for someone with their north node in eleventh house, supposed to be working on 'friendships' and things of that nature; i can tell you that what i've experienced with so-called 'friends', is ridiculous!a friend of almost 8 years was really needed one day and the friend completely did not even make the effort.. something happened last night where i was in what i thought to be a "friend's" place of business and something bizarre happened and it flooded.. the streets were a mess and my car had been valeted. i look around for the friend? gone.. it's not been the first time with them but what really flipped me out was the fact that the valet ditched the scene because of the water and when the 'friend' showed up to handle business, they not even so much as looked at me. (i was the one to let em know what was happening, btw)..... they hopped in their car with their employees, pretended i wasn't there and drove off to take them home until i called them to ask them 'what the hell'!? they sent their employee to get my key for me and not even so much as a word, an apology or nothing from them.. it was 'take your shoes off and pull your pants up' from the guy who got the key for me. i don't know if i find it insulting that the guy inaccurately guessed that i drove a hyundai. neptune isn't even in my eleventh house yet, not til it gets into pisces again but let me tell you.. i don't know or understand what's happening.. the more these little experiences happen, the less i think about or even care about 'friendships' and think that whole eleventh house b.s. is bologne. I have saturn and pluto in the 11th and yes its hard to find good friends who understand the concept of give and take. I use to have lots of friends and I have gotten rid of of few bc I attract plutonic friends who don't understand the concept of give and take and now I fear making a commitment friendship wise bc of those two best friends I let go of. I get guys easier...I dont think I am ever going to be best friends with a girl again unfortunately!  my guard is up bc of those two experiences.IP: Logged |

The only friend I have had who understands the concept of give and take is a pisces from India who grew up in London. A model, beautiful girl not only inside but out. Didn't have a jealous bone in her, not catty at all and understood the concept of give and take. Her sweet conjunct her sun  . I Love her!Oh and capricorn women are good friends too. Very reliable. You sound like my husband libra sun and moon cancer like you. I am basically his best friend. He doesn't like his family and he doesn't attract the best guy friends either. I protect him from bad friends by pointing out when I think one is taking advantage. There is one friend that I approve of for him and he is this really eccentric aqua we care about but like in small doses LOL. Husband is my best friend, he understands the balance of give and take well. I have libra in 11th cusp so I am sensitive about this balance of give and take in friendships. In relation to your original post, I used to have problems with friendships because I tend to sacrifice my self. I have Neptune in the 11th, I give up a lot for my friends. Thanks to Saturn being in Libra for the past 2 or so years, I've had to clean house my bad relationships and I no longer sacrifice myself within my friendships. I use major discrimination when accepting people into my life.In time I think you'll see the effects of your Node in the 11th. I have Venus in the 7th which is supposedly relationship Gold but I've had horrible relationships. I do see the gifts of Venus in it's own house, I'm incredibly perceptive when it comes to relationships and I have a truck load of experience to share with others about what goes into finding honest and sustainable relationships. In response to your comment about people only wanting you for sex: I've always wanted to believe people were more honorable then that, but I've learned from experience that sometimes they just aren't. Keep to the skies and walk away. They don't deserve your time or friendship if they've got impure intentions and ulterior motives. We all deserve honest and worthwhile friendships, that add meaning and value to our lives. IP: Logged |

Thats very inspiring, Joan.. Thank u for it! I've felt this to a certain extent for a while but last night, that deluge and being in that situation, i thought about the people in hurricane katrina and if that were the case, they would've left me for dead. It was a terrible experience!IP: Logged |

I have always felt that when someone just wants you for sex that is what to me makes someone a sl*t not been with a lot of people but having sex just bc you want to get off period (using the person). To me when you do that you are dehumanizing the person you are having sex with and to me this means that person doesn't love themselves and think they are only good for one thing and are projecting it unto the person they are using for sex. Dehumanizing someone to use them for sex that is what I find appalling and consider slutty.IP: Logged |

I feel the exact same thing, I have Sun in the 11th which is supposed to make people come to me and become friends? well, I still don't consider them as my friends but as what you have just said, friendly acquaintances...I only consider two of these many acquaintances i have to be a 'friend' but still not a 'close' friend.
