This thread is mainly to gain more information about myself and/or my wife as individuals. I am totally new to astrology and so please assume I know nothing.

Another important thing to note is that this Venus/Uranus conjunction falls into your 7th house (the house of partnerships and marriage) at 10 degrees of Virgo. You were born with Uranus in your 7th house so in a way you were destined to have an usual and sudden marriage…. The when you met her with her Venus exactly on your Uranus it ‘set off’ this placement in your chart.

Also, in her chart Venus is the ruler of her 5th house (the house of romance and fun). So when you came along with your 7th house Uranus and exactly conjuncted her Venus, my guess is she fell for you very fast, and that it was a very exciting time for both of you…. Lots of radical changes, intense affection, and a strong mental interest/fascination with each other.

By the time she met me, she had a multitude of boyfriends wanting to marry her. When we discussed a life together, she displayed five diamond engagement rings in front of me, telling me that although I didn't have a ring yet because I was too broke (vs. a guy with a yacht and a Rolls Royce), she wasn't going to say yes to the poor other five guys. I eventually met and now know four of them!

Yeah. Another impetus for the fast consummation. There was sort of an imbalance in needs. Notwithstanding her profession then and her popularity with men, she was also untouched. In the three months prior to marriage, I didn't so much as kiss her very gently, even while sharing the same bed for two months and wanting to be absolutely faithful. I didn't even touch myself to fulfill my physical needs and I refused to engage in fantasy thoughts, and it was driving me bonkers. She had never shared a bed with a man before, and she slept only in her underwear by habit. I would spend many sleepless and frustrated nights. lol That was after a series of "let's get it on" partners and typical bachelor behavior. By the time marriage occurred, I felt like a renewed virgin myself lol

When looking at the charts of marriage partners I look and three different astrological houses…. these show the different types of attraction that occur between people.

These three different houses are…

For romance and that ‘in-love’ feeling I look at each partner’s 5th house (romance and fun).

For sweet likening and friendly affection I look at each partner’s 7th house (marriage and partnership)

And for intimacy, feeling close physically and emotionally I look at each partner’s 8th house (deep emotional connection/physical intimacy).

Then I compare how the two people’s chart’s influence each other with regard to these houses.

THE 7TH HOUSE OF MARRAGE AND PARTNERSHIP

Starting with the 7th house, I can see by your synastry that both of you do just like each other as people very much, and that you are pretty good friends. She has 5 planets in Virgo in your 7th house…including her Venus/Jupiter conjunction (she is naturally a very warm person) and her Mercury…. So she is very affectionate towards you in the relationship (Venus/Jupiter), and like Lonake said, her beauty and warmth just shines out and attracts you. And she usually feels free to communicate her thoughts to you (Mercury). In fact, her Mercury is exactly conjunct your Dsc (7th house cusp), and trining your Sun which makes this connection very important… you likely are able to really appreciate how well the two of you can talk on things. And since both of you have a Gemini Moon, communication is Very important for you both.

THE 5TH HOUSE OF ROMANCE AND FUN

Next looking at both of your 5th houses I can see the romantic connection between the two of you. Firstly, as I already mentioned, her 5th house ruler is conjunct your Uranus in your 7th house… this makes you very interesting and exciting to her on a romantic level. She has Neptune in the 5th house. Neptune is the planet that rules Pisces… So it is interesting that you have a Pisces Asc… you Pisces Asc (how you present yourself outwardly) is another part of what makes you her romantic type… she likes your compassionate and caring nature. For what it's worth (probably nothing), my 8th is Libra, which is in her 5th, and her 8th is Capricorn, which is my Sun and Mars. I'm sure my overly-emphasized libido kind of promotes the attraction and sometimes causes consternation hahaha.

Now if only I can get my wife to read this. She doesn't believe in it yet

Another thing that I have noticed is that is when a partner has planets falling into the house ruled/connected to the Dsc sign this is also a significant connection…

For example your Dsc sign is Virgo which means you need a helpful and attentive mate, and someone who will be involved with you in Virgo like matters. Day to day activities, organizing chores together ect.

Virgo is in charge of the 6th house, so a partner who has planets in your sixth house is a benefit to you, and also holds an attraction for you… and her Sun and Mars in Leo fall into your sixth house. Although Virgo is you Dsc Sign, the sign Leo holds an attraction for you as well… she has BOTH the signs Leo and Virgo strong in her chart.

Her Dsc sign is Capricorn, which means she needs a mate she can look up to/respect, and who would also support her with her chosen path in life.

Capricorn is in charge of the 10th house. A partner who has planets in her 10th house would have an appeal to her as they can fit into her life in that Capricorn/10th house kind of way. Her 10th house cusp is Pisces with some of the sign Aries also falling into that house… your Jupiter in Aries (which is conjunct her north node) falls into her 10th house… this shows she respects you opinions, and feels she can look up to you with regards to most morel issues. Although Capricorn is her Dsc sign, the Sign Pisces has an appeal to her as well because it is the sign on her 10th house cusp….. You have many planets in Capricorn and a Pisces Asc (even though your Asc is not in the 10th house, it still has that strong Piscean energy to that resonates to the energy of her Mc).

You can actually use this method with the other love/relationship houses as well.

For example, her 5th house cusp is Libra, and Libra is in charge of the 7th house… so along with planets in Libra, planets in her 7th house cusp sign Capricorn have a romantic type of flavor for her too. Hence you having a lot of planets in Capricorn makes her see you as both partner and lover…

In your case you have the Sign Cancer on the 5th, and Cancer is in charge of the 4th house…. So along with Cancer planets, planets in your 4th house cusp sign Gemini have a romantic appeal to you… she has her Asc in Cancer in your 5th house, and her Moon in Gemini in your 4th house, making her both a source of comfort and a lover for you.

Looking at the 8th house, her 8th house cusp is Capricorn, which again relates to her Mc, same as with her Dsc. One more factor about your synastry that I couldn’t help mentioning is that you Asc signs are trine by degree… yours is 5 degrees of Pisces, and hers 8 degrees of Cancer… this is very good for having a similar outlook on life, and for getting along on a daily basis in terms of how you both express yourselves outwardly.
