My closest friend and I are both Taurus moons, I've known him for nearly 20 years & we have always been there to help each other even at 10 minutes notice.All my life my best friends have been Taureans of some kind. Do shared moonsigns have an affinity? IP: Logged |

Well for sure, moon signs may have an affinity, I mean, they're key in synastry, right? Fer me, my closest friends' moon signs are: Aries-Taurus, Cancer, Leo, Virgo and Scorpio. I have a Capricorn moon. Helpful, I hope...?IP: Logged |

Well..my closest friends & people I naturally hit it off with have been...Leo moons
Scorpio moons
Capricorn moons
Aquarius moons (although I argue with them a lot)
Sagittarius moons (my own placement)
I think it makes sense that I get along with fire moons because they are trine my moon (by sign at least) and my mother, brother, and sister all have fire moons. I'm used to that energy.
Scorpio & Capricorn moons make sense too because I am a Capricorn sun with Scorpio ASC and Venus. Sun/ASC-moon and Venus-moon connections (conjunctions and trines imo) between people tend to work out because of the familiarity and resemblence between the two people. Aquarius moons...well my dad has this placement, and I am used to Aquarian energy through him and through my own IC being Aquarius and having a lot of hard Saturn/Uranus aspects especially to my own Moon.
Basically I think if you are 'familiar' with a certain sign's influence then you are going to get along well with others who have that moon sign or energy.

As an Aquarius moon, I seem to have the best, most intuitive connections with Libra moons (they fall into my 1st house) and Sagittarius moons (which fall into my 3rd/IC)IP: Logged |

Well to narrow it down, I feel most natural, most at ease, around the Virgo moon and Aries-Taurus moon (technically Taurus, but I believe in narrow cusps). How 'bout dat? D: IP: Logged |

I havent noticed a connection with a specific moon..
What I notice is all my friends have something in Aqua.. Usually Mars..
Probably my Uranus in H7 attracting these friends.
I have 3 friends that I consider really good friends

My friends Moons usually fall either into my 7th, conj my ASC or conj my MC. Also in same sign as my Sun is another popular one. Not often are they in same sign as my Moon, but it happens.

I'm a Virgo MoonTaurus/Gemini Moon - (my best best friend, she IS me)
Leo Moon - My oldest family friend who has now become a best friend
Taurus/Gemini Moon - my...third...best friend. Both of my taurus moon friends have moons that are like mine, that are at least at 26 degrees, so that the gemini sometimes come out in them.
Then I've got about 3 Libra moons who I have been extremely close with at various points in my life. This has been discussed before, but all my friends have mercury in an air sign. IP: Logged |

Aries/Gemini moon.I believe in moon cusps (astrology isn't cut & dry anyways). All of my friends and people who were close to me had either a fire sign or air sign for their moon sign (exception being cancer or virgo moon, but they were always some kind of nurturing or caretaker role), particularly Aries, Gemini, Libra, Aquarius and Sagittarius. My closest friend since we were kids is a Capricorn moon.
