I was thinking the other day about the different decans of Sun signs (or moon) and how they affect us and our relationships with others, i.e. Capricorn A with a Virgo C? Anyone who is knowledgeable on decans and the different influences that come into to play who can lighten this up for me?

I'm not sure about the influence of decans with earths signs because I'm Air/Fire dominant however in my experience more things should be taken into consideration. I don't think decans have that great of an effect on compatibility however I think they might point to other things that could cause disharmony. For example I'm a Libra born under the Libra/Venus Decan and I had a significant relationship with a Leo under the Leo/Sun decan. You'd think it'd be perfect, except he was on the cusp of Leo and I'm not on the cusp of Libra. He had heavy water placements that created an imbalance. Most notably his Mercury was in Cancer and my Mercury is in Libra. We had horrible communication. He wanted me to read his mind and I wanted him to say what he felt. You can choose to simply focus on the effects of decans, but my advice is there are bigger things going on that influence compatibility beyond decans. This is all just my perspective.

i would think the reason why say air decans in the first decan would be more compatable because they would actually be aspecting each other versus a first decan air with a third decan air doesnt make any positive aspect but for the most part still compatable
