i've had a serious misanthropic period, still now, but i'm trying to really get myself to forgive everyone, myself and get out of this place of bitterness. it's not easy, but i'm proud that i am making the effort to see things differently, and align myself to the good as much as possible.

i'm curious though what is happening with the transit. what makes people be very bitter about others, or/and have experiences that nurture that tendency? i used to be the complete opposite and it's pretty surprising that i became like this.

one suspect is, transit Saturn has been hovering around my NN (in Virgo-ruled Libra, 10th house), it entered within 10 degrees of it when things started escalating, and now it's about to get out of the 10-degree range.

if it's the Saturn, how is it playing out this particular role with NN, anyone else have similar experiences?

or can it be something else? what can i look at in the chart beside Saturn/NN?

anyone know perennial misanthropes, what do they have in their birth chart that makes them that way? can that be applied to transits too?

another one i noticed, which is even a longer transit than the Saturn, is Pluto.

it's finishing up a loooooong transit over my Stellium 1st house, which did kick my butt and i went through a great transformation. for a few years it's been on the very last planet in the Stellium which is Mercury, the ruler of my 7th and 10th house. Mercury is also opposite my chart ruler Jupiter, which is in the 7th house.

could be both Saturn and Pluto hand-in-hand working hard at turning me into a hater.

but both of these transits are about to end. i hope i'll be filled with love again soon.

bumping, i'd be curious to know how it manifests in a chart, and if my observation on mine correlates. if then it means mine is fading into the background as the transits end...

Let me just say this, Darling. I find you need to have a person to whom you can SAY all those feelings and it is OK. People try to push things away without embracing them, first, ime

you are right, Ami. i do need someone. but i don't know how to do it.

i'm still curious though, because there must be a transit that's doing this. what i notice in my chart is aforementioned Saturn and Pluto, and time-frame matches up with the transit period. it would be cool to find out if these transits had similar effects in others' charts. or otherwise there may be other factors rather than, or alongside. It would also be comforting because these particular transits are ending for me.

one thing that's similar to the Pluto transit i have is my mother's natal Pluto in 7th house, opposing Sun in the 1st. she has become a very hateful person who now does not trust anyone. so i'm thinking, maybe Pluto in a stressful aspect with planets relating to the 1st and 7th house?

I am feeling this right now actually. I have T Saturn going over my Moon-Pluto conjunction in the 8th/9th house. It is almost completely over Pluto but still widely conjunct it and it will be completely covering my Moon in a few months.

I will not be free and clear after it passes though because then T Saturn will square my Venus on the DC and my AC. Yay! Good times ahead

Also T Pluto is on the cusp of my 11th/12th house...

I have been feeling depressed and not wanting to talk to people (except anonymously on message boards!). Pluto going through the 11th helped me get rid of toxic friends though so I am grateful. I have this aspect occuring widely now (orb 8) but and a year or so I will have that infamous Pluto sq Pluto that many people fear (although I have heard that people with t-squares will greatly benefit from this, here's hoping)...

These transits are kicking my butt, making me not want to deal with people, not want to be in a relationship. Just when you think a transit has passed it comes to mess you up in some other way...

Okay, I need to look at the positive though, let me go do that...

ok, while you go look for the positive, i just realised (well, i'm sure i saw this before but set it aside in denial... ), but i have Pluto square Pluto coming up... GASP, i thought after the heavy Pluto cleansing through my 1st house Stellium, it was finally going to be over!

T-Saturn is leaving the "problem area" and just entering my 11th house. i'm not too worried of this, it may signify a period where i shred and rework on unnecessary friends and connections and refine my social world, which is much needed. in fact i think i have already being in the phase for a few months now. then Saturn will not make any hard aspects for a long while, thank god.

For this, look to Neptune/Pisces. Helps much. Progressed positions, solar arcs.

thanks for the pointer Lonake.

Natally, Neptune rules my 4th house...

ok, in transit, NN is sitting right on my Neptune which is in my first house and widely cj. my AC. that's interesting.

In progression, Neptune is just at the cusp of my pr. 12th house. so it has been travelling through the 12th house for years and now *about to* progress into the 11th house (in about 1 year or so).

another interesting thing is that the only major aspect to the pr. Uranus is Sextile from Pluto. it's the same in Natal too naturally, because they are slow moving planets, but for example... my friendship structure shifted when i was about 10-11 years old, when a new teacher loathed my autonomy and focused on "fixing" me, and i started falling behind socially. i guess it is safe to say my problems with people roots back to this period. and incidentally, this is just about the same time pr. Neptune entered the progressed 12th house, and exactly at the same time Pisces started ruling my 3rd house in progression.

pr. Pluto has been ruling the pr. 11th house for a long time too. as i said it has always been Sextile Neptune, so it's an interesting "support system" there. i never noticed this! Pluto is now in the pr. 9th house, helping Neptune to evolve as it enters the house it rules, pr. 11th house.

in addition transit Pluto is just finishing up the looooooong journey through my 1st house Stellium, so overall i went through a huge transformation too.

so far i found this much... i've never looked into Solar arc though, don't know how it works.
