What is it about me that I always NEED to have a partner or a lover? At the same time, how is it possible that someone like me can be in a long distance relationship for 4 years (knowing that I need a partner or a lover)?? I've always felt that it was kind of contradicting. But, I've always gone through guys like a short novel. Flip through the pages and when I meet another interesting person, I'll leave and go for that person.

I wouldn't say it's because I want my sense of freedom as much..I think what I really want is a man who knows what he is doing, knows how to get there and is successful, and, at the same time, I will be the strong woman supporting him in the back. I really think that is my ideal relationship. And at the end of the day, he wouldn't have to worry about home, come back to a nice meal.

Passion is nice, but I need someone who is as loyal and committed to me as I am to them. Someone who sees eye-to-eye with me and will team up with me to the road of success and power. (Yes, I love power.)

Given my chart, which type of signs would get along with me well in that way??

You have three planets in libra, this is why you need to be in a relationship. You want to someone to compliment who compliments you.

Hubby libra...he likes for us to be together all the time inspite of him having venus square uranus and uranus in the 7th.

I'm the same way. I also have a Libra Moon. I guy hop all the time. In my case, its Venus square Uranus.

Your Moon square Uranus is a bit wide, though. It could be your Venus conjunct Mercury that makes you seek novelty. Mercury doesn't like to be bored.

Just going on planets placements and placement energies, your dominant Venus and Pluto. I'm a Libra too and we are known for being somewhat fickle when it comes to relationships. That is until we find "the one." Your also dominant Pluto which means you don't just settle for anyone, your looking for something deep, very deep, and authentic and non - superficial. I'm guessing your need to be with someone comes from that Venusian energy, Libra is of course the sign of partnerships. It doesn't help that Pluto wants emotional depth and a transformational experience. My advice is shut down the store that is your dating life. You should probably connect to your individuality. Is there anyone more incredible then you? Probably not, so find comfort with who you are maybe take time away from prospective husband shopping and get to know yourself better. Sometimes we get so desperate for companionship when what we really need to do is take a step back and realize everything we're pinning for is already within us. It's time for some much needed self love, and not the ego kind, the soul kind.

I went through a phase where I was dating like a banshee and pining for a deep connection. But then I went through a massive Saturn transit for a couple years that I'm still going through. It's finally winding down and wow did Saturn rip me a new one, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. As far as I'm concerned I am pretty amazing and I'm going to ride the "Me" boat until I encounter a worthy partner who'd like to ride their "Me" boat down the same river as mine.

I do agree with the guy shopping...but it's hard because I just feel so...incomplete!!!

But perhaps it's good to know myself well first. I think sometimes my standards might be very high also..

Given this sense, would a Capricorn man better suit me in the long run??

I think a Capricorn might be to earthy for you because your dominant Air/Water. Unless of course that's what your looking for. An Aquarius with heavy water, or a Gemini with heavy water might be a better match. Don't under estimate that as a Libra you'll feel more balanced in a relationship with someone who is also elementally balanced, with Air and Water. I'm a Libra and I think we go well with Aquarians. Then again the heart wants what the heart wants and that might be a astrological match up we honestly can't predict.

Why do you feel so incomplete, what are you looking for in another person to complete you? Is it mental, emotional, physical? Just curious .

Mentally stimulating is a VERY important factor. Passion is good ( not just passion in love but passion for what you stand for.)
I need a guy who will lay down his life for something he TRULY believes in and values (having good judgement). A guy who is not afraid to say no and be able to have a back up for his reasonings. It's okay if we argue, but if he goes about the argument logically then I am attracted to that. Infact, I can't stand a relationship that doesn't have arguments or conflicts..maybe I'm just asking for trouble..hahahahhaha. But I see it more like the more obstacles you endure together through a relationship, the more stronger both of us will get.

Another thing is I NEED NEED NEED the guy to be a guy. He has to have power, he has to strive to be financially successful, and successful in the workplace. A guy who is planning his move on how to move up the corporate ladder.

Basically, I need a clever, intelligent and hard working man.

The guy HAS to be steady and stable. Who is willing to do things to help me also (not all the time but I do appreciate help....sometimes though I am VERY hard-headed and tend to push help away..I'm learning to STOP doing that and let people help me for once in my life.) A guy who is sensitive enough to SENSE my feelings/moods without having to necessarily have me talk about them and will take action upon them (more than talking about them) I call this emotionally in-tune with me.

Things that are of less importance than the above:

Physical, well, he can't look like a walrus. Sorry, call me shallow, but he has to have a unique appearance. Normal-looking won't do it for me. Unique appearance doesn't have to mean good looking like Brad Pitt either. I've dated VERY VERY good looking guys before - too bad they aren't half as intelligent or successful.

Romantic is good but actually, I only see that as the surface of relationships. There's no depth in romance, it only sugar coats the surface...nice to have, but I need something ALOT Deeper than that.

After reading all of this, why does it all sound like the traits of a scorpio man? Well.....maybe minus all the secretivity..I don't know

LOL!!!!

It sounds like you're describing a cross between a Scorpio and a Capricorn man. Maybe a Scorpio with heavy Saturn energy or a Capricorn with dominant Pluto. Just remember that the person you truly want to be with has to be balanced in themselves or it will throw you off completely as a Libra. You've definitely got a taste for corporate guys. I really do think you could find your match with an Aquarius or Gemini or even Libra with heavy water to match your emotional depth. It would be a very harmonious match up.

I'm the opposite of you as a Libra I'm dominant Air and Fire and I like unconventional free spirit types. The "lets get in the car drive down to Nicaragua and volunteer for a month, living with the natives and learning ancient knowledge." The kind of guys that can build a fire out of sticks and recite Nietzsche and Kant backwards.

Would looking like a hippo work? Its unique.

I sense my extremely dear friend in confusion/distress and I can offer little solace. This grieves me.

What is it about me that I always NEED to have a partner or a lover?: Taurus DSC, ruler of 7th is Venus conj pluto in scorp in the 1st. Sun/Moon Libra.

"I think what I really want is a man who knows what he is doing, knows how to get there and is successful, and, at the same time, I will be the strong woman supporting him in the back. I really think that is my ideal relationship. And at the end of the day, he wouldn't have to worry about home, come back to a nice meal.

---You have Mars sq Neptune so it's not gonna be all about your Taurus DSC/Venus Scorp re: partner, he's gonna have some difficult Neptune issues he has to deal with. Mars/Neptune is a factor for lacking motivation, stuck in a fantasy world, and Mars is gonna describe your men. Your Sun/Jupiter is gonna make it hard for you to maintain a good balance in relationships, and your guy is gonna reflect that quality back to you. The Sun/Jupiter may be the seesaw you're talking about too, a factor for it, highs and lows, can't get what you want all at the same place, men promising more than they can deliver.
I'd be wary if I had your chart of Pisces/Sagittarius types. A Leo/Aries would be good w.enough Earth and Air to keep your DSC.Mars happy.

I disagree. She already has a habit of "But, I've always gone through guys like a short novel. Flip through the pages and when I meet another interesting person, I'll leave and go for that person." Capricorn men will not appreciate that. If he had Venus in Aquarius he might go for it, but then he might surprise her and leave her suddenly instead.
At the end of the day she may just be in love with herself and her own passionate interests: ASC/DSC rulers are conj in her 1st, Venus/Pluto, she's the top dog. To top it off the ruler of the 8th is conj them as well. She ain't kidding when she says she's on a power trip, but the men in her life will fail her in various ways due to Sun/Mars aspects. The ruler of the 2nd in the 6th house of servants may be one factor why she may not feel v.strong to stand on her own, as if she deserves a subordinate role, behind the scenes, but it will not make her happy. Ruler of 2nd is also opp Sun, MC ruler, also standing for a male marker, further illustrates.

Very interesting, I was actually just going off of her description of the types of men she's attracted to. I asked her what she was looking for and based on her description summed it up to a Scorpio or Capricorn dominant personality. Personally I think she'd be better off with Air signs who are dominant Air and Water, to elementally balance her own makeup.

I figured when I read the OP that someone would immediately blame that on Libra, but I dunno...I have four planets in the sign and I'm not that way - then again I'm also strongly Uranian so that probably curbs it.

Very feminine!

Nice..

Normally women are like the moon - flinging void of course without connections&relationships,

but if really feminine than we the guys become like life for you.

If you notice even female body becomes as plastic if depraved of love expressions, touches, etc.

I wanna guess - you have VERY prominent Neptune in the chart!!

I mean VERY - like Neptune on powerful position (royal fixed star, conjunctions, etc) n planets or angles on his nodes.
Or Pisces sidereal full max.

just to clear my view:

Neptune is not feminine planet at all, but the perfect specimen - male or the opposite.

Hehe,

I'm right - u have MC-IC axis on Neptune nodes.
Also Neptune antiscion close to Neptune node down on IC (sidereal).

Tell me about purpose in life n what truly makes you happy n secure.

But in your case you have also Sun on Spica/Arcturus conjunction which is the starry expression of the above theme.

Arcturus the gorgeous male always connected & carrying the sweet burdens of Spica - the perfect female.

Moon (conj) s node on Virgo cluster (translate super powerful) exactly on prenatal new moon.
Equals Moon n the node are channels of whole life force.

There's lots more but others will chime in too

Nice chart,

Cheers!

I first gravitated toward:

Pluto/Venus/Mercury in the 1st. Your DSC is in Taurus which automatically makes your 7th House experiences ruled by your 1st House Venus.

Pluto feels essential, it feels like a major reason for living. Pluto is also your ASC ruler so is amplified.

The 8th House (Pluto and Scorpio's House) is ruled by Gemini, which charges that Mercury conjunction. I think it was fitting you described your relationships like thumbing through a book.

Moon/Mars in Libra 11th House, requires friendship from a relationship more than the intense stuff your Scorpio energies desire.

Pluto in the 1st will tell you it is essential to know and transform your self in deep ways. Venus in Scorpio added to that, tells us we can transform our self through deep meaningful connections with others. Add Mercury to include an energy of "Why not try to learn as much as possible from as many situations as possible? I am bound to find the perfect scenario for self transformation that way". Moon in Libra 11th says "I need to relate with others and be related to in an idealistic, friendship-oriented, and humanitarian way". When your Moon's dynamic is added to your 1st house, I think you will find lasting transformation and love in people who you can see as a friend. Once a relationship begins to get comfortable and the person starts to become different than their ideal, you may quickly move to someone who poses a fresh ideal.

That would be my reasoning.

Thanks all for your wonderful input!!

Actually, I've never been in a REAL COMMITTED relationship with ANY water types (minus the scorpio). The only type of men I've been in a real relationship with were Aries, Leo, Sagittarius, and Scorpio.

The rest I didn't even bother knowing their birthdays...or bothered remembering them...HAHAHAH I'm so bad.

My very first love was an Aries male, and jesus, they guy was INSECURE to the MAX. His venus was in Aquarius, actually. We were going out for 1 year and all of a sudden he decided to drop me like a piece of trash (or decided to finally drop me - we would always break up and get back). Throughout the relationship we were always on-and-off, argue about stupid things (I'm sure that's cuz of him being an Aries and me never wanting to give in). Basically, he was an @$$hole. He had a job which paid more than my job and I was the one ALWAYS taking him out and paying for his sorry @$$...how petty!! But I was young and stupid so, I didn't know better.

After he broke up with me I became hostile. Every guy after him I basically dumped. I guess I realized what I DON'T want in a guy after that first failed relationship.

My longest relationship was with a Saggy, moon taurus, ascendant/mars/mercury scorpio, venus capricorn. This was also a long distance relationship. He was in another country, and every year we would take about 3-4 months to go visit each other. We talked to each other EVERYDAY. I had 0 issues with his loyalty and commitment to me. The only problem was...he lacked the power and the business-mind attitude. He was ready to marry me but I refused. Intimacy was also lacking towards the end of the relationship, which is a HUGE problem. I would always say things to fire him up, but he generally just sits there and goes "mhm. ya. ok. ya. mhm." It's like trying to kick a tree down. He wasn't really an affectionate person, just didn't fit him and his personality - but I'm fine with that. My main issue was his financial instability and his lack of motivation and drive.

Plus, we always have different views on things that matters the most (like family, like a job) It's not that he is wrong - he's not wrong, but just different.

One of my close friends asked me a really good question one day after my break up with the sag guy. He said:

"Why is it that when girls get into relationships, they always want to change the guy??? But guys would never want to change the girl and just accepts them for who they are. But girls, on the other hand, probably already knows how the guy is, his personality, yet they still get into a relationship with them thinking that they'll change for them. Any change is only temporary, in the beginning, just to satisfy. After a while, that's when the true person starts to come out, they will always revert back to who they really are."
