Usually hard Ven-Sat aspects in the natal could indicate a low self-esteem with the other sex. In synastry, Saturn points of contact are good to the longevity of the relationships but if the aspects are hard things are may not go as smoothly in the long-run. For instance, I've heard that a passionate romance early on can turn into a father-daughter relationship later on with this Ven-Sat hard aspect. Saturn tends to become the stern father figure in the relationship whereas Venus is starved for affection. A lot will depend on the rest of the synastry of course. Also when someone is familiar with the energy in his/her natal, the effects can be less threatening in the synastry. Usually one of the two partners is not very familiar to this and has to adjust to "meet" the other emotionally. IP: Logged |

that whole thing is a little weird... usually there's i think somewhat of an age difference and there are responsibilities that are to be taken care of... so, when one wants romance, the other has to work.. or the 'romance' thing just doesn't exist at all and it's held as a business thing rather than a relationship. believe it or not, even though it's saturn you're dealing with, saturn can easily start behaving a little bit like mars to go after the pot of gold and put in the work to make sure they get it and sustain it but saturn looks at it from a realistic point.. they'll seek to straighten their finances out and stuff like that first so that they can actually enjoy one another so they go off and try to do that meanwhile the venus just waits and well, i don't know how the rest of it works out.. maybe u could fill us in! I agree with tux. I wanted to clarify that the Ven-Sat aspects in synanstry won't be "seen" until you two are in a relationship. These aspects do not affect the way you two will come together. They might even reinforce the attraction (say, you are the Venus person and you are a woman, you might be attracted to older guys, him, Saturn opposite or in square to your Venus). So in the beginning, the Ven-Sat energy may help bring you together. Only after you have become a couple can the Saturn harsh aspect to Venus turn sour. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |
