Well a few years ago before i met my fiance,I was involved with a Aries man in one of the most frustrating relationship ever.

From the start we were both very attracted to each other and he made every attempt to flirt with me,and lead me on into thinking he had very strong feelings.All our friends even saw it ,and wondered what kept him from stalling with going further with me.Our "limbo" of a relationship kept this pace for about a year straight,until i thought i was beggining to fall for him hard,based on all his compliments and the way he made me feel with all his flattery.We remained just friends through all of this,though talked every day,while he basically told me i was beautiful and funny,understood him better than any girl,and he could see himself with me etc.The compliments would melt my heart and give me goosebumps.I mean really,a Casanova with words.

When i finally expressed strong interest in him myself..he said his heart belonged to another woman,who left him,and he was hoping she'd come back into his life someday.He had actually said "she has tattooed my heart" So broken hearted as i was,i backed off and remained a friend,though grew distant with him.

I met my fiance shortly after and I than knew what real love was all about,my feelings for the Aries couldn't compare one bit to what i feel for my Pisces and everything i felt for my Pisces was reciprocated.My Pisces showed more action and pursued me stronger and furiously and snatched me up in a just a few weeks,more than the Aries did in a whole year.About 3 months into my relationship with my Pisces,the Aries man resurfaced (we had not spoke in about 5 months ) and told me he would be in my home town and asked if we could meet,and go on a date..I kindly told him i was in a relationship and he hung up the phone.He sent me a email shortly after with a card attached telling me he missed me and he was sorry we had lost our friendship and wished he would have handled it better,I replied saying i never felt we lost it...no answer to my email for 3 years.

I messaged him a few weeks ago asking why he never replied,a month passed and he replied..saying nothing but "that card is I dont know how many years old" and "I don't check this email account normally,i found your email by chance"

I replied and asked if he was well after all these years,and...no reply for a week now.I dont intend on getting a reply,but i wonder..does it sound like he is mad at me? or feel sore because he lost his chance with me?

Is it typical for a Aries male to show so much interest,but back off when you show interest? and only want you when you are unavailable?

Men who have Mars in Aries/Capricorn or Scorpio are most likely to strongly pursue - in their own individual styles. Venus in either Taurus or Scorpio can also show a steady flow of never-ending emotion and undying love.

:edit: Actually, I'll also add Sun or Moon in Taurus/Scorpio/Capricorn or Cancer - to the list of 'steady' lovers who know what they want.

Venus in scorps are only committed based on conditions.

And yes it is pretty characteristic of Aries. Aries like the chase afterall =) thus would pursue and enjoy that process.

Mars in fire signs like the chase, they're more forward with it compared to other signs.

I have an aries rising, my pluto is in 8th house (scorpy), my sun sextiles my pluto by 1 degree, I have my sun trining my neptune by like 1 degree as well. I have sun conjunct mars lol and if you're aware of asteriods, I have eros square psyche (1 degree)

I like intensity, but at the same time I think I'd prefer somebody more laid back and happy go lucky? That's why I would prefer a venus in libra, sag etc. Can't help it, I got an fire asc haha and too much air. But my virgo sun and mars wants substance too so it's hard to find that balance really.

Sometimes I just think if my whole chart was fire and air it'd be easier to find a really compatible person. Too bad for me I got an aries rising, virgo sun and mars and libra moon, venus and mercury. So cancers and cappys just ultimately clash with me =/ though you would think they would be good with me if you're just looking at my sun sign.

and I have done this sort of mistakes many times in my life when i was with someone but i just did not feel anything for them, i did want to, but i could not. I don't know its Mars or its Moon, but it happens and happened to me. I did let down people because i was Fiercely and stupiditely loyal to a person who wasn't even in sight. I however did maintain a sweet friendship which could manifest into something more with many people. Let me get this straight, If he did not tell you for one year that he loves you, if he did not got you hooked into a relationship within a week, hardly ever, within a month, trust me he's not interested.

Now why he sent you that email, because he genuinely misses you as a friend. he is regretting that why he lost you and your precious friendship. You are supposed to see his point that he wanted you to be there forever, why you demanded something he couldn't give? Can't you see he is loyal to someone else..
these are his points, i tell you because i have everything he has, and i totally understand where he stands. He does miss you, and why he never replied you, he is fooling himself that he is over you. he will reply you in few months, he will actually send you a long sentimental emotional sensitive email/message, and at that time if you be rude or harsh to him, he will give a damn and move on. But he will try atleast once more. Grab that chance, be his friend if there is anything you want to be, i feel like he needs you, he just can't understand his own emotions, Taurus Moon is not easy.I don't understand my own feelings.plus I'm sure he has Mars square his Moon, which is even hard.which makes him go back and forth on things.
