His Mars aspects my SN

My NN in 8H (Gemini)
His NN in 3H (Scorpio)

I'm gathering that aspecting with charts can draw some "fated" connections but...What's the real deal with looking to the Nodes?

Aspect how? I only pay attention to conjunctions or oppositions with the nodes.

I need some help with the nodes too! My sun is like, RIGHT THERE on top of my north node.
What does that mean? o:
Am I like, naturally heading in my "karmic" direction or...?
