Topic: Water sign males. Is it me or are they completely selfish?

We're told they're 'sensitive'.. and god are they ever. But it seems like although they're supposed to be able to tune into feelings easier, they fixate purely on themselves. In a 'they can definitely dish it out, but can't take it' kind of way. You feel like you have to tread on egg shells around them and it seems like there's always this double standard?It also seems to be that they can be the coldest and most cruel of all signs. Which is completely ironic considering you would think that since they're 'sensitive', they would apply that sensitivity towards other people? Alot of water sign men lack complete empathy? While some fire and air signs seem more able to treat others with respect?? Ironic or what? IP: Logged |

Yup, especially when they're influenced by the fire element. Water energy is very yin so I guess they prefer to stick to ultra-masculine fire. Easier to deal with.My run-ins:
Cancer guy with Leo Moon = will sulk if not center of attention. Self-absorbed. Drama queen. Attention ***** . Will want all eyes in the audience on him even though he actually doesn't have the ability to truly connect with an audience. Pisces guy with Aries Venus & Mars: Extremely sensitive about perceived slights toward him but oblivious to how his actions affect others. IP: Logged |

Capriaquarius, I've had the exact same experience withe same signs as your Guys (same venus and mars too!) Execept the cancer had a sagg moon. O_o IP: Logged |

I agree they are. My ex-friend was a Taurus with a Pisces moon dating a Pisces with a Capricorn moon (if memory serves me right) and he was pretty selfish. He cared about her a lot and it was obvious, but he still acted like a baby about the stupidest things. For instance, our mutual friend was graduating college and we thought it'd be fun to go to a strip club (note: that's NOT fun, and I'd never been to a strip club. I thought it was like what you see in TV, much to my dismay and horror it's anything but.) well he didn't want to because him and my Taurus friend had just fought over that and he thought it would upset her. No matter how many times she assured him everything was okay and this was a different scenario - he still threw a fit about going to the point that we had been at the house for an hour waiting for him to un-fit. Next, my ex-friend who's a Leo with a Sag moon (keep in mind siderally this would be a Cancer with a Scorpio moon) was so ******* selfish. He didn't care that he was manipulating my feelings, and to be honest to this day I still don't know what he got out of it. He had low self-esteem and it was VERY easy to upset him and VERY hard to calm him back down and get him to admit he had any responsibility in the matter. I think "Okay, maybe he manipulated my feelings just to see if he could." but then it doesn't make sense why he KEPT doing it once he found out he can. Like, what more could you possibly want from me when I'm already drunk and sobbing and making a horribly embarrassing confession of love? Especially when that isn't my nature. Finally, my Cancer best friend (with a Cancer moon, Mercury in Leo) is selfish as well. He's not manipulative (anymore) so I let his self-centeredness slide a lot but it's apparent. Conversations revolve around him and his life whereas when I need advice I'm met with stutters and a blank stare, like he just can't think of what to tell me. He's ditched me and our plans in favor of a stranger and a possible hook-up. We're basically friends of convenience but he lives in a different state now so the relationship works.

I'm not completely selfish and I'm a scorpioooo...But I do agree with you on the "coldest, cruelest" part. When I think about the most violent people I know of, like murderers or stuff, plenty of watery people come up. IP: Logged |
