Okay, I am aware this is still sort of a taboo subject for most. Has been for me too. I'm not here to advocate for it or against it. To each their own. I am not one to judge and please don't transform this thread into a controversy about it. It's not what I want. I'm just curious about the placements/aspects that could make one into it. Don't share your stories or impressions about it if you don't want to, though they would be apreciated if you're comfortable sharing. I personally am coming to the end of Saturn's transit through my lengthy 8th house and while in the beginning it was about restrictions and abstinence, towards the end it brought a curiosity about the subject and need to explore my own boundaries on the matter. Having Virgo on the cusp of the 8th and Mars opp Saturn, have been rather prudish and "conservatory" about sex matters up until now. But on the other hand, I have Lust conjunct Sun and an exact opposition between an Aries Mars and Libra Pluto. So I'm unsure where exactly I stand. This is rather off-topic, but it has to do with my ex-bf, which I think, among other things, was present in my life to make me aware of my inner repressed sexual side. Unfortunately it ended before we got to the exploring part. Yes, he was very much into anal sex. Betty Boop already suggested Sag/Scorpio influences can make one into anal. Ex was Sag Sun with Scorpio Asc. I don't want to make this thread about me or my ex, just curious about the astrology behind the subject, so please stick to that. I mentioned the background story because it helps me look at the relationship with a bit more detached eyes, like demythisizing it. Up until now I was shy/ashamed to mention this aspect, but somehow now I feel more comfortable doing so. And I am a curious creature by nature.  Opinions, anyone? ------------------

Interesting. I know another Sag Mars, conj widely Uranus, who was into it. Not obsessed about it, more like trying everything there is out there.

I have Virgo on the 8th cusp and Saturn in the 8th, natally, as well as Mars in aspect to Saturn and honestly - it's just you. I've never found that act fascinating,attractive or interesting in any way shape or form and I'd never participate in it.IP: Logged |

Also curious about the significance it has for people. For my ex, it was about power and dominance. But he was willing to be on the receptive side too, be dominated, said I was the only one with whom he'd try that. He had Cap Mars sq Pluto 1 deg orb. I have Aries Mars opp Pluto exact. Both Marses on each other's Asc/DC cusp. Both have Lust conj Sun. Maybe that's why he said I'd be the only one he'd allow it. IP: Logged |

Yeah, this guy was more obsessed with things he knew others didn't like to do, knocking on forbidden doors. Also, his Venus is conjunct Pluto in Libra which sextiles the Mars-Neptune in Sag...IP: Logged |

Belligerent, off-topic question. Were you raised in a conservatory home, with strict views on sex? In my progressed chart, Saturn is in my 8th, but will soon enter the 7th.
I, for one, was raised in such an environment. Mom was very Christian (still is), married a virgin at 30 and all that. She more or less implied sex with my father was icky and gross and for many years I had the same concepts on it.
