Topic: What placements in a guy would make them want s strong willed woman or submissive one

Would somebody with a fire sun (but on cusp of earth and fire) and fire moon want a strong willed female? Or would they prefer a meeker girl? If they have earth placements (merc and mars) and a fire venus (but on cusp btwn fire and earth), would they find somebody more soft attractive? Or sb who has opinions and isn't afraid to voice them out?Strong willed as in independent or somebody who is not a pushover NOT like bossy lol IP: Logged |

My first hunch is that they'd step all over the meek girl, so even though they don't know they "prefer" a stronger one, this would be what they need. IP: Logged |

Air signs will also sometimes get confused and think a strong earth sign will solve their problems, but there is something missing and theyre not compatible. My point is, air and water are both fragile unrealistic dreamers who need a strong sign. Earth and fire are those strong signs who will give structure and solid confidence to things and put ideas into action. When you have earth and fire coming together, in my experience it is often a case of two stubborn people colliding. And when u have two air and water signs coming together you have two sentimental idealists coming together who may find that neither of them can provide the confidence and solid practical advice the other person needs to soothe both of their complex vulnerable emotions and their inability to live in reality, escaping responsibility

I agree with Maira, I think men may tend to walk over meeker women because they can get away with it knowing that they won't lose anything so will cheat and lie etc. without worrying too much about consequences. I'm sure there are men out there who just want to protect and keep the meeker women safe as well though.I know I personally prefer stronger willed women but there are situations which call for submissivness sometimes and wilfullness others  I'll list my info below if you want to take a look and glean what you can. I'd attest stronger willed women at least to my Venus-Pluto + Host of asteroids in Scorpio. Asc - Leo

I think it's more an ego/insecurity type of thing. When they're around stronger girls who have their own mind and their own things going on, that intimidates them and they feel like less of a man for whatever reason. It depends on the type of fire....Aries influenced men are turned on by submissive girls... as long as there's some resistance beforehand. Sagittarius men can go either way. They can like anyone... They're very "open" to experience. But if she is extra girly/emotional/too sensitive this can get annoying - since Sag guys are pretty blunt. Leo men LOVE strong willed, bordering on aggressive -women... The more you slap them (figuratively or physically or both!) - the more they love you.
I would say that the most traditional guys are Taureans and Capricorns... who generally like extra feminine women. But it depends on their chart.. If they have Aries/Sag in their chart - they might still prefer a fiery girl.

Look at the Moon and Venus becuse those traditionally stand for what kind of woman a guy wants. If they are in Masculine signs (Fire or Air), they would want someone who is assertive and can stand up for themselves.IP: Logged |

Boyfriend (ex-bf?) has Sun at 29 Sagittarius, Venus in Sag and Moon in Gemini. He claimed he prefers his women to be submissive and we had a lot of arguments about this in the beginning of the relationship because I certainly am not one. But he only prefers submissive types because they never challenge him, never question him and allow him to think everything is great about him. But in the end it was proven he didn't have much respect for them and, surprise-surprise, I brought out a submissive side in HIM. And if I challenged him, though he hated it at the time, he apreciated later on. Strong women rule. Period.  If he's man enough, he will handle it. ------------------

To find out what a man is attracted to look at his Venus sign.Venus/Aries would would be attracted to an independant woman
Venus in Taurus would be attracted to a woman of substance
Venus in Gemini would be attracted to a woman who is open minded open to new experiences
