I've read in alot of places that when one's sun conjunct another person's moon it's a good indicator of marriage.

Has anyone ever been in a relationship with that aspect?

What about sun opposition moon (around a 1 degree orb)?

i've felt both.. the conjunction i find lets u both get along... the opposition? i'd advise anyone to run from that.. the two just don't exactly get along! even with the square.. the square can be less problematic but it just doesn't work.. they can get along for a bit and then when the arguments break out or something, it all becomes obvious.

I believe that it is imperative to a marriage that the Sun and Moon be in aspect. Conjunct, trine and sextile are easy, square and opposition are more challenging.

Better for it to be the males Sun-females moon, but an aspect needs to be present. The house that the aspect or aspects fall in are important also. :-)

Just broke up with the opposition of his sun and my moon... I have to agree, it is extremely difficult.

Hmm..perhaps it is!
The female is the Sun and the male is the moon. Female's sun in her 12th house, male's moon in his 6th house. Does that say much?

This is what I got about the opposition:

"The opposition between the Sun and the Moon in synastry is less problematic than the square, simply because there is a ping-pong effect and some kind of promise of potential balance. The attraction is strong and mutual, and the ties can be quite binding, as both people involved are drawn to the relationship. However, many of the problems described for the square aspect potentially apply, although the desire to stay together might be stronger with the opposition."

It is stronger with the opposition, I can attest to that. I have known the father of my two little ones since childhood and it has been on again-off-again since we were 16.

CosmicKarma360, I believe that it is and if Saturn plays a role in the charts, even more glue... :-)

The trine aspect between the Sun/Moon adds harmony and a natural flow to the marriage.

I have a sun opposite moon with a man, and I do feel at times I am a bit dominating in the relationship...but it certainly does go both ways. For example, I'm usually the one thinking up of places to go and leading him and taking him to these places (when we spend time together). I guess that's where I "dominate" but at the same time, when it comes to home issues, he's usually the one making the decisions and leading me as I will just go with his flow. So yes, I do feel that it goes both ways. Plus, I would gladly take the back seat more, but usually he wants my input and opinion.

Also, his saturn conjuncts my venus (we have a DW with this aspect) my mercury and asc, and his saturn also conjuncts his sun.

Just wondering ..... is a hard aspect between sun and moon better than no aspect at all? Or vice versa?
