So i was reading up on Houses and I came across somebody mentioning the 8th House, is the house for who/ what signs we attract effortlessly. Has anybody seen this to come true? If so was it just they had a strong influence of the siign or was it the actual sign in the 8th House?.IP: Logged |

interesting....my 8th is in an earth sign and i like earth signs better than most....but i dont think its what we attract, but how we attract------------------
I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

This is interesting but I haven't had it happen myself. Well actually now that I think about it, two exes (both Leos) have had Virgo Ascendants. I don't know if that was more because of my Sun and Mercury in Leo in the 7th or what though. Although I have had Virgo female friends who have had kind of a psycho-stalker, almost homoerotic-like fascination with me...IP: Logged |

my 8th is in Cap...but i'v never had any cap exes, just taurus exes------------------

With how we attract I was thinking that had to do with the 2nd house. Or how we act when we like someone. So 7th house is what we look for in. Potential mates 8th house- how we go about attracting those mates? 5th house-?? 2nd House-?? I understand 11th house to be how we are with groups and friends IP: Logged |

personally i dont think it has to do with houses with what our preferences are, but the planets...i'm a scorpio sun, leo moon....despite what i'v read, i dont like leos....i'v read that scorpio/leo relationships are supposed to work, not for me------------------

Downtomars:Maybe it was the ascendent influence?Unfortunatly in I don't have any planets in 7th house. All I have is 8th house in moon/mars and Venus in 5th. However I had one experience with a girl whose libra was in mars and everything was cool and easy going because of libra ascendent I'm guessing. IP: Logged |

i'v got gem asc, jupiter in cancer, moon in leo, mars, pluto and sun in scorpio, uranus, saturn, venus, and neptune in cap------------------

Lol oh no, I meant I have a libra ascendent and she had a mars in libra. That's a cool chart, so by the signs in your planets would you think your Leo in mars is true to when it comes for lookin for a man/partner. IP: Logged |

oooh ok, makes sense now, lolas far as my moon, no, because it squares my sun...but mars, yea, i do like tall, dark, mysterious men and enjoy dissolving secrets, however i dont think i see anything long term with something like that....just intense passionate nights....well, until i meet that one guy that fits the bill ------------------

i think she would be very spontaneus if she had mars in libra with libra asc, unless it was in the 12th houseand i have venus, neptune and saturn in the 8th ------------------

I have Libra on the cusp of my 8th and I'm a Libra Sun sign. I don't attract Libra's, I attract Leos. Leo is on the cusp of my 7th, and my Venus is in Leo in the 7th. I've never even dated a Libra, but I have been interested in a few, I will say I make friends with Libra's both men and women very easily. But as a woman, Libra Sun men are boring to me because I'm a Libra, I want something different, preferably an Aquarius.  I think it's a mix of planets signs, planetary house placements, and cusp signs that determine what you like and what you attract. IP: Logged |

perzhaon I have Libra on the Asc as well with Taurus on the 8th house cusp. I also have my Sun in the 8th with a YOD that points to my sun. I think the people you like/attract has to do more with whats strong in your particular chart. I have to say that there is no one sign in particular that I attract less. I get love from all the signs and I give all the love back cause of my Libra Asc or course These are some of the sign influences i personally like/dislike to see: Signs i am intimatley involved with that i love-Pisces,Gemini,Libra,Cancer, Sagittarius. Signs that are attracted to me-Scorpio,Virgo,Leo,Aires Sign that is attracted to me but i do not like romantically -Aquarius I admire the Taurus and Capricorn in some of my close girlfriends but have no romantic expereinces as of yet. What about you?

No in my experience it's definitely not true; I have Virgo on the 8th cusp and Libra intercepted in that house. I actually attract Aquarian people. IP: Logged |
