Just a thought about HOW to heal the Chiron wound. I have it in the 3rd house.I lost my voice and freedom of expression of who I was, as a child.

To heal the Chiron wound, you must take what is in that house and use it.

Does that make sense.I read that Chiron is more dependent on house than sign cuz it is generational, to a degree.

Any thoughts?

I think the generational placements do play a role. For instance, Taurus Chirons seem to question their self-worth (in the 3rd house, this may translate to their feeling that they were not heard because their words/ideas have no worth/value) while Gemini Chirons seem to be insecure about their intellect (in the 3rd house, they would feel that they were not heard because they're idiots). However, I do agree that regardless of HOW one was wounded and HOW it will play out, the personal house placement will tell of the ultimate outcome. Taurus Chiron may use the "A picture is worth a thousand words" approach to be heard and use non-verbal modes of expression in their quest to heal their (unhealable?) wound as well as to heal others. Gemini Chiron would perhaps take classes and earn certificates in order to prove their intellect and thus be worth listening to. Regardless of approach, both of them are on a lifelong quest to make others listen.

I'm not quite sure how planets occupying the same house as Chiron would play out. Wouldn't that be painful? I don't know, because my Chiron is all alone in my 8th. However, I have seen planets aspecting Chiron play roles in attempts to heal the wound. This one guy with Jupiter trine his 3rd house Taurus Chiron wants to not only be heard, but to be heard all over the world. But not through words - through music, which he sees as the universal language that transcends mere words.

Personally, I feel that the Chiron wound is not healable, because Chiron himself was never healed while he lived. Even if the wound can be soothed, it will always exist and can always be triggered again. Others can benefit from your Chiron when their planets make contact with it. The benefit you derive from that is the joy of knowing that you helped someone else overcome an issue, even if you yourself cannot. Selflessness. Isn't that what pure love is though?

Hi Cap
Great answer. Well, i read in one place that the Chiron wound could be healed, but I tend to agree with you, I guess, based on the myth.
For me, when I express myself, I feel whole and happy.
It is my personal place of happiness. It can be through any means of expression, a feeling, music, humor, anything. It just has to be true to my heart and my soul.
Then,I feel life is worth living.

Hi Ami,
I have a feeling you are absolutely correct in your thesis. I have to check my chart to see how it applies to me and I have a hunch chiron placement plays a large part in relationshipal compatibility more so than is thought in conventional astrology. I've been wanting to disect that niche for years now after noticing it in certain couples charts just haven't got around to it. I'll get back asap with my ideas. BTW I noticed I got sidetracked on your looking at my chart last summer sorry didnt mean to be rude just so much crazy stuff happened all at once And I'm still in over my head just its critical I act now. Well I'll dig it up and maybe we can continue if your okay with it and can sqweeze it in? Thanks again thanks much I apprecciate it.

Ah. Well, it's great to know that the Chiron wound doesn't have to mean lifelong pain. It almost sounds as if you derive comfort from yours. Do you have any aspects to your Chiron?

I guess I'm under the impression that it's unhealable because I'm so not comfortable with my own 8th house Chiron. I suppose the square from 11th house Jupiter may contribute to that. It's kind of hard to be intimate and share resources/innermost feelings with an expansive impersonal group, haha.

Cap

My Chiron trines Venus but I derive comfort from pushing through it to the other side, not it,by itself.

My Venus is unaspected.Chiron is not supposed to count.I never thought about how the trine to Venus would effect me.
Any ideas?

I had to chuckle upon reading this one!
My Chiron is in the 2nd house which is in trine with my 10th house stellium planets.
However, look how this plays right now. I have T Uranus exactly conjunct to my Chiron and trine my Sun/Merc/Nept/MC. T Nept at the same time squares my 10th house stellium. The Neptune square basically eliminates the power (trine) of my stellium over my old wounds. Uranus plays on this right now by empowering my stellium while activating my Chiron. To sum it up, this manifests as me making lemons out of lemonade... Hope this makes sense.

Venus trining chiron ought to be good news, right? To find your voice, you will be offered help by Venusian goals/achievements in life. So love and money can help heal your chiron wounds.

You're welcome, Ami!
I haven't seen your chart to say the state of your Venus. Does she get support? That support (to your Venus) might be key for healing your Chiron as well.

It is unaspected, Anon girl. It is a Gemini Venus in the 7th house with Taurus on the cusp.
It makes a semi-sextile to the moon.

How does this factor in to your thinking?

I wonder if it's a singleton.
Venus in Taurus is pretty cool (i.e. pretty powerful)!
Are you artistic by any chance? This Gem in Venus might like poetry, literature, do you write?
Perhaps you could heal your Chiron by writing, keeping a journal.

Have you tried to use writing as a means of self-expression?
