Hi AllI've been wondering about the love planets. I have libra mars and venus so I guess am super libran, but how does this work when you look ar another person's chart. Would you look at the energies and compatability of the venus/mars connections or are the sun/moon connections more telling for relationship compatability? I ask this cause I have a good leo friend (with Virgo mars and taurus venus). We connect well on communcation levels and dance latin dances together and connect on our love of music and dance. But he is a leo with pisces moon/scorpio asc so whilst my saggie sun and leo moon/cappie asc connect, there are areas where it doesnt? Apologies if this sounds rambling but am confused about the power of the love planets and what they truly mean? Sparkling IP: Logged |

There are a lot of things to look for, here are some of mine that I like, everyone is different,
--Moon compatibility
--ASC rulers in the same sign or opposite sign or in aspect to each other
--DSC rulers in the same sign or opposite sign or in aspect to each other
--ASC & DSC rulers in the same sign or opposite sign or in aspect to each other
--Nodes falling on an angle
--Conj to either node from the partner's chart
--Angles matching up, ASC conj another's MC for example
--Angular conj, esp personal planets or Jupiter
--Jupiter conj & trines
--One partner filling in another's trine or t square or sq to make it into a Grand Trine/Grand Cross
--Nice aspect exchanges working from the natals, like the lady has Sun trine Mars and the guy is an Aries, or has Sun or Moon in aspect to Mars. Or the man has Venus conj Merc, the lady might have Sun in Gemini.
--One person's progressed personal planets or ASC/DSC conj/trine another's natal personal planets or ASC/DSC, or if there is some configuration formed here either Grand trine or Cross.
--Midpoint conjunctions, Someone's Sun conj your Sun/Moon, composite Sun falling on your Sun/Moon, same for Venus/Mars and others.
There are more but these are the ones that come to mind right now.If you're just talking about Venus/Mars compatibility, then I like when the woman is with someone who is strong in her Venus element as well as the Mars element. So you have em both in Air, I would think you would like men who you have good Mercury/Venus synastry with, men who have Venus on an angle or conj Sun/Moon/Merc/Jupiter. But you can also easily run the opposite and be attracted to Mars dominant men, since both of yours are in Libra. Also the houses where Mars/Venus fall in your chart, Mars in the 9th you could be attracted sexually to Sagittarius/Jupiter types. Looking at just Sun/Moon/ASC you can do, and it's valid but only up to a point. Same for Venus/Mars, it's common to meet someone you have a juicy Venus/Mars aspect and feel nothing sexual for them, zero attraction, cos it's really only 1 factor for attraction, same for Sun/Moon, not the be-all-end-all. Hi LonakeThanks for this! Yes, there is much more to investigate. I am a heavy libran in love relationships (way too pleasing and seek harmomy at the cost of my own feeling sometimes) but find that I do love air type men or those with saggie planets (my venus and mars are in 9th house). I was interested in my leo friend as we have known each other for 4 years but only recently have I begun to realise I may like him a little, (often confuse love and friendship!) as I had a romantic dream with my leo friend so it got me thinking about our connections. Having said that I also met a lovely guy through who work I instantly felt "alive" with, he was an Aquarian so obviously I like this action and air. Sparkling IP: Logged |

I have Libra Mars, people say to me others are interested and I think 'no they're just being nice cos I'm nice.' The Libra curse lol you're right I do find a blur there between the 2 (!) You get to be so charming and see beautiful things in so many people and pretty soon you can't tell what's what (!) I think my Pisces adds to that, also having Neptune H5.
Plus you have 9th emphasis for Venus/Mars which adds idealism.IP: Logged | |
