There was a thread talking about fire/water signs being manipulative in relationships, being really good ************ and I wanted to know if someone with Moon, Venus, and Mars water signs and a mercury in Sagittarius would be the same as a fire/water combo, or if the ************ only applied to sun/moon fire and water placements.IP: Logged |

Water signs and gemini are manipulative. Former being emotionally so, and latter being more mental.Fire signs don't do manipulation. Aries and Sags are too much into being straight up and blunt, Leos find it below them. IP: Logged |

Fire sign suns don't, but is the fire element as strong if it's just in Mercury? Like would that Mercury in Sagittarius override his Moon and Venus in Scorpio, and Mars in Pisces?

^ that person is def going to be pretty manipulative and have alot of mind game tendencies. That guy will be pretty emotionally abusive I suspect, once you get to know him well. =/ IP: Logged |

I'm trying to remember that thread...I think it was that someone said they know someone water and fire-heavy, who says they aren't good enough for anybody and that they person always waits and dotes on others? I had a hard time buying that cuz like I said, fire and water signs are too feisty, heart-on-the-sleeve, confident and assertive for that type of behavior, it's totally unlike them. Which is why I said that more than likely the person is BSing and presenting themselves as something they're not, as a form of manipulation. Which, I still stand by. To some extent this is based on person experience; I have a decent amount of fire activity in my chart, water too (although somewhat indirectly; four planets in a water house; chart ruler in a water sign; Pluto aspecting my moon and mercury), and I'm nothing like that. Neither is everyone else I've encountered with a lot of stuff in fire and/or water. We're bold, know our worth, and we tend to be very direct about what we need and want. Honestly I think the fire-water person who claims to not be like that, saying and doing this stuff to kinda manipulate people, yeah - sort of like how some people will insult themselves so that other people compliment them. They probably talk and act like they hate themselves so people will constantly praise them. IP: Logged |

I could definitely see it. I don't know him well but I'm already getting the penetrating stares of interest. He's a Capricorn to top it off and he already reminds me of my ex-boyfriend (who, vedically speaking, had a Scorpio moon). Scorpio moons are very controlling, or give off that vibe anyway... 'cause I swear I can feel it. I can like FEEL him wanting to, like, OWN me.

Okay, so the manipulation isn't something long-term, as in it's not a goal they're working towards? I imagine the manipulation you were talking about as like... two people meet and start dating, and the Fire/Water person secretly plans how to manipulate the other into giving them their way, molding the other person into their idea of perfection, type of deal.
I wanted to get your opinion about the Cappy with those water placements. I mean he has Mercury in Sagittarius so he'd be more straightforward wouldn't he?
