I'm sure there's a thread out there about this already, but I'm far too lazy to search through literally hundreds of pages to find the right one.

Here we go:
For a long time, I was really confused about which moon I was because I was born 5 minutes away from when the Moon was moving into Scorpio. There were always conflicting reports about when I was born. Birth Certificate states 1:52pm while my mother claims that she remembers watching the clock (her labor was induced, and in the middle of giving birth they had to pull me out because she was so weak and couldn't push) and that the time was right before 2pm. It doesn't really help that I'm a Libra Rising, so for a long time I just never really knew.

I finally realized that I'm more than likely a Libra Moon because I simply just don't "feel" as much as Scorpio Moon does. I'm just not that intense. So my question for other Libra Mooners is this: do you often feel that, emotionally, you're just kinda... inactive. Sure, I get really mad and throw up a storm when someone pushes the right buttons every once in awhile, but on a regular day, I don't really go through many emotions. Maybe slightly grumpy when I'm hungry, but I usually possess the same emotion for hours, maybe days at a time. I should also note that I've been on antidepressants for severe depression since I was 16 and mood stabilizers for Bipolar, so I'm sure that adds to my emotional "sedation". But even before I started taking medication, I still felt the same consistant emotion - severe depression. Oh, and please don't get on my case about the evils of psychiatry and psychology. It saved my life, so lay off. Sometimes meditation and prayer doesn't solve a biological issue.

With that said, discuss.

After I broke up with ex I was super depressed and was depressed for a long time. I never planned or acted on it but I definitely felt like I wanted to die. I felt super betrayed even though he didn't cheat on me but he might as well had bc the pain I felt was huge and took me years to overcome this. After trying a bunch of different things to get back on track I told my parents how depressed I felt and that I was willing to go see a psychiatrist and give meds a try and that is what helped me. I think if you are depressed long enough you alter the way your brain works and meds help correct this imbalance and get your brain to get back on track to working properly. I was on the meds for a year or less and have never needed meds again in my life. I felt it helped. In SOME cases meds is needed but I do avoid it as much as possible.

I usually go back and forth with the antidepressants. I take breaks when I feel the angst letting go of me. It really is like a ghost that comes back to haunt me. I won't stop taking lamotrigine - the mood stabilizer. It keeps the severe chemical changes from happening. When I was younger, I use to feel the changes like a change in tide. I would fear them because it usually would lead to a hypomanic episode and I would lose myself in too many conflicting emotions. Now they're more at ease and I'm less anxious.

Deep down inside, despite the depression and flights of "mixed episodes" (google it), I do feel that my true nature is very steady. Even as a Cancer, I'm really not moody and my emotions don't change. Before the onset of puberty (that's when the issues with depression began), I usually had two modes: happy and hungry. Growing up, I was the perfect child. No temper tantrums, no crying, no attitude, not even excitability. Just pleasantness.

I read the title and almost laughed out loud. Trust me, Libra Moons have just as much feeling as anyone else. In fact in some cases probably MORE - I have Pluto conjunct mine. Just because we aren't always going around being dramatic and emoting and saying everything we feel, doesn't mean we don't feel in the first place.

Thanks for laughing at me. You say "we" as if I'm not part of that crowd. Also, I didn't say Libra Mooners don't feel. I said we don't go through as many feelings - as in emotions. We tend to stick to one feeling in an effort to stay even or balanced. Perhaps you should have thoroughly read my posts before replying because I made myself clear and cited quite a few examples.

I do in fact have an unaspected Libra Moon. Not really sure how it manifests in my chart... Such is the nature of the beast.

I think that an unaspected moon would "feel less" regardless of the sign. If you have people in your life (or will have) born on the Libra - Scorpio cusp, you should pay attention to them as it might be the exact degree of your moon.

I find Libra moon thinks instead of feels. I am talking about this one aspect only, not the whole person, but this particular moon.

wow lol you have a libra moon as well? Cool

Anyway, I'm pretty effing sensitive. Might be cos I have moon conjunct venus, but I'm NOT cold. I might not be crazy intense like a scorpy moon, but I feel emotions really deep. I just dn't like to make a huge deal out of it like watery moons, I like to keep it inside. And yes, when I got hurt by an ex, it took me what? 16 months to feel better.

I have a Libra Moon but Pluto conjuncts it so there goes my balance…

However, I do appear to be calm. I have been told by many people (boyfriends, friends, bosses, strangers) that I am “calm” or “calming”, which is weird because I am usually seething inside and sometimes even highly anxious. It is the oddest thing. So I tend to think of the Libra Moon as the “duck on water” moon when it comes to emotions – calm on the surface but paddling like he!l underneath…

I usually think of Capricorn, Virgo or Aquarius Moons when I think of less emotion.

That is probably a big part of it because aspects cause issues, good or bad, with no aspects it can just exist...

I have an unaspected moon and most of the time I'm a robot. My moon is in Taurus (Capricorn in the draconic) and the people who are closest to me have one of their big three conjunct it. I think it's the Universe's way of stimulating it

Not sure. The Scorp Moon I know gets very grumpy when hungry. Also the depression thing isn't very Libra like because we (well at least for me) view our emotions as a choice... Things rarely get out of hand. I'm sure there are a few Libra Moons on anti depressants but in general we like balance and moderation.

Do you like being alone or do you need a partner a lot of the time? Do you like doing errands by yourself or with someone else?

When angry do you seek harmony/peace or do you want to get revenge?

What aspects does your Moon make? That could also change its expression. If you have a Libra Moon but conjunct Pluto, it will be more Scorp like. If its square Saturn, you would be more prone to depression. Really depends on other factors in your chart.

I'm very much a loner, although any time I spend with people would be spent with either my father, my roommate, or my boyfriend. The latter receives a majority of the attention. I prefer doing errands with him because grocery shopping is already a miserable task for me - I like it when he tags along and helps.

When I'm angry, I shut everyone out. I lock doors and stay confined to my own space until I feel better. I attribute that to being a Cancer Sun. I don't seek revenge nor "peace" with the one I'm fighting with. I prefer to just walk away from the situation as if it never happened. Of course, there are always situations that push you to the edge - I've gotten revenge on maybe... three people? They were all very abusive of our friendship, so instead of burning bridges I blew them up. I think everyone has gotten some sort of revenge, though. It's not exclusive to Scorpio.

My Libra Moon is unaspected in the 1st House. Scorpio Pluto is in the 1st house as well, but it is obviously not conjunct. My Moon IS sextile Sag Saturn/Uranus, but I've never given much weight to sextiles. I find them too weak for consideration, especially with outer planets.

My mom is an Aries sun, Libra moon... talk about conflicting! She wants everything to be fair but for her to be more important, lol. Hilarious. She's very stubborn too. Aries are stubborn but I think it's more out of defiance. Libras are a different kind of stubborn though ime. They're also very concerned with things being pleasant, def. people pleasers (my mom's chart doesn't help 'cause she has Merc in Pisces... I have to sometimes tell her she doesn't need to do that favor for someone, they'll be okay.)

She's a really sweet and gentle woman but she doesn't quite have a ton of empathy. Sure, there's the Merc in Pisc. but Merc is different than moon. When I'm talking to her about a problem or situation, she misses the point quite often which is how it feels. What the situation FEELS like from my pov. She thinks manners can solve any problem big or small.

Ami, you said what I wasn't able to put into words! A Libra Moon was my over-confession-loving flatmate who got dumped by a bf and I suppose she was depressed just through the fact of not being part of a couple.

And she would misplace my things and whatnot, at some point I grew so disgusted I stopped talking to her and she CAME to me and STARTED SHOUTING she would treat my things with respect and God, this Scorpio-overflavoured girl that I am (Vertex, Pars Fortunae, Saturn, Pluto - trining Venus, Jupiter in the 8th) was like "why does she think that by analysing and WORKING on things she can stop me from FEELING disgust.

They don't get it, do they? What use is thinking/analysing when it comes to feelings? Feelings cannot be changed by acting a certain way.

Well I understand perhaps normal people do live like that. The percentage of Neptune/Pluto-driven people is lower than the percentage of everyone else

sorry....
but, this does not sound like it has to do with astrology
i know a cancer sun-libra moon, and two gemini-libra moons....
regardless, there are some things about your op that tell me this goes beyond astrology.
hope you feel better.
