I've always felt that my instincts or emotions (reactions before thinking, etc) were more like my Sun and the place where I get my motivations and drive, the place I find fulfillment is my moon.

My Sun is in the beginning of Cancer at the end of the 9th
and my Moon in in the beginning of Sagittarius near the beginning of the 3rd.

I was wondering, because Cancer rules the moon, or because my moon sign rules the house of my Sun, is that why I relate better to or through my moon?

I guess I'm more comfortable with my moon than my Sun and I feel like it's easier so that's characteristic of the moon, isn't it?

You have a beautiful thing going on here: Your Sun in Cancer is dominated by the Moon (Moon is the ruler of Cancer).
Your Moon in Sag is dominated by Jupiter (Jup is the ruler of Sag) in the 3rd house opposite the house of Jupiter/Sag (9th house).
So this gives a natural boost to your Moon over your Sun.
Where is your natal Jupiter (what house and sign)?
