I know that Leo is a fixed sign.. but what exactly are they "fixed" about? Their sense of self? What? Their opinions? To me and from experience it seems as if Scorpio and Aquarius is more fixed on opinions, Taurus is fixed on possessions of any kind, and Leo well i don't know.. what are they fixed on lol

i think all fixed signs are stubborn....as a scorpio, and for as many other fixed signs i know, yes, we are stubborn...not just in opinion, but in EVERYTHING

I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

I see fixed as combo of resilience and determination.

I don't have anything in a fixed sign (besides the outer three planets in cap and scorp pluto) and I'm quite stubborn lol.

Think virgo and aries aspects makes somebody who's firm in their own beliefs. I mean I'm easygoing and compromising, but if sb wants me to do sth I don't want to do, or tries to change my opinion on sth I believe in... Good luck lol.

I admit my best debates are usually with Scorpio's until they annoy me because they take things WAAAAY too seriously/personal lmfao. My friend we can have debates but then he takes it so seriously.. to the point where if i have a differing opinion he takes it as an attack and than afterwards he will ignore me or just act like a baby or something. I noticed this with Scorpio influenced people, my high school friend is the same way..
We got into a debate about World cup I said that Spain sucks, and i think germany is better, and she took it to heart and till this day she holds it against me. Its like CHILL, it wasn't serious she gets way too hung up on it. Its pretty hilarious ..

lol, but i still think all fixed signs are stubborn....i'm a scorpio with a leo moon and aqua NN and MC..and aquarius mother, a leo brother, leo nephew, scorpio niece, and a taurus niece...and most of my moms boyfriends have been leos....if anything, its been nothing but one big power struggle in my house

I am pretty stubborn but I usually cave and I believe in compromise. I can easily see others POV and I like harmony more than I like being right.

I think my personal planets landing in the 7th house have something to do with that though.

I have a father with 4 major planets in scorp,
Mother with 2 major planets in scorp
Sis with two major planets in leo and one in taurus (as well as as taurus rising I suspect)

I'm the only one that's mostly cardinal lol with mutable sun and mars.

But we're all stubborn people.

Yes. I can be very stubborn/unreasonable. I will not give on certain things (i.e. spiritual, or in regards to someone I really LOVE.)

However, I do have a tendency to "give in" when I'm fighting with one of those people I really love. I honestly know the extent of my stubbornness. In most cases, good luck getting me to believe I wont win (if I want to.) and while it's nice to be that sure of yourself, if you're that absolutely sure you're right it probably isn't worth someone you care for.

I'm dating an Aries who makes everything a competition. He HAS to win (and if he doesn't, it's a blow to his ego) in the long run, I'll be happier without a pouty ram..because most of the time the petty garbage isn't worth it. If it is important, I can hold on to it a lot longer than he can. If it's that big of a deal, I usually get my way by holding on to it longer than it matters to him. haha

Yes, Leos are very rigid. They will NOT change their point of view or concede on something. This has always baffled me, 'cause I'm an Aries and I can admit when I'm wrong. I'm like "Yeah I'm wrong, fine, whatever, let's watch the movie!" You know? 'Cause I'm like that car commercial "zoom zoom". I've found those with major Leo placements, Mercury in Leo, or Leos themselves would make great lawyers 'cause they, like Scorpios, know how to say the same thing 10 different ways without any loopholes in their argument. They make Geminis look foolish which is still something I'm trying to figure out (I have lots of Gemini placements).

Honestly, I'm pretty fixed about EVERYthing. Then again I have Leo and Aquarius pretty heavy in my chart. I'm damn stubborn, I totally admit that.

I find with fixed signs is they are gawd DAMN determined people, but they are like, the hardest people ever to motivate to do something. But with Leo...quite easy going, maybe a little "do this my way" and for sure playful.

(Could just be the Leos I know).

I think all fixed sign Mercuries can be stubborn. It depends a lot on Mercury.

If you met a Leo person with a Cancer or Virgo Mercury... they won't seem so stubborn.

Yeah I think it's just the ones you know, because trying to convince me of anything is an absolute and total waste of time basically. Then again, I have to reiterate just how busy the fixed axis is in my chart. I literally have something important in every last fixed sign; my chart ruler is in Scorpio and conjunct my midheaven; I mentioned my Aqua ascendant and SN; my sun and mercury AND NN are in Leo, and my Chiron is in Taurus and makes aspects to both my sun and my venus and is the focal point of a yod.

Yes, I would say they are stubborn in that they stand by what they believe and refuse to budge if you try to change their mind. Even if they know you are right, they will never admit it. Fixed signs are also constant and predictable, save for Aquarius who constantly try to be unpredictable :P
