I was curious about these two
(not that I had ever heard of them before)
but the thought that anyone would put a franchise above the welfare of a child/ren is beyond me. I don't want to over analyze this because it is upsetting and I am still collecting facts.

Back to Astrology
I went ahead and did their Natal/Progressions from information I found on the Net,
I can't be 100% certain that it is accurate so if anyone else has reliable info that differs, please share.

I used a noon birth for both, but rectified the Chart for Jerry Sandusky.

It had to be much bigger than the one guy or he wouldn't have been bold enough to do it in plain sight of other people and continue after they'd seen it and reported it. They were powerful, high placed, organized pedos. It went on too long to be anything else. Sandusky is only the fall guy like Murrey.

People having loyalty to to each other and protecting their careers, and using that loyalty agreement to keep their lips sealed. I have no loyalty to anyone and I'd sing like a canary if I discovered anything as horrible as this. I'd risk my career, even my life in favor of justice and the truth.

The big question is WHY? Why hide the truth, why commit the crimes, who violate children? Why? My Eighth House Mercury wants to know, I guess I'll do some research.

Here is the grand jury presentment for Sandusky: http://www.freep.com/assets/freep/pdf/C4181508116.PDF
(WARNING: graphic details about each victim and the assaults)

I NEVER, EVER trust what the MEDIA says EVER. I studied journalism in college and was a sport journalist in college as well. I've learned that you CANNOT trust any of them. You have to educate yourself because they all have an agenda. It's an unfortunate truth.

Go to Victim 2. It goes into details on how the graduate assistant went to Paterno, Paterno went to the Director of Athletics (Curley), then the DoA went to the Director of Finance and Business (Schultz). Paterno was not involved with any decision making after he made his report.

I'm not condoning what Paterno did. I'm a life long college football fan, and hearing of Paterno's firing did make me very upset. He was far more than a coach, but just because he's a coach doesn't mean he doesn't have very powerful figures who control his team and himself.

With that said, imagine that you're a teacher at a school, and a student of yours comes up to you and says that he saw your former assistant teacher having sex with another student in the bathroom. You go straight to your department head to report the incident. Now, some of you are probably going to say that you would've gone straight to the police reported to your superiors at work. Really? I really don't think so. In the history of history, you can read COUNTLESS accounts of abuse that was initially reported through the superiors at hand (work, school, organizations), then the head of all those superiors is usually the one who decides final action. It's very Confucius, which I don't agree with, but it's the way our society works.

Anyway, you report the incident and nothing happens of it at the end of the investigation. Your superiors tell you that it was handled and to not ask about the matter again (I'm willing to bet my LIFE that Curly and Schultz both told Paterno to "shut up and just coach" and never ask about Sandusky again) What do you do next? Do you go to the police still? Do you

Most of us would still go to the police and say **** you to people like Curly and Schultz, but when you're in a high-stakes position where you risk ******* off the people who pay you and your team and begin the process of destroying the life and reputation of your former close colleague -OR- walking away, it's a rough decision to make. Usually, the route people take is not to do a ******* thing. We all like to say that we would take the higher road, but the unfortunate TRUTH in life is that most people... don't. They walk away and hope that karma takes care of things without them. Etc. Etc.

Paterno was my hero. I wish he would've done what he was supposed to do, which was gone to the police and said **** you to the system. But he didn't, and now he's missing his LAST HOME GAME of his career. Sad. He was supposedly retiring this year. It makes me so upset. He has such an illustrious career. I hope Sandusky burns in hell a little longer for

What interests me the most... is that this has been a three year investigation. Paterno, Curly, Schultz, and the graduate assistant ALL testified in front of a grand jury in DECEMBER 2010. That's a YEAR ago. I find it VERY hard to believe that Penn St didn't know that there was an investigation going on, especially when two of their own Directors are involved and called by the state to testify. What interests me further is they didn't take ANY action until after Sandusky was arrested and the media crucified Penn State's name and Joe Paterno for three days. What really ****** me off is that they fired Joe Paterno THREE DAYS before the school's last home game, the Senior Day game. After 61 years, you'd think they'd let him stay on for three more days to say goodbye to all those who loved him. They let him stay as coach for a year after they knew about the investigation, why fire him OVER THE PHONE in such a dramatic fashion. What message are they trying to send? That people are disposable? Because that just defeats the purpose of firing Joe Paterno, when you really get to the heart of things.

Ok, I'm done. So upset by this whole situation... especially for the 6 children. Maybe everyone should stop talking about Joe Paterno and how didn't do enough, and focus on Sandusky and what HE DID. People are complaining about how Paterno ignored that child... EVERYONE IS IGNORING THE SIX CHILDREN WHO WERE ABUSED. I willing to bet that 75% of the nation doesn't even bother to READ THE PRESENTMENT EVIDENCE... to LEARN about these children. Where are the rallies for THEM?

Oh, and I forgot to mention that The Second Mile didn't go to the police either! And they were the ones who allowed Sandusky ACCESS to these children? Oh, and who this day and age let's their 10 year old son go out unsupervised til past 9:30pm with a then 51 year old man? I'm sorry, but there was A LOT of negligence on the part of all many parties in this very horrific event. It makes me so angry.

This whole situation disgusts me. For the life of me - I don't understand why, despite the many people who caught him in the act, this man (Sandusky) wasn't beaten within an inch of his life. I guess only some people are raised to be the bigger person in the midst of an unacceptable situation. The bigger person would have beat the **** out of this man, waited for the police to come, and then reported his ass to them while standing in the middle of the crime scene. As for Paterno, how can you work side by side with a man you know is a pedophile and do nothing to try to get this man out of your sight and away from your accomplishments (success with the football team) for fear of tainting it. Sandusky obviously didn't care about any of that. Not to mention, the rumour of the many children who were passed around to sponsors and donors of the school and football program. It's just disgusting.

Sandusky was no longer working with the team at that point actually, yet he still had access to the campus. But I understand what you mean.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/7212054/key-dates-penn-state-nittany-lions-sex-abuse-case

A chronological look at the case against former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky, based on a grand jury report in Pennsylvania state court. Some key dates in Penn State football history are included. Sandusky has been charged with 40 criminal counts, accusing him of serial sex abuse of minors:

1969
Jerry Sandusky starts his coaching career at Penn State University as a defensive line coach.

1977
Jerry Sandusky founds The Second Mile. It begins as a group foster home dedicated to helping troubled boys and grows to become a charity dedicated to helping children with absent or dysfunctional families.

January 1983
Associated Press voters select Penn State as college football's national champion for the 1982 season.

January 1987
Associated Press voters select Penn State as college football's national champion for the 1986 season.

1994
Boy known as Victim 7 in the report meets Sandusky through The Second Mile program at about the age of 10.

1994-95
Boy known as Victim 6 meets Sandusky at a Second Mile picnic at Spring Creek Park when he is 7 or 8 years old.

1995-96
Boy known as Victim 5, meets Sandusky through The Second Mile when he is 7 or 8, in second or third grade.

1996-97
Boy known as Victim 4, at the age of 12 or 13, meets Sandusky while he is in his second year participating in The Second Mile program.

1996-98
Victim 5 is taken to the locker rooms and showers at Penn State by Sandusky when he is 8 to 10 years old.

Jan. 1, 1998
Victim 4 is listed, along with Sandusky's wife, as a member of Sandusky's family party for the 1998 Outback Bowl.

1998
Victim 6 is taken into the locker rooms and showers when he is 11 years old. When Victim 6 is dropped off at home, his hair is wet from showering with Sandusky. His mother reports the incident to the university police, who investigate.

Detective Ronald Schreffler testifies that he and State College Police Department Detective Ralph Ralston, with the consent of the mother of Victim 6, eavesdrop on two conversations the mother of Victim 6 has with Sandusky. Sandusky says he has showered with other boys and Victim 6's mother tries to make Sandusky promise never to shower with a boy again but he will not. At the end of the second conversation, after Sandusky is told he cannot see Victim 6 anymore, Schreffler testifies Sandusky says, "I understand. I was wrong. I wish I could get forgiveness. I know I won't get it from you. I wish I were dead."

Jerry Lauro, an investigator with the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare, testifies he and Schreffler interviewed Sandusky, and that Sandusky admits showering naked with Victim 6, admits to hugging Victim 6 while in the shower and admits that it was wrong.

The case is closed after then-Centre County District Attorney Ray Gricar decides there will be no criminal charge.

June 1999
Sandusky retires from Penn State but still holds emeritus status.

Dec. 28, 1999
Victim 4 is listed, along with Sandusky's wife, as a member of Sandusky's family party for the 1999 Alamo Bowl.

Summer 2000
Boy known as Victim 3 meets Sandusky through The Second Mile when he is between seventh and eighth grade.

Fall 2000
A janitor named James Calhoun observes Sandusky in the showers of the Lasch Football Building with a young boy, known as Victim 8, pinned up against the wall, performing oral sex on the boy. He tells other janitorial staff immediately. Fellow Office of Physical Plant employee Ronald Petrosky cleans the showers at Lasch and sees Sandusky and the boy, who he describes as being between the ages of 11 and 13.

Calhoun tells other physical plant employees what he saw, including Jay Witherite, his immediate supervisor. Witherite tells him to whom he should report the incident. Calhoun was a temporary employee and never makes a report. Victim 8's identity is unknown.

March 1, 2002
A Penn State graduate assistant enters the locker room at the Lasch Football Building. In the showers, he sees a naked boy, known as Victim 2, whose age he estimates to be 10 years old, being subjected to anal intercourse by a naked Sandusky. The graduate assistant tells his father immediately.

March 2, 2002
In the morning, the graduate assistant calls coach Joe Paterno and goes to Paterno's home, where he reports what he has seen.

March 3, 2002
Paterno calls Tim Curley, Penn State athletic director to his home the next day and reports a version of what the grad assistant had said.

March 2002
Later in the month the graduate assistant is called to a meeting with Curley and senior vice president for finance and business Gary Schultz. The grad assistant reports what he has seen and Curley and Schultz say they will look into it.

March 27, 2002 (approximate)
The graduate assistant hears from Curley. He is told that Sandusky's locker room keys are taken away and that the incident has been reported to The Second Mile. The graduate assistant is never questioned by university police and no other entity conducts an investigation until the graduate assistant testifies in grand jury in December 2010.

2005-2006
Boy known as Victim 1 says that he meets Sandusky through The Second Mile at age 11 or 12.

Spring 2007
During the 2007 track season, Sandusky begins spending time with Victim 1 weekly, having him stay overnight at his residence in College Township, Pa.

Spring 2008
Termination of contact with Victim 1 occurs when he is a freshman in a Clinton County high school. After the boy's mother calls the school to report sexual assault, Sandusky is barred from the school district attended by Victim 1 from that day forward and the matter is reported to authorities as mandated by law.

Early 2009
An investigation by the Pennsylvania attorney general begins when a Clinton County, Pa., teen boy tells authorities that Sandusky has inappropriately touched him several times over a four-year period.

September 2010
Sandusky retires from day-to-day involvement with The Second Mile, saying he wants to spend more time with family and handle personal matters.

March 2011
Harrisburg (Pa.) Patriot-News reports that grand jury is investigating Sandusky on allegations of indecent assault against a teenage boy. The Patriot-News reports that five people with knowledge of the case said the grand jury has been meeting for 18 months and has called witnesses, including Paterno and Curley. Penn State declines comment.

Nov. 5, 2011
Sandusky is arrested and released on $100,000 bail after being arraigned on 40 criminal counts.

Nov. 7, 2011
Pennsylvania Attorney General Linda Kelly says Paterno is not a target of the investigation into how the school handled the accusations. But she refuses to say the same for university president Graham Spanier. Curley and Schultz, who have stepped down from their positions, surrender on charges that they failed to alert police to complaints against Sandusky.

Nov. 8, 2011
Possible ninth victim of Sandusky contacts state police as calls for ouster of Paterno and Spanier grow in state and beyond. Penn State abruptly cancels Paterno's regular weekly news conference.

Nov. 9, 2011
Paterno announces in the morning he'll retire at the end of the season, but the university's board of trustees rules later that Paterno and Spanier are out effective immediately. Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley is named interim coach and provost Rodney Erickson is named interim university president.

I thought Sandusky was born in Washington, PA, not Philly? (I got my info from wikipedia, and its Washington PA link pointed to the one in western PA). Still, with some asteroids thrown in it's still painting an interesting picture. The chart I have (with the rectified time for Washington, PA) puts Dejanira conjunct Venus, both trine BM Lilith, with Dejanira and Lilith both sextile Adonis. Also, Lust Sextile Pholus.

Natal chart was interesting enough, but with the draconic-natal comparison, I think we should have a comparison for other predators.

Jerry Sandusky Natal
Jerry Sandusky Draconic
Jerry Sandusky Natal-Draconic Comparison

Hello BlackSeraph, Yes JS was born in Washington, Pa but I couldn't find it, got a little lazy and used Philly.
(Thanks for the rectification)

The charts I drew up both have Aries Ascendants with JS's being criticle @ (13*) and placing Transiting Pluto on the MC
(this scandal has ruined his Reputation and Career)

JP's is criticle also @ (0*) Aries but placing Transiting Uranus on the Asc.
(this scandal has turned his world upside down and taken away something he thought could never be taken from him...his career and reputation)

By progression, both have the P. Sun in the 12th house.

It's interesting to note that Paterno has Jupiter in Aquarius and Sandusky was born on an Eclipse in Aquarius

Keep it coming, I like your viewpoints.

Love you Ami

I can never understand why with campus crimes people never go straight to the police. That's the only way to see that justice is served and if the police don't do their job, there's always the media to bring things to the light. I wouldn't trust campus police to guard a granola bar. When did college faculties gain the same powers of the police? This is only going to get worse considering that Sandusky was a part of the charity since the 70s. I read the charges and judging from it, he had a routine. If he abused the children that he was supposed to help I can only wonder what went on with his adopted children.

There are rumors that Paterno helped in selling boys to other pedophiles. If this is true, we're nowhere near the tip of the mountain. Obviously, this $#!* flint was protected. Someone reported that he raped a child and the only thing that happened was that he was told not to bring children into the locker room again? That's it?! I fear that Sandusky wasn't alone in this and much more powerful people are a part of this as well. As disturbing as the site of seeing something like this happen to a child, I'm sorry, but there's no way that I would have walked away crying. Screw my own emotional damage, that s.o.b. would have been seeing stars for the rest of his disgusting life. Every last one of them who did nothing is just as guilty.

They both have Progressed MC in their 12th houses of undoing, downfalls, and controversy(?). Sandusky has prog. MC opposite Chiron in his 6th house (both natal and progressed). The pain that he caused people using his job and name would come back and take a chunk out of his a$$, hurting his reputation and career. His prog. MC is with his prog. Venus, much like his natal placements, in a loose conjunction. Maybe Venus is balancing the scales and with it in his 12th house, things aren't likely to end well for him (or maybe I'm just too hopeful). Prog. MC squares his natal Saturn. Maybe everything he worked for is about to be taken from him- privileges, freedom, and money? Saturn's in his 3H: the people who protected him are turning against him and he's likely to be denied protection from the higher ups. Prog. Saturn is on his natal Saturn. His reputation isn't likely to recover from this. Prog. MC sextiles his natal Mercury: someone's still in his corner. His wife? Maybe someone in an authority position, someone he's legally bound to. His prog. DC is in opposition to his prog. Mars and loosely conjuncts his 10H Mercury: his enemies have hit him where he was able to prey on children. I think I'm hoping too much in wanting Mars to go after him with everything it has. On his prog. AC and so close to his natal IC, he will either be protected or his community will likely come after him with torches and pitchforks like Frankenstein. I'm not so sure about prog. Neptune in his 6H. It could mean a number of things: his health could make an odd turn, overdose, or there are still people who can't accept what he did. But Neptune will leave his 6H, revealing possibly even more. And for the most obvious, prog. Pluto in 5H, uncovering a whole lot that was buried. It conjuncts both his natal and prog. NN. It opposites his Sun in his 11H. Remember Paterno said he couldn't believe that Sandusky had done these things? Well, in the official grand jury report, Paterno is stated to have reported an incident to someone in higher authority.

Oh Delilah, we must be sharing a brain, I couldn't agree with you more.

I just got off of work, what a icky night but while I'm there I'm listening to all of these Pro Paterno fans saying how the poor man shouldn't have been fired over the phone because he did THE RIGHT THING by reporting it to the athletics director Tim Curley and if Curley didn't alert the Authorities then oh well

I think Joe Paterno acted as an enabler and his good name is forever ruined.

If ONE person had stood up and done the right thing, then just think how many children could have been spared.

Penn State will never be the same.

I never condoned what he did. I did say that he should have done more. With that said, as a former undergrad of Penn State, a lifelong college football fan, and admirer of JoePa, I am heart broken that we, as a student body and school, did not get to say goodbye to him. I liken it almost to having your father cheat on your mother and having him kicked out before you can say goodbye. A sense of closure to begin the healing. It would have been nice to see him one last time on the field, perhaps to hear him say a goodbye speech, and to apologize publicly. That's all I, and many others such as my friends who are still at Penn State, wanted.

And no, I don't think any person, no matter what they have done should be fired OVER THE PHONE. You say something TO THEIR FACE like a HUMAN BEING. Not like TRASH. People are becoming the EXACT thing that they resent.

The Chicago Sun Times says that there are now 40 victims. I have no sympathy for anyone but the children in this. I don't even like children that much, but think that their innocence should be protected no matter what. I don't care how many successes Paterno had on the field, he failed to do something about this monster, so being fired over the phone is just a rain drop of karma. I cannot understand the students who rioted. Is football worth so much more than a child? Why not be angry at Paterno and everyone who protected Sandusky? These are the people who have tarnished Penn State's reputation and made the world a much more wretched place to live in.

Edit: I read an article on Huffington Post and Sandusky has been charged with 40 counts of child molestation.
