I have this aspect in my chart w/ a tight orb of 1 deg. Apparently it means that a person has a "light" about them and is beaming with confidence. This is the only aspect in my chart that I don't relate too. Most of the time I'm an extremely shy person, but it usually depends on my environment. Also, nobody ever notices me in public. If i'm among a crowd or even a group of friends, I'm just.. there lol. My birthday is in two days and even in my transit the Sun trining my Ascendant has no effect. IP: Logged |

I would say its Cap in H11.. I have the same.. No much on small talk, few friends, but will have them for long time.. etc Does Neptune or Saturn aspect your Asc.. I have read if Neptune aspects your asc with a hard aspect, you can be invisible to other people.. Meaning, they dont really see you there.. IP: Logged |

I wound guess that it's because your sun and asc. are in water signs. Maybe the "light" and "confidence" would be evident in, say, fire sign people, maybe even earth signs.IP: Logged |

OO and Pisces Asc is a Neptune Asc... Pisces is ruled by Neptune.. Your chart ruler is Neptune, in cap in H11 conjunct Saturn?? Have you read Cap Asc?? Does some of these qualities fit you? IP: Logged |

Makes sense :] No my saturn just goes into Aqua 1.36, but my neptune tightly conjuncts my 11H. I just looked it up and maybe this is not a good site, but it states that they are generally successful in what they do. I guess, so far I achieved some goals. IP: Logged |

Cap rising: takes everything seriously. Even when they are playing a joke, they are deadpan. They have impeccable timing for this kind of humor. If there is one word that describes Capricorn Rising, it is competence. They are very conscious of the image they project, from the clothes they wear to the expression on their face. They think if they look successful, they'll be successful… and in general, Capricorn Ascendant makes this true! I get the idea, & it probably would be true if I didn't have Sag Mercury in the 9H IP: Logged |

Trines are "light-footed" aspects. They won't cause things to *happen*. Just to be. The positive potential is there but if you don't use it, a trine will not make you for instance not be shy. It will give you a positive little push if you decide to get out of your shell, but it won't make you do something. You understand? It's just auspicious energy. How you use it, is entirely up to you! Like a talent: the potential is there but if you don't use it, having the talent won't change your life, *you* have to make it count!

Your sun energy and ascendant energy work harmoniously together. I have the opposition - which I actually kinda like because then I'm not so easily 'read' - how I appear to people is all over the place and no one is quite able to figure me out. Works for me, because with four planets in the eighth I feel like I belong to myself and don't want to be figured out by others anyway. I've heard other people complain about not being noticed often before and that's always seemed like a really weird thing to be upset about to me - like, why would you WANT everybody to always notice you in the first place, anyway? What's the point, what's so appealing about that? Is it the constant need to be the center of attention, what is it? No offense, but it just seems like a really ego-driven, attention-whorish type thing to me. I'm one of those people who pretty much ends up sticking out like a sore thumb in pretty much any social situation, and it's not intentional on my part (although plenty of people have accused me of that). My rising sign and south node are in Aquarius, and my chart ruler (Uranus) quintiles my Ascendant, conjuncts my MC and is also conjunct Lilith, which probably explains that. At this point I'm basically resigning myself to the fact that this is something I'll always have to deal with unfortunately. But the few times I have managed to blend into the background and go under the radar, I'm always thrilled. IP: Logged |

Not at all! If i wanted attention, I would stop being shy and heighten my ego to get attention. I'm just explaining that what this aspect states does not apply to me. On that note, everyone wants to be noticed once in a while but I'm not looking to be the next superstar or anything :/. Of course if your always sticking out like a sore thumb as you claim eventually you'll want the opposite & vice-versa. Notice I never asked anybody "What can I do to get attention?" So you got the wrong Idea. This thread is mainly about how Sun trine Ascendant functions. IP: Logged |

Gemini is almost in Cancer, and Cancer-Taurus make a sextile. But it is similar to the trine. How does sun-asc work for you?IP: Logged |

Well since it's a trine I don't really think you're supposed to FEEL it. It's just goin to flow harmoniously whether you like it or not. And then you have the TIGHT 1 orb? Also if your expecting people to just outright notice you everywhere, you got it wrong. It basically just makes you have a nice glow, much vitality, so yeah you will come off as wholesome or innocent to most people. But I think Pluto aspects have to do with the ATTRACTION you're talking about. IP: Logged |
