What Career(s) have you always wanted to do? (whether you work in it now or not) Why are you attracted to this career, & is fame something you had in mind for this particular occupation?
State your 10th House/Midheaven and the aspects you have to it.

I have Sag in the 10th house - semi-sextiles Sun, quintiles Moon, & conjuncts Mercury.
I've always wanted to be an Astronaut. I love outer space & i wanted to be the first person who found a real alien XD

Stay at home wife and mother...Scorpio MC conjunct Uranus, trine Venus on the DC, square Jupiter and opp Chiron. So :-/My Moon (ruler of 6th) is conjunct Pluto (ruler of MC) in Libra the 8th/9th house though and it trines Mars in the 5th house, sextiles Jupiter in the 7th and Neptune in the 11th... IP: Logged |

My career goal/dream lifestyle is to be a vagabond, a drifter, a philosophical rebel who works with people and travels to foreign places. I'm an Aquarius Rising and I've got Sagittarius on the Midheaven with Saturn conjunct Uranus in the 10th. I just want to learn, live, travel and teach, that's about it. I'm not interested in 401 K plans, mortgages or living any kind of traditional lifestyle. I think teaching might be my calling but I don't want to jump through all the loops it requires. At the moment I'm prepping to go to graduate school and that's about as far as that goes. We'll see, I like to let the wind carry me. I don't live for my career, I could care less about my career, I'm more interested in how I live my life. On a side note I'm not living my dream lifestyle, I'm currently working for the "Man" or "Woman" (shakes head sorrowfully). IP: Logged |

You are so Sag and Uranus MC, I love it! I understand the hoop jumping for teaching - I am finally making some strides there, surprisingly, even without a certificate for this and a license for that. I am more drawn to it because I love kids and it will allow me to also take care of the future home, husband and children. Teaching is my "If you had to do something..." career. except the teaching part that pretty sums up mine.  i have a heavy Sagittarius, a Stellium with AC, Sun, Venus, Neptune and Juno, and my Midheaven is ruled by Virgo. NN and Pluto are in the 10th house. i don't know why teaching isn't my thing. i prefer to be freely hopping around the world carefree, while sharing my skills like writing or art. i thought i was going to be an artist when i was a child. the reality is, probably doing all of it minus "success" one magazine i had a regular column gave me a sub-name "international vagabond". Aw thanks Downtomars. I adore kids and people too and just really enjoy the benefits of all that teaching exposes you too. I just love knowledge and education, learning in general. It'll be a long time before I get there, but someday. For now just trying to get by without losing my mind. I really appreciate your insights across the board though.  IP: Logged |

MC in Pisces sq Mars-Neptune-BML, sq Saturn, sextile Mercury ; Jupiter (first MC Ruler) is exactly conjunct Sun. My goal is to realize the Self. Apart from that, I would love to be a psychotherapist :-)

I have Pluto and Saturn both in Scorpio in the 10th house. I have Pluto conjunct MC in Libra (it's almost in Scorpio) and Mars trine MC. I would love to be a surgeon!IP: Logged |

I've always thought that I missed my calling as a gymnast; chart-wise what accounts for that I have no idea and my MC is in Sag (just barely) and I have Uranus conjunct it from the 9th house.At this point my dream career is probably Medical Scientist, which will probably never happen, or a ballet dancer, which I'm also fairly certain will never happen. So my more realistic dream is to become a librarian. The "I dreamed of being an astronaut" thing is also pretty common, particularly for those born in the 50s and 60s, right around the time that NASA supposedly landed on the moon for the first time and everything. All the folks who were kids in that era seem to have a preoccupation or fascination with the idea of space and aliens for whatever reason. By the time I was born, that was old hat and not really something I was interested in, I always found it boring. As a kid I always wanted to cure AIDS and was preoccupied with the subject, even wrote to the CDC at one point. IP: Logged |

I've got Cancer 10H MC and jupiter retro and chiron retro near it or jupiter is conj. mc anyway i dont really count chiron. SOoo!!!
if i could I wish i could sing/dance/act have talents so that i could be an entertainer!! I guess fame matters but i just want to interact with lotsa people see what its like to know everyone in the world. I want people to like me too. I like attention. So ya, entertainer
of course to be realistic I really wouldn't want a job I wish I could just focus on myself and improve me by learning new things and experiencing things. I don't want a job behind a desk! Maybe teaching though. I could fathom that. I like the perks of having summer vacation and holidays more time to myself.------------------
