I notice that where ever I go the attention of the people in the room completely focuses on me. Last night I went to a concert and I almost stold the show from even the performers and bands. IP: Logged |

I'd say cardinal positions like the angular houses or Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn, but that's probably too obvious.Also, I don't think having the attention drawn to you (if that was not your initial goal) is dominant per se. It might point to a noticeable presence, which could be the result of strong cardinal positions but you could be the sweetest, kindest person alive who wouldn't think of getting things your way at all. The latter is how I see "dominant" so it might just be my perception  ------------------

Yea Sun on Asc is a factor for it. Anything that pts to having a single minded purpose, Cardinals/angular placements like Aya stated. Most people just follow/respond passively. Factors for charisma would play into it too.However there is such a thing as having a big head. And also being insecure, which would lend to being paranoid. IP: Logged |

I've had astrologers on different forums look at my chart and the first thing out of them was that I don't really have a 'passive' chart.Lots of Libra, Leo, Aquarius.... IP: Logged |

Strange. I have a lot of cardinal positions (Sun, Mercury, Moon, Neptune, and Mars) as well as a fire sign ascendant/two first-house planets, but I don't really feel like people notice me much and I often feel invisible, at least beyond what I wear (I try to dress nicely, which is obvious, but people don't ever really notice anything else). ------------------

When I walk down the street, people tend to stare. Not exactly flattering imo cos I'm a virgo and I don't like too much attention.I have an aries rising

libra moon/venus/merc I have sun sextile pluto 1 degree?? lol Does that affect things?

Interesting that you are saying this.....I just looked at your chart and you have NN in the 5th. This means you are here to learn to shine and learn to feel comfortable been on the spot light and been noticed...so it makes sense that you feel this way but it also means you need to get in touch with your northnode ! :P YOU ARE NOT INVISIBLE. You can be dominant without drawing attention to yourself. I think the word you're looking for is magnetic. Pluto on the ASC will do that.IP: Logged |

Everyone in my family is this way. My sister and I are Capricorns w/ Sag moons....my brother is Scorpio sun w/ Leo moon....my dad is Aries sun with Aquarius moon...my mom is Cancer/Leo cusp with Aries moon...
so I think it has something to do with cardinal signs and/or FIRE signs. IP: Logged |

Angular houses: 1st, 4th, 7th, 10thAngular houses (as determined by the ASC & MC axises) correspond to the Cardinal signs. Is this about dominant personalities or is it about standing out from the crowd? Unclear as they both don't seem to mean the same thing.Dominant (or male) personalities can tend to have Mars in good aspect to 1st house ruler. Are you attractive? It could be a simple explanation to why you receive a lot of glances from others. I can also see how astrology can influence a person who stands out from the crowd. IP: Logged |

I mean like everyone notices you and gravitates towards you. Everyone in the room is constantly eying you. Like you can walk up to anyone and they are instantly your best friend and will do anything for you. Like I can walk up to people of the opposite sex and just touch them and they don't mind.I don't know if I am attractive or not. What I see in the mirror is okay I guess. Sometimes. IP: Logged |

I have my asc, moon, venus, mercury in cardinal and I get attention but why is it cardinal signs that get it?Like how Besides my sun and mars and pluto, everything else I have is in cardinal signs. IP: Logged |

I have this same "issue" although I think mine can be chalked up to being a 1st decan Aqua rising (standing out - at 5'10", I tend to) with Uranus on the MC (the world sees you as unique). I am also a Leo sun so, that too... quote:
