmao.
Diabetes is Jupiter, Venus, Libra, Virgo, Mars - according to Rex E. Bills.
I've heard it also being connected to Venus/Jupiter and Venus/Pluto aspects.

With diabetes, the two most important planets in your chart to look at are Venus and the Moon. Venus rules the kidneys, and the Moon rules the pancreas, hence their importance for a diabetic. For a general look at diabetes, here are a few things to look at:

1) At least 2 of the malefics in Libra, a water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces), the 6th house, or the 7th house. In traditional astrology, there are two malefics, Mars and Saturn. In modern astrology, you can add 4 more – Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Ceres.

2) The Moon and/or Venus difficultly aspecting the Sun, Mars, or in a water sign. The Sun rules the self, and Mars rules energy; Mars is also a malefic, and the Sun is a malefic in Vedic astrology. There are many difficult aspects, but the main ones are squares, oppositions, semisquares, sesquiduadrates, and quincunxes.

3) The ruler of the 6th house in the 8th house, or the ruler of the 8th house in the 6th house. The 6th house rules your health.

4) Venus and Jupiter or Moon and Jupiter difficultly aspecting a malefic while a malefic is in the 8th house.

5) Venus and Jupiter difficultly aspecting a malefic when the Ascendant (1st house) is ruled by a malefic.

6) The Moon, Venus, or a malefic in detriment or fall.

There are also things to look for depending on which type of diabetic you are:

TYPE 1

weak or difficultly aspected Venus, North Node, Mars, 5th house or 5th house ruler, or North Node difficultly aspecting Venus and Mars

TYPE 2

weak or difficultly aspected Jupiter, Mars, North Node difficultly aspecting Jupiter and Mars, North Node connected to Jupiter and Mars

I found this but I don't know how much stock you want to put into it.

ASC ruler: Sun in Libra in the 2rd
H2 ruler: Mercury in Libra in the 2nd
H3 ruler: Venus in Virgo in the 1st
IC ruler: Pluto in Libra in the 3rd
H5 ruler: Jupiter in Sagittarius in the 4th
H6 ruler: Saturn in Scorpio in the 3rd
DSC ruler: Uranus in Sagittarius in the 4th
H8 ruler: Neptune in Sagittarius in the 5th
H9 ruler: Mars in Virgo in the 1st
MC ruler: Venus in Virgo in the 1st
H11 ruler: Mercury in Libra in the 2nd
H12 ruler: Moon in Sagittarius in the 5th

So if you see rulers in hard aspect, even conj then you can tell you have extra issues in those areas to work on. Trines and sextiles between house rulers tend to aid the energy either excessively or just naturally, it depends on how you work it.

It seems you have all the factors that Rex E. Bills stated. You have Venus conj Mars in Virgo and they are sq to Jupiter, and also Libra emphasis. None of them are connected to the 6th directly.
However I see an indirect connection and I'm not even sure if this is v.valid (as in if it holds enough weight to warrant any concern otherwise) but I'll put it out there,
---Sun is in Libra, it is ruled by Venus, Venus is in the 1st sq Jupiter. This is strong I guess since you have Sun and 1st house for matters pertaining to general constitution then you also have the aggravation of Venus/Jupiter which I've heard being connected to diabetes.
---ASC ruler is the Sun in Libra which goes back to Venus in the 1st sq Jupiter.
---H6 ruler is Saturn, Saturn is in Scorpio which is ruled by Pluto which is in Libra, Venus rules Libra and it's in the 1st sq Jupiter.
---H12 ruler is the Moon, you have Moon in Sagittarius which is ruled by Jupiter, Jupiter squares Venus in the 1st.

So it seems in a roundabout way it makes sense when you factor in rulers.

Here's a chart of someone who had diabetes, Evil Knievel, AA rated time of birth
(don't know how long the chart will stay up)
Mars Virgo inconj Jupiter, Sun Libra trine Jupiter, the Venus sq Jup looks wide. I'm just looking to see if Rex E. Bills has any merit with this, it's just 2 charts I've seen so I don't know how far to throw that stone. His H6 ruler is the Moon which is opp Jupiter. Moon in Leo ruled by Sun in Libra which trines Jupiter. H12 ruler is Saturn in the 2nd which trines the Moon. Just threw that out there for curiosity's sake. He also has a Venus in Sagittarius which rules his Uranus (ASC ruler) and it's in aspect to Pluto.

My Sun (ASC ruler) is ruled by Neptune in Sagittarius and it squares Uranus in Sagittarius and I have problems with my hips sometimes where I'll be standing or walking fine and then all of a sudden I can't move cos they just lock up, if I move any way even an inch then it will be v.painful so I have to stay in whatever position I'm in for a few mins and then they'll go back to normal. Makes me feel like the tin (wo)man
My legs will sometimes also harden up all of a sudden too and they stay tense for a while, then it dies down. Apparently Sagittarius also rules enteric disorders and with Uranus in the mix I have lots of lil twitches while at rest, muscles all over that do what they want, mostly on my fingers and toes. I also have problems sometimes where I feel v.disconnected from my body as if I'm falling away from the world and I will sometimes lose my vision first and then pass out. Thanks Uranus lol.
