Topic: Does MC/Midheaven effect appearance or personality in any remote way?

Was curious if the MC effects appearance in any remote way, or personality? I have a scorpio MC, but no other Scorpio placements in my chart... but get told I have Scorpio/Pisces eyes (okay, I do have some Pisces in my chart) and can be very "intense". My friend has a cancer MC and it definitely has a impact on her appearance, I think, and a bit on her personality- she has no other cancer placements, or anything that seems to denote that.IP: Logged |

Oh, by the way because someone may ask this- I have Sun in Aries, Moon in Aries, Mercury in Aries, Venus & Mars in Gemini, Jupiter Virgo, Saturn Cancer, Uranus Pisces, Neptune Aquarius, Pluto Sagittarius, Lilith Gemini, N. Node in Taurus.Aquarius ascendant with Uranus and Neptune in first house. A professional Astrologer said the "eyes" may be more of a Pisces and Aquarius thing (I've heard that Aquarius can have very distinct eyes) IP: Logged |

Might be aspects to your moon? And the house? How closely does your sun, moon and mercury trine your pluto? That might give it a plutonian flavour? And neptune in the first house will give you a pisces look to you.Um not sure about MC angles, but I look pretty striking? I have uranus exact conjunct MC.
Have dimples from my libran placements, and I'm pretty tall and lean from my aries asc.

hmm.. i have cancer mc. my leo moon conjuncts it. i think i act pretty leo-ish in public. i do hope people see the cancer mc coz that is supposed to be caring and nurturing.IP: Logged |

What about Pisces MC? Is that why I appear so soft and gentle? I'm an Aries but even when I get mad people aren't offended. When I'm not mad, they are. I don't understand...IP: Logged |

The answer is Yes, the MC can play into physical qualities and appearance, but in the hierarchy of such influences it is way down the line after (1)Asc (2)1st house (3)Sun (4)Moon. In my case Mars Parallel MC shows in my red hair, and in some interactions people experience me (mostly online) as Martial more than Taurean/Venusian. Scorpio itself is not likely to account for how people react to your physical presence. A lot of it comes down to how you understand the signs. There are also a number of factors in astrology: 10 planets, 12 signs, 12 houses, plus aspects. There can be a lot of overlap.

I agree.
I'm Aqua rising with Mars conj ASC, my Sun and Nept are conj MC in Sag, and my Moon is in Taurus.
Most people react to my Martian and airy ASC than anything else. When you get to know me, you get the earth and fire prominence as well.

Based off my personal experiences, I want to say that yes, it does, but then again I'm not exactly a pure test case. My ascendant is Aquarius, and Uranus is conjunct my midheaven and trine my ascendant. So when people notice my general oddness, sure, it could be them picking up on the aspects to my MC, but it could be them just noticing my ascendant energy. IP: Logged |
