I have a Moon, Merc, Mars in Cancer(stellium),Pluto in scorp in first, and sun in 8th. I have a lot of love for all water signs.I attract alot and am attracted myslef. We understand each other well. All i can say is Air and Water in my life have always been a good mix. Water signs are great friends and lovers to me.

Air+ Water= Intellect+Intuition= is a good mix, dont let anybody else tell you otherwise. Go with what you think and feel

I always attract Air signs as friends, too - Aquarius specifically. Which actually works out despite being a Leo - possibly because both my ascendant and south node are in the sign.

I have pluto in the 1st too, but i never really like any scorpios i meet. Some creep me out, others seem like sweethearts, but still bother me on some other level. They seem too serious. I've never been close friends with a scorpio. Oh wait, there was one. But he was so ...confusing... sometimes. I just failed to grasp which direction his mind was headed, or what the point of what he was talking about really was even. I thought he was too mushy, sentimental, and irrational. I've never been close friends with a pisces either...we try it, and then for some reason we drift. They're sweet, but the mental connection isn't there. I've been close friends with a few cancers before though. I've enjoyed that. But even though the intellectual stimulation was definitely a lot more there than with the other water signs, it still wasnt completely there, and i need a lot of that. I often wondered why they acted they way they do lol not kidding, and my reaction was kinda just like "...okay." I always thought other water signs were kind of "weird." Just don't understand how their minds work. I have a much easier time connecting with virgos and very rarely, a capricorn. I really understand virgos completely, actually. But even though i've never been close friends with one, i am always romantically attracted to them, and i do feel close to them romantically. But they seem to like talking, words, and playing with humor a lot more, so i think that's why, and i definitely find them very expressive.
I think the thing is virgos are very cautious when it comes to picking friends, but i'm guessing where love is concerned, it pulls on their heartstrings more, so they try to get closer faster. I usually get along with leo and sag too, but only aries women, not the men.

But i love my air signs . We connect with facial expressions, too. Like, we're always making expressions at each other. I dont find u guys cold or unemotional at all---not even at first glance. If anything, i find other signs cold and inexpressive. And leos and aries are a bit too arrogant/full of themselves at times, and expect me to follow their lead too much.

Unless you're a Air/Water person elementally, I think it's very actually difficult to maintain connections with incompatible elements. I have NEVER had an issue with Fire signs and NEVER had an issue with Air signs because I'm all Air/Fire. But I've had horrible experiences with friends who were incompatible. It always ended horribly. And I respect all the signs of the zodiac but you just can't be friends with everyone especially if the friendship isn't flowing equally where everyone is allowed to be themselves. But that's just my experience.

I guess the reason why i dont get along that well with taurus, scorpio, aqua, or leo is because i have lots of leo, and besides the other square/opp signs....you know how they say two leos could never share the limelight? Well, that's def true for me it seems. Ugh, they are so arrogant, self-centered, eek. It's all about them. And i hate their remarks about how awesome they are. I am drawn to them in a way but also feel overpowered by them, like we will never be equals, and like they take everything too personally.

I guess the reason why
