These guys are who I attract, and I'm awares as to why. But I need some ladies to sound off on experiences with these pessimistic yet intellectually appealing guys...What Moon and Venus placements did your guy have as well? So we can draw the distinctions IP: Logged |

I will be the first to say I'm a sucker for Capricorn men. I have an intuitive connection to probably most of the ones I've known. They're blunt, but I like it. And Capricorn risings... omg! Sexxxy. I like the strong vibe they give off, very manly and throw me to the ground type of vibe. It feels like the dirty old lion falling in love with the slutty young lamb.Sun/Venus in Aries, Gem rising, Taurus moon. IP: Logged |

I have tons of fun with mine....he has a sag moon and aquarius venus. he can be flaky at times.I don't find him to be pessimistic though but that may be because I am a cap, too. We share melancholy moods but we understand each other. We have our share of ups and downs but we can't seem to stay away from each other for too long. this has been so far one of the best relationships i have been in- there's a level of comfort with each other. Intellectually & physically stimulating.IP: Logged |

Yes!!! You speak my lingo. So magnetic, such a subtle power and it makes you want to pounce on these mountain goats. Yum yum... Any examples of a particular Cappy who really stirred your passion pot? IP: Logged |

Good to hear you guys really "fit" one another! I hate to say pessimistic per se...so I do take that back. Its moreso you all being so grounded in life that a lot of flights of fancy and joyful glee can be a bit much for a practical person more times than not. Sag Moon??? Ok, I can see how by that piece of the puzzle he's not all bad with the melancholy demeanor...quite cheerful and optimistic enough... IP: Logged |

On other astrology based sites, I always hear people bad mouth Capricorn.I like them a lot. Anyone with personal planets in Capricorn, I admire them automatically. I am drawn to them. Especially Mars in Capricorn, ASC, and moon and Capricorn. The way they handle things is a sight I love to see. So controlled, such self-will, determination, it almost seems effortless. I really admire Capricorn placements.... IP: Logged |

Currently a skeezi guy I'd really never give two looks at otherwise is a Capricorn sun, Scorpio moon and Venus. He gets me REALLY riled up which is easy to do but hard to sustain. But it's sustained alright. The other combo I die for is Capricorn rising, Leo suns. VERY macho men and I secretly LOVE the way he made me pace myself. Aries (or me anyway) actually love being teased. Maybe it's the Gem in me? I don't know. I don't really care as long as he's a Capricorn, lol. Also, I thought it was ironic Ryan Gosling is a Scorpio with a Capricorn moon. HA... he stirs my passion pot alright. He can stir it anytime. IP: Logged |

Its a nice healthy balance with us....most of the times we are so serious in our day to day lives apart but its good to laugh it out at the end of the day together. I've dealt with other capricorn men in the past but none really did anything for me. They were all so scandalous but I think it has to do more with age. When they're younger it seems to me that they are more the philandering type just flitting from flower to flower and not taking the time to enjoy the intimacy of a relationship. Very shallow were those men. As far as the pluto transit, it has been conjunct my mars in the 8th house for a few years. It has been a haaawwt! I never want it to end...lol IP: Logged |

Don't mean to interject in your thread. Just wanted to say hello. I'm one of the few Capricorn men on here.Capricorn Sun, Mars and Mercury in House 10 and House 11. Taurus in House 2. Jupiter in House 2 cusp. Moon in Gemini and Venus in Aquarius. Ascendant in Aries and NorthNode in Cancer. I'm honest, down-to-earth, to-the-point, intellectual, ambitious and aggressive, counterbalanced with passion and sensitivity. Career and wealth are important to me, but family and home life are paramount. I'mnot sure if I see myself as pessimisticl just realistic. Perhaps because of the presence of Jupiter. Let me know if you need insights into what any Capricorn men is thinking, or understanding of how they behave. Cheers and wishing you lots of the love you seek. IP: Logged |

Do Capricorns ever do anything 'just because'? The ones I know never did and I don't understand why. Like why not be spontaneous, why does everything need a reason? For example (a really small example) like say it's been two weeks since my Capricorn told me he loves me. I'd be like "Oh why don't you say I love you more?" and he would probably respond "But I did, two weeks ago." It's difficult and secretly hurts my feelings he doesn't express more of what he feels if he feels that way, you know? I guess it takes a mature partner to understand they DO more than they SAY and that what they DO is so much more valuable but still... Cappies... what prevents you from bieng VERBAL people? YoursTrulyAlways...Hello! Interject as you please, its good to get information from the direct object of this subject! You actually sound a lot like the most recent Cappy I was dealing with. Can you convey what your turn offs are as a Venus Aqua at the very least? This guy has his Sun and Merc in 4H which also makes home very important and a focal point for his work ethics outside the home. I can't get a good thorough understanding of how he really "loves" with women. Any feedback? IP: Logged |

Hannarama, hello to you! If I may put out there...Capricorns are the most goal oriented Earth signs bar none. Basically everyone has placements that add to or take away from the "go getter" attitude with ambitions. But these guys wear top hat with this. In general Earth signs believe what they attain &/or do for you equates to just how much they love you. The verbal longings don't come so simple with that, as often as a Water or Fire sign may easily and more fluently convey... The chart of a Capricorn can amplify the romanticism a good deal, but overall these guys are so focused with attaining success they miss the love train quite much and don't quite gel with an overly amorous woman. Takes a detached enough woman to understand their love style. IP: Logged |

As both a Venus in Aquarius and a Capricorn in Mars, I thrive on achievement and intellectual stimulation. I like women who exhibit confidence, inner strength, achievement and the ability to stand on her two feet. Too needy and too dependent would be a bit annoying, as would be a woman who is overly submissive especially in thought process: "whatever you say dear, and whatever you want dear, and anything you like, dear..." Over time, those would drive me nuts. I like partners who thrive in mutual respect and appreciation. A bit of difference in opinion and a bit of debate would add some spunk to the relationship and make it more interesting. As to being aloof, that is a bit of a stereotype, but Capricorns are fundamentally cautious and demure. The outward demeanor is one of quiet conservatism. The woman has to know that what's underneath may belie what's on the exterior. I myself am very emotional, passionate and sensitive. My unique aspects make me a balance of feminine and masculine, and that may drive some women nuts, especially those women who like only macho-behaving guys. Your guy has his Sun and Mars in House 4, which makes him very focused on his home. He is probably very well grounded and at peace with his environment. It seems to me that he is immensely loving of his partner and would do everything to nurture and shelter his family. I don't know him obviously, but it seems to me he is the mature, grounded type that would not want a "flighty" woman. I seems to me that his eventual objective is a traditional marriage and family. He is a tad different from me, with my Sun in House 10. Also I don't know his Venus or Moon, but Mars is more important. But this discussion is not about me. Hope this is some help. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, Capricorns have their weakness, and being unable to be spontaneous and/or frivilous once in a while removes their ability to enjoy life to the fullest extent. I'll deal with the first issue and talk about myself: probably the "worst kind" of Capricorn. I have my Sun, Mars and Mercury in House 10, and have Jupiter focused in House 2. Therefore, to an observer, I'm focused heavily on career success and wealth. That is true because I am excellent at providing material security for my family. Its my nature to be the hunter of food for my family, and being a Capricorn, I'll probably be the guy that catches the most prized prey for my family while the other guys in the village watch in envy. To illustrate, I'm so engrossed with success that I would be the type that would stand in front of the college professor and argue for 10 minutes about a 95 on an exam vs. a 100. I completed three graduate degrees even though I hated school. My grades were also perfect. I would go bonkers at work if my annual performance reviews were not just perfect across the board. In everything I do, I am extremely focused and have my eyes on the prize. This means that I am strategically five to seven steps ahead of the competition in terms of thought process. How does it translate to dating? Well, I have the whole date mapped out, and probably the next five dates as well. Saying you want to go to the movies suddenly when we have plans would throw me off. There, I'm not perfect. Everything has a plan, and change in plans need a good reason in my mind. If you can't appreciate that, then you wouldn't like me very much. My fault is that I can try to accomodate quirkiness, but I still would be engrossed in understanding your thought process. "Just because" does not compute. My mind is like a computer. If it does not compute, I will have a "Blue Screen" and lock up. As far as being expressive, I guess all guys are different. I personally don't have problems saying "I Love You." In fact, I have the opposite problem and my "I Love You" mouth gets me into deep trouble way too often lol Just to put things into context, my wife and I chose to get married within 25 days of meeting each other, and we got married within 11 weeks. We have been married for 19 years and have 3 children. There you go. "I Love You" slipped out kinda fast. lol Hope this helps. I'll be glad to write some more. IP: Logged |

And you would be so correct!! Its my honor and pleasure to meet, and we'll compare notes from time to time. If you would like, I have a rather intense and concentrated natal study going on in Personal Readings. Taurus rising would make you just awesome! Cheers. IP: Logged |

Wow! Now that was highly informative and appreciated. Feels good to compare notes with persons into studying astrology...sheesh. This man has Sag Mars (doesn't aspect to any of his houses) and his desires within recent years has him sooo into religion. His Jupiter also conjuncts 9H so you can gather he clearly has this reigning over him well. When we met many years back he was a ball of fire, had to see me, had to make me his with urgency. But I quickly noticed the many contradictions he deals with and it drove me right out the door. He battles a lot inwardly I'm sure...even from a distance I can feel it... IP: Logged |

LMAO. I could totally hear the voice, the cadence, the tone... everything in that. You're a freaking COMPUTER! Ugh, maybe I don't like Capricorns 'cause they're the only sign that reminds me I'm dumb. Excellent at retaining too... you never miss a beat. I'm jealous. In all seriousness now though (your specialty), why wouldn't 'just because' computer after someone brought it to your attention? I'd think you're kind of like an Air sign (Aquarius...) you know maybe you don't understand it just being explained to you by someone but if I put a book on the bed, say... Idiot's Guide To "saying I Love You", would you read that and incorporate it's advice into your persona/relationship? Or would it never be able to be apart of your personality? Hope I made sense, sometimes my brain works faster than my fingers and I get lost in translation. IP: Logged | |
