I like my aries rising. It gives me assertiveness when I need it, passion (without possessiveness), independence, alot of determination when I set my heart on sth, it makes me straight up and honest, it makes me stand up for my beliefs. It makes me affectionate and generous, and gives me strength.I'm not impulsive or aggressive though, not really. My virgo and libra side has toned that down =) If I didn't have an aries rising, I'd love a leo or saggy one. IP: Logged |

My dear friend Nicki has a Gem ASC. We get along great, as I have a Gen Sun, Merc and Venus.
The Gem ASC can be chatty and social in a light way. They could go to a party and flit around from person to person. Gem ASC is fun. They like witty banter. They love words. They love plays on words. They could be fine in a large group, at a party: laughing, dancing or just having fun conversation. Gem ASC may like to talk on the phone, too.
They may have huge amounts of books and know a little about a lot of topics. They are wonderful to talk to, as they are witty and engaging.

And this confuses me! Sometimes (a lot) I like to be by myself, to observe, be a loner and I'm not bothered by it. But sometimes I like to mix and mingle it's just that I can't decide which one I'm more of. I find a Gemini ASC gives me more duality in my life than imaginable. I always attract and am attracted to men who are taken, pairs - not individuals. I see both sides to everything, so I'm middle of the road on nearly everything. It's frustrating to me (and I'm sure other people) because it's so hard to define where others stop and I begin. I feel very fluid although everyone tells me I have absolutely no patience. I HATE talking on the phone, lol! Definitely a bigger texter which kind of makes sense... my Merc is in Aries combined with Gemini rising that's spelling out a straight to the point, no chit-chat kind of person. IP: Logged |

The ASC is one part of the chart, only. The three biggest influences are the Sun, moon and ASC. Astrology is very hard because it, always, must combine many, many factors in to an organic whole!------------------

My Ascendant is in Gemini, which I feel doesn't really fit me right  Though the rest of my chart consists of: Capricorn Sun/Venus/Mars/Uranus/Neptune

The Scorpio ASC has a mysterious feel. It likes to pull back and access the environment before jumping in.It is circumspect. It likes to hold it's cards close to the vest. It likes to feel comfortable before it warms up and gets cozy lol Scorpio is very,very loyal. If you are a friend, Scorpio ASC will throw himself in front of a bus for you. However, when one walks away from a person, the Scorp ASC does not look back, unless the person truly, truly comes back humbly and apologizes for the wrong inflicted on the Scorpio ASC.
