Lioness - you always have awesome insights - I think this composite is a freak of nature! lollll I mean.. I was just like W.T.F. when I saw it.

Not at all what I would've expected considering how stable and enduring their relationship is.

Could it be that the Mars/Uranus square is not as strong because it is out of sign?

I wonder what it was like, them getting together. Usually Venus sq Saturn means they're both wary of being rejected by the other, so often they don't try at all.

IDK maybe... maybe both people have mars/uranus in natals.. Or Heavy Uranus and it just works for them

LOL...It just goes to show how people jump to conclusions that squares in synastry or composite mean the relationship is not going to be a lasting one.I agree squares mean obstacles and conflicts but if two people can work around it,I'm sure it could be beneficial in the long run.Again it may depend on how well they are able to handle the energy of squares in their own natal charts.

Uranus aspects (especially associated with the upper half of the chart) and also the 11th house (as well as the 10th house) are sometimes associated with politics; so maybe his involvement in politics helped them to channel that Uranian energy.
