My dream house would be one that's paid for and has double paned windows to save on the gas bill. Otherwise, it could be painted purple for all I care, lol.JK. This is my dream house with a little "Keep off the grass" sign in the front.  IP: Logged |

AHHH!!! I figured this thread was coming up eventually, I was looking forward to it.Exterior-wise...I've already found a couple houses where I live that I consider my dream, and ultimately what I'm working towards.   Sun Leo

Ivy/moss exterior, lots of spiraling outdoor staircases, each one takes you to a diff level, a diff side of the house. I like it cos you could get lost on the outside and if you've never been there you wouldn't know where you'd end up once you got inside. Nice gardens, cozy things, places to hide.

Kitchens I like; bright and airy with huge windows, lots of natural sunlight, that's a mandatory thing for me :   Bathrooms? There's parts of these I love and parts I HATE; I love the windows and the warm-colored wood in first this one, and the glass surrounding the shower area in both pics, but the rest of it is wayyyy too modern and sterile-looking for me; I'd find some way to take the general look and warm the whole thing up though and make it look more homey and less clinical :   Living room? Dunno, but this is kinda in the general direction I'd go :  Dining room, but I'd use a warmer color palette, maybe make the walls yellow...

This is one astrological stereotype that's actually true - my moon is air, I have four planets in air signs, and my ascendant is air. I have a window fetish, and I need as many of them and as much natural light to come in as is humanly possible.
