Introducing - Justice Virginia Bell... one of the very few female judges to be appointed as a Justice of the High Court of Australia! (If you are from US or elsewhere -- this is the highest court in the court hierarchy, in Australia)

quote:
Virginia Margaret Bell was appointed to the Court in February 2009. At the time of her appointment she was a judge of the New South Wales Court of Appeal. She graduated from the University of Sydney as a Bachelor of Laws in 1976. After seven years as a solicitor with the Redfern Legal Centre, she was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in 1984 and was appointed a Senior Counsel in 1997. Justice Bell practised as a public defender between 1986 and 1989 before returning to the private Bar. Between 1994 and 1997 she was a counsel assisting the Royal Commission into the New South Wales Police Service. Justice Bell was appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in March 1999. She served as president of the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration 2006 to 2008.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virginia_Bell http://www.hcourt.gov.au/justices/current/justice-bell

She was born on: 7 March 1951 - which means she has a Pisces Sun (16 deg) and a Pisces Mercury (12 deg) conjunct!

Just one more perfectly good reason.. to take the following interpretations:

quote:
Mercury in Pisces [...] are not detail oriented… instead they are caught up with feelings, emotions and moods around them.

quote:
They don't like cold hard facts or making hard decisions. They may appear disorganized to others. They don't like details, and they may tend to drift mentally.

quote:
They are rather naïve, and they are trusting. This can result in them being taken advantage of or being misled. They can be very vulnerable. They can also be lazy, oversensitive and impractical.

quote:
Pisces Suns [...] tend to be too otherworldly for the practical purposes of living in this world as it is. They sometimes exist emotionally rather than rationally, instinctively more than intellectually. They patiently wait for problems to sort themselves out rather than take the initiative in solving them.

....... And chuck them in the nearest bin.

The only truth about Pisces is this:

Because Pisces is the last sign they can be a chameleon and they can behave like ANY of the other signs.. including very different ones like Virgo (analytical) or Aquarius (intellectual). I see no boundaries for Pisces. Good for them!!

Most annoying passive sign. They don't get involved even when they see people they know full well in trouble or danger they won't intervene. And then when it is their turn, they wonder why no one has their back.

Sure im someone that doesn't get involved because I find a lot of things worthless however that being said I DO stand up for others when I see them being wronged just to stand up. Maybe because I have Aquarius placements and Mars in Cancer. But most Pisces I meet as nice as they are are annoying and passive and need to grow some genitals.

There's also quite a few good MMA fighters who have Pisces Mars. And that's supposedly not a good position for sports (especially a sport which requires reflex, punching, kicking, and grappling).

Dear Lindisfarne and Mir (and other corn-flakeys!)

If you would like to create your own topic regarding your personal experiences with Pisces people - you are welcome to do so.
But this was not intended to be that kind of thread. And I was not asking for your personal experiences.

Of course I can't stop anyone from posting whatever they please.

But I can make a kind request that people stay more or less 'on topic'...

I'm sorry if my initial topic was not clear.

What I would like to discuss here are the career choices of Pisces-influenced people. As far as I've noticed these career choices are often very varied... There is no particular inability in Pisces-influenced people to focus on their work, pay attention to detail, analyse arguments and make judgements.

That does not mean that there are no Pisces-influenced people in the world who are unable to perform certain 'left-brain' tasks... but I don't think there is a higher percentage of such people in comparison to those of any other sign.

Ok a career choice something that doesn't involve helping others, something that involves being unreliable and all over the place... maybe a pseudo-hobo? Fleeting from one major street intersection to the next, pretending to be a homeless person taking money from others..

Or a club promoter. "promoter" which involves again being unreliable. See these are not bad traits if one owns up to it. I really think Pisces should be a pseudo hobo, making money off of pretendin to be poor that's a really good business scam, oops I meant scheme.

lol

My brother is Pisces Sun/Merc conj. (Virgo Moon)
Very intellectual, wide spectrum of interests, good speaker and forms opinions easily but thoroughly, sticks to them. Likes politics. Intelligent,as well. The part where I see Pisces is when he uses intuition as part of processing ideas. U ask how had he reached a conclusions he says 'just came to me'

Thanks for sharing Betty Boop, this is interesting, both my little girls are Pisces Suns, one in particular a little in need of a boost with her self esteem, she does get harshly judged a lot for being 'vacant' and being a 'tween' this can really mess with her confidence so I will show her this for some inspiration.

My dad is a Pisces sun and was a cop for 20ish years. My sister is a Pisces moon and is an accounting student. My close friend is a Pisces sun with Neptune conjunct her ASC and writes for the local newspaper/is supermom. Another friend has a Pisces moon and is an EMT and volunteer firefighter. Obviously, other factors in the chart are going to play a part, but I wouldn't say any of them are lazy or overly passive as far as their careers go.

But the fact that her sun and mercury conjunct negates some of the typical traits of a pisces mercury, and they become more quick thinking and think quicker like a virgo or a gem.

It's like having sun conjunct venus, it makes sb more libran.

Moon conjunct mars makes somebody behave more fiery and aries like.

^ That seems accurate enough.... But there are intelligent Pisceans out there (e.g. Einstein) who do not have the conjunction to Mercury.
And there are also Pisces Mercury people like Richard Dawkins, (renowned scientist) who do not have Sun in Pisces.
