We astrologers all talk till we're blue in the face about the Uranus/Pluto Square. But I see the effects of Jupiter in Taurus so strongly. Jupiter is in the back, floating along, looking for meaning in everything. He wants to know why and leaves no stone unturned.
I think that Jupiter in our natal charts shows:
*How and where we find meaning
*What our experiences in life and relationships have taught us we need to do or be in order to be successful
*And how we grow and expand in a particular area of life
Jupiter in Taurus is asking us to evaluate what is valuable to us. What is a resource? What do we do with our resources? Do we have enough of our resources?
The trines he is making with Pluto in Capricorn show that this portion of the revolution is focused on money. More than that, it shows that our awareness of what a resource is rather limited. Money seems to be the only thing we value... over the environment, over love and family, over order and the greater good of all, and over our on personal wellbeing.
Maybe by the end of Jupiter's tenure in Taurus, we will have EXPANDED the meaning of what a resource is in our lives. I think we will have no choice, that is if we want to learn the deeper lesson....
Jupiter in Taurus says: My experiences in life and relationships teach me that I am successful when I have material stability and access to all of the resources I need to make it so. I am successful when I am in touch with with the sensual side of life. I am growing and expanding when I have ENOUGH food, closthes and all of the things that make my physical existence COMFORTABLE...
Maybe once Jupiter moves into Gemini, he will be cooperating with Uranus and we will start to think about education and our freedoms there. He'll argue with Neptune for a second but so be it...
What are you thoughts? Have you been learning your Jupiter in Taurus lessons?
