I was wondering if there are astro indicators that point to Twinflame or twinsoul relationships.I'm not talking about soulmates but twinsouls because many think they are the same.Twinsoul relationships are complex and fraught with all kinds of obstacles.Has anyone done a study of charts and seen patterns to suggest twinsoul bonding.Venus/Pluto hard aspects are said to be one such indicator but they are commonly found in soulmate and karmic relationships also.IP: Logged |

Just to let you know, most supposed twin flame relationships are soulmate relationships. It's EXTREMELY!! Rare to meet your twin flame. You would have sorted out your karma, be both very very spiritually in tune and apt, and have gone through many lifetimes of lessons to meet them (many lifetimes of learning from soulmate relationships).
Anyway I don't really take the whole venus conjunct pluto that seriously. Pluto moves extremely slow.Usually for soulmate relationships there are angle conjunctions, node aspects to angles/moon/venus/sun/karma, eros conjunct psyche/square psyche with a close orb (within 3 degrees), vertex aspected to an important angle or planet etc. Oh and karma asteriod conjuncting a major planet. Post your synastry chart. I think what you're experiencing is most likely a soulmate relationship. IP: Logged |

There are alot of theories on this.. To bad there's really no way to tell for sure... In my personal opinion, I think they would mirror each other, be the same yet opposite.. (ie the soul, splitting into two different people) I think they would have alot of the same aspects but in opposite signs. maybe even houses...
Ie.
Both would have venus sq pluto
one in cancer the other in Cap
in opposite houses, This type of theme would be seen with several aspects..
When people have the same aspects but in different signs they mirror each other, but during different times. The Asc would be in opposite signs

Seems what you have is a soulmate relationship, going to teach you lessons but prob won't last long term.Your moons square. =/ and moon square venus too. There is a basic difference is the way you express and feel emotions and love. You're going to have conflict bc of that. IP: Logged |

Oooo Ive had moon/neptune before... I was neptune... I felt like the angels dropped this person on earth just for me...
sighhhhh.. It was very deep, and I felt as if I could see the soul of the person... Also very intuitive with each other.

You are right,Lioness, one can never be sure if its a twinflame bond or not.Most people experience it differently.One common thing in such relationships is the huge age-gap and being in other committed relatioships when one meets the twin.So there's kind of push-pull feeling all the time.You want to break off yet you can't because the need to merge with the twin is intense. Yeah see that sounds alot like a karmic relationship... For me, twinsouls would meet when both are available, (because they are destined to be toghether) they both have to be ready for the other, like mintgirl said, there karma would be clear, and thats creating more karma..

It's rare, but it does happen. I'm absolutely certain that an ex of mine is my twinsoul.
I think the part about being spiritually advanced though is a crock of BS because I definitely feel like I still have a ways to go in my personal development (so does he) and we still ended up coming into contact so, in my experience it's absolutely false that you have to be at a certain level of development before that happens. From what I see from your chart, you have your moon square his, and his moon squares your venus. Along with saturn.
I would guess you have met him to learn about saturn issues (it's conjunct the ic) so about repression and breaking free from things.
Not a twinflame relationship, but definitely a soulmate one. You'll learn things from each other. It might be quite painful (lots of soulmate relationships are painful unfortunately) but yeah... gets you one step closer to being spiritually 'whole'This is all from what I've read and learnt. Dont take this the wrong way.. Cause I dont mean it in a bad way... Its called an emotional affair... Your getting your emotional needs met through each other, which is understandable.. I get it.. Been there. ALOT.... lol Anyways, its still creating karma, because your mental focus is on each other and not on your own relationship.. It still has an effect on your relationship... I mental affair has a lot more meaning,than a physical one.. But you have this for a reason, your two probably have some karma to work through with each other, to guide each other maybe... When we have karma with someone, we have to whats right to correct it.. Sometimes thats really hard to do.. Sighhhh...

Dunno why, but I've had an ex that was a soulmate. Now have met another one, and psychics have told me I'll be meeting another soulmate (romantically) like in less than a month...So I'll have to choose btwn the two guys.Why are they coming one after the other? Yes my vertex is in H7... its conjunct my psyche so I feel all my relationships are karmic and soulmate like.. I have pretty intense synastry with everyone I met... But I have Uranus in H7 so I do what I gotta do, then Its all over.. LOL IP: Logged |

True.... I agree... These are our hardest relationships to get a grip on, and to be able to pull away from them.. I hope what I said wasnt offensive, I'm just sharing my knowledge, through my own personal experiences, and what I have learned... (well maybeeee learned)
@Mermaid.. I just met someone 17 years younger than me, he's great...
but at the same time I feel I have to do whats right here.. I have been honest told him I cant give him anything but a friendship, yet I do have the desire to just go with it... I know deep down inside it will only cause some hurt and pain maybe on both ends..
I know its not the right thing to do..
Yet at the same time I debate with myself do I do what's logical or do I go with emotions???

I had that exact same thing with somebody. He could read me like a book which was weird to me because noooo one else could. I'm one of those really freaky examples when it come to this subject matter though, because every guy I've been involved with has either been a twinsoul or a soulmate. Every last one. I think I have some kind of weird soulmate sonar or something... As I told you,we met online but it was not a dating site or any such websites,it was just a penpal site and he has been there since 2006 and me from 2008.Both of us are into penpalling.I'm Gemini rising and Mercury in first house and have a stellium in my 3rd house (uranus,pluto,mars and NN)So I love intellectual exchanges with people.He too has mercury and moon in his 3rd house.Intially when we started exchanging letters like we do with all penpals and there was no physical attraction or any emotional bonding as such but we did have this strange pull but we could not figure out why.We would feel immense satisfaction/bliss just by seeing each others letters even though the actual letters had exchange of mundane matters.That felt strange because both of us write to so many others(we still do)but did not feel this kind of thing with others.Our letter exchange continued like this till sept'10.And then strange things started happening between us.We started dreaming about each other around this time.Real crazy dreams, some emotional,some spiritual but totally out of context with our relationship at that point in time.Dreams like these had never happened to either of us before.This is when I started wondering about our friendship.In fact he was the first one to ask me if I was someone from his past life and if I believed in such things.Btw,he does not believe in Astrology and did not know about twinsouls/soulmates etc.Then we started sharing our dreams and it was uncanny that both of us had dreams of our souls merging.And that is when I started researching into this twinsoul theory and looking into out synastry charts for answers.There was one more peculiar thing I discovered.My entire name is within his name but the alphabets are in reverse order so we did not notice it at first.If I remove all the alphabets of my name he is left with just two alphabets of his.I still get goosebumps everytime I see it.I take it as a sign.Even our birthdates and birth months add upto 11:11 the twin soul number.All these cant be mere coincidences.IP: Logged |

Lol I so know what you mean by the pull. And yeah, the instant bond. It's all part of the whole experience. But like I said, you guys aren't twin flames.
For one thing (out of many) you guys have moon square moon. Twin flames are supposed to be emotionally very similar. You guys feel emotions and love in ways that will rub the other person in the wrong way.My ex and I had amazing! Synastry and composite, but he wasn't my twin flame. Even though we were really similar people (but very different at the same time), had the same upbringing, went through the same issues as a child, he wasn't my twin flame. I also used to dream and used to see repeating numbers (11:11, 12:12, etc) ALL the time. Like there was a period I'd literally see 11:11 at least twice a day! I'd know what he was feeling when I wasn't with him, I'll know what he was thinking etc. It was just unnerving. But yeah. Twin flames are SUPER rare.
